Veronica Potter: I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Hoag Health Center, Genetic Testing in Irvine. At the time of testing, I was explicitly told that my out-of-pocket cost would not exceed $395. However, I was later shocked to receive a bill for $945—more than double the quoted amount!
I reached out to financial services numerous times in an effort to resolve this issue. Despite being assured that my case would be reviewed and researched, no meaningful assistance was provided. Instead, I received a notice threatening collections. When I called again and offered to pay the originally quoted amount of $395, I was informed this was unacceptable. The only concession they made was a mere 10% discount, which hardly addressed the problem.
BEWARE if you’re considering Hoag Health Center for genetic testing or any other services. Their lack of transparency and unwillingness to resolve billing disputes is unacceptable. There’s a reason they aren’t ranked #1, and my experience highlights why.

Dr. Mehrdad Rostami: Hoag Hospital Emergency Room deserves five stars for their outstanding care and professionalism. My wife recently visited for her broken wrist, and we were fortunate to have been helped by Physician Assistant Mrs. Sillers and her assistant Anthony. They were both incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable.
The level of expertise they demonstrated was exceptional. They performed tension and manipulation under X-ray to realign the broken part with great skill and gentleness. It was clear they were not only experts in their field but also deeply caring in their approach.
I truly thank Mrs. Sillers, Anthony, and the rest of the team for their compassionate and thorough care. We are so grateful for the excellent treatment my wife received.
