From taking my calls, to keeping my updated on progress, being flexible on drop off and pick up times, and just making me feel like part of the family. The hourly rate was fair and they were able to squeeze me in and finish the job quickly. This is a great shop!

5 /5 Rick Burns: I have been trusting my vehicles with the Volz family since the 70’s. You won’t find a cleaner shop. They are still just as professional, efficient, and reliable as the day John started his business. Their troubleshooting and diagnosis is spot on. More than once the dealerships couldn’t determine my car’s issues. On one occasion the dealership wanted to replace the axles on my front wheel drive vehicle. John took it for a short drive and said all I needed were new brake pads. He was right and saved me a bunch of money. Although I no longer live in Grass Valley I continue to drive an hour to get my car serviced. They are the best!

5 /5 Lou Douros: How can you not love a team of mechanics that communicate well, know their stuff…and returns your car cleaner than when you dropped it off?! I would recommend buying your next car with Volz in mind as your mechanic. So - call them and ask for a recommendation, they have relationships with excellent car dealers and, being in the foothills, it’s important to have a trusted and excellent service provider that can do whatever the dealer could do…without the long commute down the hill. Seriously. Give them a try for your repairs and inspections. Volz is the best in the county.
