1 /5 Su At: It’s sad to rate them this way, however they created a nightmare for the past three visits for a simple transmission fluid leak and installation of emergency break cables. They changed the gasket in the first time yet they tried to say I might have big problem within the transmission itself, because the pan had accumulated some residue, my transmission is a custom rebuilt. When I stayed firm that my transmission was okay, they stepped back and agreed that ‘it might be fine’. Then the leak didn’t stop actually got worse afterwards, funny enough I had noticed the leak while picking up the vehicle and when pointing it to the new owner Spencer, he said “oh that’s because we’d just changed the gasket, it is the residues, it will settle”.. I wanted to believe him and this shop as they knew me as a regular customer. I fully put my trust in this shop based on my first experience before the ownership changed from Ken to Spencer. The leak got worse and worse than before so I went back, the technician pointed out the mounting screw, blurbing things that made no sense, then he said let me clean up little bit to be sure..After only 10 minutes they (Spencer) said all good there won’t be anymore leaks. Indeed The leak settled down a bit but after leaving the vehicle parked during a few weeks trip I noticed it happened again but less intense upon my return. So I went back, this time they said transmission fluid pan had a dent, the gasket and the pan itself needed to be replaced with an estimate of 1200+ cost.. had to leave for a month as part of my work and came back to find out the leak turned into dripping. Oil level is half way and had topped up before I left. I really work so hard for my money and this shop knows that I use this van for work and home as camper van and cannot afford any risks and been very on top of any issues with it. Each of these visits been costing $400-$700 always paid without questioning it much. Also I always had a good conversations with Spencer while waiting to pick up during all those visits,however I am now super disappointed as I feel they are abusing my trust in them. I.e. where was that dent in the first two visits? Why no mentions ? and since then I had almost zero occasion such dent could occur. Yet the level of pan is higher than the muffler etc so no dent on any lower parts. And the same thing (hookup) started rolling up around emergency cable installation. All in all, don’t put your full trust in this shop and never stop practicing discernment based on the reviews and good service. Will file a complaint at the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) if they don’t take action to correct it without additional cost. With respect!

We had a pre-purchase inspection conducted on a potential used vehicle by AC as the independent party, and Spencer was wonderful. They seemed to do thorough lookover, going further than just a visual, and communicated honestly what we were looking at in terms of value for sale price and upcoming issues/degrees of immediacy with the needed maintenance. When asked how we could pay they replied there was no charge. Being from out of state and not able to lay eyes on the vehicle ourselves, we feel confident in AC and appreciate them very much. Recommend!

5 /5 Andrew Molino: They were very friendly and helpful explaining everything to us and giving us quality work for a very fair price. We didnt have to wait long and were done within a couple of hours. The hospitality was great, offering coffee while we wait.

5 /5 Evan Ross Murphy: Spencer the owner is helpful and knowledgeable and treats his workers well, (closed Friday after 40 hr week) the kind of guy who gets things done for neighbors and who elders can trust. Two such patrons came in while I was there, one elder woman was there for what seemed like reassurance with a recent fix and maybe a hug, and another gentleman lamenting that he had lost his job recently and might need help. Spencer listened with care and helped both, while easing their worries, he had my radiator repaired in an hour and a half to keep me going to work the following day and he has helped me many times. In a world where it’s hard to know who to trust, Spencer here is one of the good guys.
