Edgar Aguilar I’ve had a great experience with this shop bringing my two Datsuns(280z and 610 wagon). They’re consistently on time, which is hard to come by, and the quality of work is top-notch. Communication is clear, professional. I really appreciate how Ismael and his crew keeps you in the loop with how things are going, and really goes up and beyond with helping customers and their cars. Stepping in to the shop, the entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely makes you feel at home. It’s clear they care about both their work and their customers. Highly dependable and definitely a shop you can trust.

Ronnie Dillon If you want to find an honest mechanic "Eron" is the man youre looking for. I recently purchased a 2003 Mercedes wagon from a dealership locally that had all kinds of warning lights on about 4 days into it the check engine light came on the dealer sent me right over her mechanic who happened to be Eron, I was so impressed with this guy his honesty and the fact that he tries to protect the consumer rather than the used car dealer who is paying him, he told me everything that was wrong with my car what I needed to do and how to go about it with the dealer. When I picked up my car he mentioned another issue and told me I need to take it to the dealer before 30 days otherwise it will become my problem and not hers. Great mechanic great place

Anthony Anderson They have great mechanics on staff and very professional women in the front office. One mechanic was being funny mentioning the method he used to attempt to correct a evap leak. I didn’t take it personal, but liked the idea that he was able to think on his feet to come up with a solution. It didn’t work but he gets a “B” for effort.

Tony Lapham I hit a speed bump and scrapped the bottom of my car. My local dealership said I needed a new oil pan because of damage at a cost of $3500. Green Phoenix quoted a thousand less. They ordered the part and when it came in, put the car on the lift and determined it only had minor scrapes and needed no repairs. Needless to say all of my auto repairs will be done here! They are extremely honest and I was very impressed with the service.

Ali I used to come to Trust Lane for my car repairs, but after my most recent experience, I’m seriously questioning how much they may have overcharged me in the past. I brought my car in for a simple code scan, and they tried to charge me $200 saying that the basic scan was bringing multiples codes for the scan, not including any repairs. They also tried to make me worry by saying the issue could cause my car to fail a smog check. Thankfully, I got a second opinion from another local mechanic. They ran a basic scan, found the problem quickly, (It was a faulty fuel cap) and didn’t charge me anything. I tipped them out of appreciation for their honesty, something I clearly didn’t get from Trust Lane. I waited to post this review to see if Trust Lane might have had a point. But as of today, my car passed the smog check without any issues. That confirmed what I suspected: they were either misinformed or just trying to scare me into paying for unnecessary work. I’m really disappointed, especially as a returning customer. It’s frustrating to now wonder how much money I may have wasted here over the years. I can’t recommend this place to anyone who values transparency and honest service.

JA 090 I assume youre reading these reviews to determine whether those places can do a great job on body work. Let me tell you not to look any further because you found the right place!! I own a 2000 Honda Prelude Type SH and I was devastated when I found out the tow truck company that was responsible for transporting my car to another shop damaged my drivers side fender while under their care. It had such a deep scratch and the tow truck company told me it would be better to just replace it but parts for my car are extremely rare to find and all my body panels are the original parts and I didnt want a replacement. A co-worker of mine recommended me this place and as soon as it got delivered to this shop they spent weeks trying to find another fender (which didnt surprise me) and finally just decided to repair the original fender which was exactly what I wanted. I even asked them to repair the front bumper and restore the headlights since they were already damaged and faded from the previous owner of my car. A week later, I was filled with excitement and happiness when I saw my cars fender not only repaired, but the bumper and the headlight were also repaired/restored and looked brand new. I even got new door seals straight from the Honda dealership. On top of that, they had a mobile detailing van clean my car inside and out, which was just the cherry on top. Hector even came to the shop on his day off for a brief moment on the weekend to open the shop so I can pay for my portion of the repairs and take my car home that same day which was SUPER nice and chill of him to do! So please, take my word when I say these guys really dont mess around and do an amazing job at what they do and everyone there is very professional. I was afraid of other people working on my car because of how rare it is and felt like I couldnt trust anyone. I gave this place a chance, and I do not regret it one bit. You should definitely give this place a chance too. These guys make it right and really make you feel like youre important to them. You will definitely not be disappointed with the experience and your results!!

Vikram Deshpande My car had an auto body issue while we were away from our home location and were visiting Salinas. We were on a tight timeline and had a flight to catch. Hector was thoroughly professional and ensured he would make it happen within a week provided all the parts made it in time. Hector was very professional, communicative, and reassuring through the whole process. Hector and his staff went out of their way to keep things on schedule and get the necessary parts on time. They also offered to drop and pick me up from my location which was a great personal touch! We were down to the last few hours of Friday and Hector and the staff worked over lunch to make it happen in time and my car was perfect and was detailed in time! Even offered an update next time I was in town. Massive kudos to the entire staff at Auto tech collision. They really turned a stressful situation into delight and customer happiness! If you are looking for an honest, reliable, and quality craftsmanship look no further and take your car to Hector and his team! Wish them the best as they look to open another location in Monterey!

Ray Dressel Very helpful and friendly. They gave me a great deal on changing out my radiator hose. Under $300 with parts and labor. Even took it out on a test drive to make sure there were no leaks in a great place.

Luis H Yes I pulled in for some service I told the gentleman that I would pay him money to spray WD-40 on the back tire of my e-bike tell me no that he doesnt lend out tools I wasnt asking to borrow tools I was asking for service when I was willing to pay money you told me no and look at me with disgust that sound like being racist to me why would he deny service if I was willing to pay

S P Had a great experience getting my brakes fixed at Cal Suspensions Advanced Auto. Joe was friendly and honest about repairs needed. He explained all my options clearly and even provided a ride to my office after I dropped off my car. The repair work was done well, prices were fair, and communication was excellent throughout. Will definitely be bringing my car back here and recommending Joe and his team to my friends and family.

Leticia Carranza I went to do a smog and it didnt pass,he charged me 50 dollars. He told me to run my car to Soledad and to come back that he can try it again n this time he would only charge me 40 dollars. I told him I thought he wouldnt charge me since it didnt pass. He said in the state of California they dont allow that anymore that the law change. Before u go ask first before u get stuck in my same situation.

Even the tow driver said it was a good shop. Got my car repaired within 72hours and very pleased w/ results. Will drop by when I have other problems.

Not only did Fidel send me pictures and explain each part that needed to be fixed, he was even able to do a little bit of body work on my car that needed a new bumper. I had had the body work appraised at a different place in town that was twice the price, so Im so glad I found this place. The owners wife is absolutely amazing too!
