Adina Dosmakhan I got gel manicure here from Laura a few months ago and it stayed for 2 months! My nails were not brittle afterwards and mostly all nails were still intact. Very pretty design and delicate work. I will come back again!

dawn cheng Look At Me does the BEST Russian manicures west of the Mississippi. I’ve been going to nail salons regularly for 20 years, and LAM did the best job with my nails out of anywhere else I’ve ever gone. I was absolutely blown away by the level of detail my nail tech, Carol, paid to my nails. She started off by using a nail drill to gently remove my DIY gel nails, then meticulously shaped my cuticles. Then, she applied a builder gel layer prior to applying two coats of my chosen color, a chartreuse green (perfect for spring!). Overall, she spent two hours on making sure I was absolutely obsessed and happy with my nails. Oh, and did I mention a complimentary drink is served with every appointment? You can select from coffee, tea, water, or champagne - and since it was a sunny beautiful Sunday afternoon, I opted for the champagne (which turned out to be a very generous pour). The decor is classy, clean, and well-lit. The nail techs are all extremely professional, and it literally feels like you’re at a luxury spa. Look At Me will forever be my go-to nail salon whenever I’m in SF! (Apparently, they have some locations in LA as well - which I fully intend on checking out as well). IG: @dawntc

Ines Moreno I have been going to this location lately when wanting to get my nails done! They are a little pricey but the manicures are really good quality! I love the vibe and the service is amazing! I love both their locations and have never left upset or angry about my results! My nails have never looked better and I love that they don’t feel brittle after removing the gel! Love this place!!! Definitely recommend!!! (Also this photo shows my nails a week after I got them done and they still look like new!!)

Sandra Kue I’ve been coming here for months consistently and they never let me down! Everyone does a great job and they have nice massage chairs (as well as provide nice little massages). They also ask each step of the way if you are happy with your shape/length/style/etc, so you always have time to give feedback to make sure they’re exactly what you want! Recently got a French full set from Sabrina and I’m in loveeeee with them! I love that they always have availability! You won’t regret coming here!!

Stephanie E Dilworth Waste of $46. I paid almost $50 for the nail tech to perform this super sloppy gel mani. I told him my nails looked clumpy and weird at the end and he wiped a cloth on top and said “all good.” I’m mortified by how horrible my nails look and I’m getting them redone ASAP at a better salon. The nail tech also rushed through my nails even though I was the ONLY customer in the salon.

M M I decided to get my nails fixed it was broken from the previous fake nail set. I had not tried the gel powder. I never tried this shape of a nail. This was my first time and definitely not my last. I love my nail set.

Iza Got a simple gel manicure with French tip. All though the French tip looked nice my nails don’t even look cleaned up after only a day. I went on Friday and now they look beat up. She started with a drill for my manicure then didn’t push or clean cuticle good because they look rough now. She didn’t clean under my nails either. Felt rushed. Left a photo from Friday to Sunday.

Maggie My second time here and both have been amazing experiences. They are all very sweet and checked in with me multiple times to make sure I was still pleased. I got exactly what I wanted both times and my nails lasted until I was ready to take them off. I will definitely be coming back

Kathryn Swanson Really like the staff, very clean, and courteous. I dont know how much gel nails, but thought it was a little high since most places massage your hands for 5 to 10 minutes. This is a very simple, to the point, and out the door kind of place. Ive only gone once but making another appointment.

