Sperry Campos: Stanford is the Best Hospital. I had a great experience with the orthopedic clinic and their staff. Great doctors too, especially Dr. Jeremy Chan who specializes in ankle and foot.
Anna Yan, M.D. - San Carlos
Joanne Lee: Dr Yan is one of my favorites doctors that I’ve the pleasure to interact with. She’s attentive, emphatic and caring. We work on my health issues and always engage in healthy and respectful dialogues. Please continue the great work , Dr Yan!
Concentra Urgent Care - San Carlos
Lauren Barnes: Do not come here for urgent care. This clinic is incompetent. Despite being contracted with my insurance, they tried to charge me (no joke) 30 times my copay. After a long call with insurance, they realized their system had a mistake and finally agreed to honor my copay and insurance. I asked what went wrong and they said they just have to do what the system says but they can manually override it. They are a waste of time. They will try to scam you out of extra money then give you subquality care when you do finally get to see them. Expect wait times up to two hours for a simple flu test. If you value your time and sanity do not come here.
Digestive Care Medical Center - San Carlos
Vincenzo Cagno: Dr. Roger Kao has been my gastroenterologist since I was just 12 years old. Now at age 20, I can honestly say that he has shown true compassion, and professionalism throughout my experience of being his patient. I have been able to chase my dreams, and live what most would say a normal life is like while battling Ulcerative Colitis. Not only is Dr. Kao great but even down to his team of receptionist’s. Colleen is amazing and always has taken care of me. During a rare occasion if Dr. Kao is on a vacation, Dr. Levenson is quick to step in and deliver the same level of care needed. Overall I have felt apart of the family during my experience with Digestive Care Center in San Carlos CA. The world needs more doctors like Roger Kao.
Sutter Urgent Care - San Mateo - San Mateo
Suzanne Camargo: Im extremely happy I ended up going here instead of another urgent care closer to home. The staff and Drs were super nice and caring. I hardly waited longer than 15 min each time I was seen by either a Dr, assistant, or tech. (Wait time varies based on your issue and they responded quickly to get my broken finger looked at). The Drs are thorough and knowledgeable. Highly recommened traveling here if youre able to and using the online website to notify them of your ETA. Thank you to all who helped me!

Bay Family Medical Group: Paley Adam E MD - San Mateo
Kimberat21 F.: Dr. Adam Paley was my GP for over ten years. He is an outstanding doctor and a truly kind and compassionate human being. I think he is the best primary care doc I have ever had. I now have terminal breast cancer, and I did not want to leave this earth without acknowledging Dr. Paley one last time.
Livermore Division - VA Palo Alto Health Care System - Livermore
Miser Wiserk: This place from what Ive heard through the years used to be a full service hospital that treated our wonderful veterans when they came home from service. Beautifully tucked in the hills of Livermore, ca. They are now a clinic I have been coming here for my father in-law for about 6 years. They have vision, hearing, prosthetics, primary care and more. I have never waited more then 15 minutes after our appointment time. Staff is always pleasant to deal with and always eager to listen and assist with any of our needs. I hear they are now building a new location that this one will be going to in French camp, CA. I just wonder whats to happen to all of the wildlife.
Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara Medical Center - Santa Clara
Lydia V: Worst ER experience. Last night I went to the ER for constant vomiting of bile and not being able to hold anything down. I walked in and literally had a bucket in my hands in case I was to vomit again. I was feeling very weak, and the check in nurse was rude. I sat down to get my blood pressure taken, and I began to get emotional due to the severe stomach pain I had. She asked “are you just crying because of the vomiting?” I disregarded this and sat in the waiting area. I then got moved to a room within the ER. Mind you my spouse was with me. This portion was okay, the ER doctor was adamant that I had a viral infection. At this point I was told I would be taken to the back area of the ER to be given fluids, and that my spouse could not go with me. This has only been an issue at this hospital and the one on Santa Teresa. I asked if I were to wait in the waiting area if I could get fluids there as I was feeling dizzy. They said I would not receive treatment. My spouse ended up waiting outside in his vehicle during the duration of me receiving fluids. When I was in the back area I heard some of the nurses discussing a child that had been screaming in the ER that was potentially on the spectrum. They seemed to be judging his behavior and the parent for not correcting their child’s behavior. One of them even saying that they would punish their future children for any unruly behavior. Also because I was carrying a bucket/vomit bags. It appeared as if many staff members were laughing at me. Clearly there is no empathy here. I work in customer service, and I would be in trouble for displaying any of this behavior while at work. The ER is definitely not the place to be laughing at patients, and having a horrible attitude. I get it working in a hospital/ER would be very difficult and there are ways of coping such as making jokes. But maybe one shouldn’t make those jokes in earshot of other patients. The nurse I had that administered my fluids was sweet and caring. I had to ask the doctor to prescribe me medicine for the vomiting or I wouldn’t have received any form of medication. This morning I still felt sick, and still was vomiting. Overall I don’t think that this review will make any changes, but I wanted people to be aware. I will consider changing my insurance after this and many other negative experiences.
