5 /5 Alicia Drivon-Hutcheson: BEST automotive shop in Grass Valley! (their Nevada City shop too) Honest, reliable and trustworthy! Would NEVER go anywhere else. As a 5 tall Blonde female, they have never treated me like other shops have, talking down to me like I am a dumb know nothing blonde that will believe blindly whatever they say. I cannot recommend highly enough!

We all know how hard it can be to find a shop that is good at what they do and you don’t feel like your taken through the ringer. It’s also known that women tend to get taken advantage of when their cars need repairs. I was referred to Douglas Automotive through a good friend. Alex, the owner is a super solid dude. I completely trust, not only his expertise but his ethics. The shop is always incredibly busy, if that’s any indication of how well this auto shop is ran, people come back. Brian is Alex’s right hand man and runs the front of the shop. He is a nice guy, straight forward and very efficient. He also makes popcorn which my kiddo loves. The shop is clean, they are knowledgeable, and trustworthy.

5 /5 Steven Nickson: I delivered tires to Douglas Automotive and I have to say that my experience with Brian(service advisor) and Alex(owner) was exactly what you would expect from a small business up in the mountains. Friendly, courteous, and always happy customers in shop. On occasion would deliver to Nevada City location. Jeff the service advisor was just the same! If youre ever in town and looking for a solid business, these guys are your huckleberrys.

From start to finish, they demonstrated integrity and honesty, never trying to sell me on unnecessary work. The communication was exceptional and I was never left out of the loop with what was going on as I was out of state during the repairs. Ive owned this vehicle for 13 years now and I am excited for my 3,000 mile road trip in whats essentially, a brand new 30 year old Chevy. Thank you Douglas Automotive team for all of your hard work.