Daina Fuller Why is this place 4 stars? I called and asked to set up an appointment and she explained to me the price for everything. She said the gel manicure was $55 and the pedicure (hot stones, shaping, & cuticles included) was $60. I had chipped a nail on my FLAWLESS manicure (done at another salon) earlier in the day and i needed to get it fixed because i had an event to attend the very next day. I arrived at the salon and said I only wanted to change the gel color on my feet to match my nails when they are done fixing the nail that broke. throughout the process we decided we would add acrylic to my big toe nails to stop them from cracking and they also ended up adding more acrylic to one or two other nails on my hands. during the process i noticed that my toes were so lumpy because they didnt file down the acrylic evenly. i asked her to file it down and she said if they file it down even more then the acrylic would be too thin and would break. also, the nail they fixed is MUCH longer than the rest of my nails. i ended up paying $105. ($15 tip included) i didnt even get the full mani pedi. why did i spend $105???? theres nothing about my nails that screams $105! i will never come back here again. they definitely ripped me off BAD. theres no reason i shouldve had to pay $105 for a gel color change and two fixed nails, and a thin layer of acrylic on my big toes. the acrylic actually was only added on a portion of my big toes and not the whole nail (hence the reason it was so lumpy) super disappointed.

Jessica Cashimere These ladies are the best!!!! I️ travel about 90% of the time for work but always wait until I️ get back home to get my nails done here. My hands go through hell on the job but my gel manicure always lasts for weeks! Love the Nails by Linda gals! PS make an apt, they get busy fast.

Allyson Toy UPDATE (2/22/25) - got a snake design on my nails and absolutely love it!!! Vivian never disappoints!! Great prices and speedy service! The decor and aesthetic of the shop are mostly no frills, but the quality, value and speed of the service are great and far better than many other shops. I’ve been coming here for several years now and always get a gel mani with design. Vivian is a star, bangs out tricky designs in record time and always strives for perfection.

Daneca Villacorta I just got my gel mani this afternoon and I’m never going back. The actual manicure itself? Fine. She followed the length and shape I asked for and was gentle on my cuticles. Get ready for all the red flags. Red flag 1: When she was about to start my service she reached under the desk for her tray of tools (nail cutter, cuticle pusher, nipper) and they weren’t in a sealed autoclave bag. They were wet. Wet with what, I have no idea. Red flag 2: When she reached under the desk for a nail file, the one she took out looked used. Red flag 3: When she reached under the desk for the buffing block, the one she took out was OBVIOUSLY used and used heavily. Red flag 4: She never asked me to pick a color. I told her I wanted French tips, but not with white. It wasn’t till she had put down the base coat that she asked again what color I wanted and when I told her “maybe a dark red” she brought over 2 for me to choose from. Red flag 5: She used a small, thing brush to do the French tip. She took out the brush from a box labeled SOILED. She dunked it in a FULL BOTTLE of acetone, wiped it off on the towel under my hands and started on the tips. When she was done she dunked the brush in the bottle of acetone AGAIN and put it back in the soiled box. Red flag 6: Another client walked in for her pedi with Vivian (I distinctly remember the name), and Vivian took the towel that had been on the desk she just finished doing a mani on and put it under the new client’s feet. All of this for a mediocre $50 gel manicure. Stay away!

Amanda Bennett-Low Used to come here all the time before the pandemic when Ellen was running the shop. Theyve always been a good place for extensions and gel designs, with lots of extra decoration options like glitter and gems. Started going back recently and they have changed significantly. Ellens absence is very very noticable, because she always made sure everyone was taken care of and had high standards. They havent bothered to soak off my gel polish the last couple times I made an appointment. They just started drilling off the old polish. This last time was the final straw because I had made an appointment but after they removed my old polish and did the couple extensions for my broken nails they took 3 walk ins and I was left to wait for 20-30 minutes. No asking if I was ok with this or apologies. My tech acted exasperated when I asked for a specific design, which wasnt that technical. Working with her to get what I wanted has been a difficult and painful experience the last few times and I left without getting what I had wanted. Shes always nice at the end but that doesnt make up for the rest of the appointment. I paid full price ($120) but couldnt bring myself to tip the full amount because I felt so bad during my appointment. I went to get a birthday set done and that was not the five star experience I used to expect here.

Debi Cabrera Will be making this my go-to salon. Gel extensions done beautifully and fast with a regular pedicure at the same time. Sam did a wonderful job on my nails and 2 weeks later (second picture) they still look amazing. Ill be going in for a fill soon.

