5 /5 Marjorie Adams: I live in Japan and came to visit stateside for a month and I got a bacterial infection on my foot/ankle but wasn’t quite sure....thought I’d ride it out but was too painful and I couldn’t wait until Monday to meet with my previous primary doctor. Big decision, do I go to ER or try urgent care that I just saw the other day driving around with my mom. Decided Sharp Urgent Care would be less time consuming over the weekend. BEST DECISION EVER AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE. Loved my medical team, shout out to Lauren my attending PA (nope you don’t need a doc when they know their stuff and listen to you as a patient) my nurse John who made sure I was doing ok at all times and would check in on me, charge nurse Paul, my gentle giant who started my IV and drew blood and added lots of goodies into the IV. I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge my X-ray tech and the lovely receptionist that checked me in. I had a lot of things done and I was in and out of there within 2 1/2 hours. I’ve sat in ER for 12 hours so this was such a treat. The Japanese are well know for their excellent customer service, it’s just their culture, but my medical team would definitely fall in that same category. It was a great experience domo arigato gozaimashita!