Jess D Stay away! This nail salon should be avoided at all cost! They use old, watered down polish and your manicure will chip within hours. Such a waste of my time and money. There was no one else in the nail son the entire hour I was there and now I know why. Worst nail experience of my life.

Bebi Pricing was not accurate to the board they had, nail tech made them chunky, uneven, and some nails were longer then the other, he also made them look outgrown. Not what I expected because the reviews were good and have 5 stars.

Ronisha Denise Pretty good service. I used to come here often for pedicures. However, I wouldn’t suggest a manicure here. My technician was rude and didn’t shape my nails the best. I won’t return here with my hard earned money.

Bridget Popham I live down the street from this salon and I have such a pleasant experience every time I’m there. Every staff member is super sweet and they work hard to make sure you feel pampered. It was someone’s birthday today and they handed me a slice of cake from the back!

Tammy Harden I flew in from Houston yesterday and had not gotten my nails done yet for a wedding. I was the first one there and got the ultimate pampering and well needed care. The ladies did an excellent job and I even met a few ladies and chatted the whole hour. Loved being back home in the Bay and this kicked off my day trip here. Thank you Ladies.

Marshall Jasmine (Jaz) Kim is a shady business person complaining about the black people not tipping that’s why all her techs left when really it’s her messing up designs and having to take another hour to fix it. She needs more training in doing nail designs and customer service. I try to support but I’m done. She like to play dumb and treat ppl bad and use language barrier as an excuse

Shana Kim My French gel manicure was good at first, but I noticed air bubbles in the French tip portion. Also, after a week, the gel started to chip on three fingers at the cuticles side, and its flaking off more and more now.

If you need to get your nails done, you have to come here! I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my nails ☺️

Anai Saucedo I went to get gel x manicure off and get a new color. The lady that helped me sanded down my nails to be paper thin and I told her on several occasions my nail bed felt on fire. My nail obviously broke because it was too thin. Two months of growing my nails and then this. This was about 60$. P.s. The color she used is amazing. But is not enough to counter the fact that my nail bent and broke as soon as I left.

Kristina Disappointed. They charge SO much money. I went in for a basic pedicure and it was over 60 bucks. Nothing special whatsoever and the result wasn’t even that great.. sort of chunky. They charge 10 bucks to take off old polish but they don’t warn you ahead of time. I went to a nail place in Noe valley that did 100x better and they charged 30 bucks. They also didn’t charge to take off my old polish. I used to come to this location all the time but now I won’t go back. Such a crazy rip off

They did a nice job with the polish and cuticles but completely ignored the bottom of my feet besides a light stone scrub. Gel full set was $70. Im a little disappointed in shape but besides that she was fast!! Also one of the only places I’ve found in the area that does acrylics

Pierrette I have been there a few times because its walking distance from where I live but its not great. Overall they are not doing a very good job. They are not very welcoming and the nail polish bottles look like they have been there for a tad too long. Last time I went there was bubbles forming on one of my nail as the nail polish dried. The lady saw and did nothing about it. I tipped only 10 percent as a result when I left and the lady seemed super upset that I didnt tip more. I wont be going back.

Sara Kamal I just wanted my dip nails off and the woman ended up tearing up my nails and I left with 2 exposed nail beds for $20. I’ve never had someone try to take off dip nails with a cuticle nipper before, so I had to ask for a soak off. And she still used the cuticle nippers and her nails to physically take off the dip and my fake tips which I never had experienced before. My nails look so rough now and the exposed nail beds are painful. I feel bad leaving a negative review maybe it was an off day for her but it was not a great experience. She did let me grab my take out which was nice but I still wouldn’t recommend this place to a friend.

Titi Envie This place have been in business for many years. I have been coming here more than 3 years and never disappointed with their service. I prefer to come on Sundays because it’s less busy. The place is clean, professional, friendly service and affordable.

Lauren Peterson The place is lovely and the manicure itself was ok but I showed a picture of beautiful light, pink chrome manicure and left with disco ball, glitter silver nails. Ill probably give them another shot, but Im incredibly embarrassed with what Im left walking around with over the next few weeks. I did try to express that the colors didnt match in any way after the first nail was painted and both the technician and the man at the front desk told me that it was the exact same as the picture Ill leave pictures below so you can see what Im talking about.

I get so many compliments on my nails and I give full credit to her! Everyone who I have interacted with there has been so sweet and welcoming. So happy I found this place!!

Gwen Valentine I got a gel mani pedi. The services were rushed and didn’t feel complete. My toes were fine but my gel manicure fell off after about 3 days leaving my natural nails in bad condition. I got chrome on top of the gel which started to chip day 2. Everyone there was kind but I won’t be returning due to the terrible retention.

Chelsea Hottovy pretty disappointed. i went in for a regular pedi & gel mani. the pedi smudged immediately. the mani is pretty bad—my nails are so thick now, like a powder dip but somehow worse. i had builder gel but i do not walk out of other salons like this. she painted the top of my nail too, somehow, and it’s already wearing off and looks terrible. plus, i showed them a fairly simple design and the execution looks childish. and to top it off, though i told her that she kept catching my fingers with the nail drill and also repeatedly said ouch and so forth, she just kept doing it and yes my fingers bled. this poor experience cost me $120 and i’m absolutely not going to repeat it.

Christina Serra My sister and I were in San Francisco for a week, and we looked up multiple nails salons in the area. After reading some reviews about aquatica nails, the one one that stood out was how long the acrylic lasted. We got there, and they were so sweet and courteous to us. The tech who did my nails did an Amazing job! I was so impressed at how beautiful they came out. She made it look like my nail. I was very satisfied and impressed with the outcome. Would definitely recommend anyone to go here. You will not be disappointed.

Charlotte Not the best neighborhoods and parking on Mondays is little tricky mid day with street sweepers but the studio was cute and clean and I was only one there middle of the day . The owner seemed really nice and did a good job on my nails . The other lady helping did miss couple of spots with the callus remover but I didn’t see it till I got home and can get it off later . Would recommend.

Rachel I was happy to find a nail salon near me that does intricate nail art. I’ve been twice for gel x extensions, and both experiences have been wonderful. I texted Sammi my nail inspo, and she delivered both times. Definitely gonna come back and try builder gel next.

Jessica Seid ill start with the positives -- clean salon, didnt smell like chemicals, and an appointment was readily available. the waxing i got was great, as was the esthetician who did it. but man, i got a super disappointing gel manicure that they then tried to overcharge me for with a service (builder gel? or something) i never requested. luckily the owner waived the upcharge but it shouldnt have happened in the first place since i was never informed, nor did i agree to it. i try to not make assumptions but my manicure was done by a gentleman who now very clearly is not properly trained in applying gel and how it needs to be correctly cured under a UV lamp. he destroyed one of my cuticles that bled for a long time, the rest of the nails didnt get much cuticle care, and just about every nails paint is cracked, and some paint jobs on my nails are sloppy. i cant return for them to fix it since i am now out of the country but ideally they could correct this with a partial refund. the shaping of my nails is the only nice thing about the manicure. i cannot recommend nail art sf from this experience.

MarMar Sings The Blues Malasay is great! I started seeing her years ago when she was at Nordstrom. She even has the chairs from the Nordstrom spa. They are so comfy, you can fall asleep during your service. This is the only place I go to for my pedicures. It’s a lovely room.

Annie CBR Mary is the best on the block! She took care of me the whole nine yards, from quality of service to customer service. Her hand and foot massages are super strong, gets right into those knots. She is a woman who values her work to the core. She made sure every nail was perfect before setting in under the light. Its almost as if shes painting a perfect picture with your toes! Cant forget to mention, she gave homemade delicious cookies and provided sparkling water to quench the thirst while I was pampered. Shes super friendly along with her whole team, all positive vibes with soothing background music. 10/10 would come back to her again!

Victoria Russo Staff were nice and friendly! I got a basic mani pedi with regular polish. I have had worse but also had better. My manicure felt rushed and was done at the same time as my pedicure on a pillow / with my hands held while sitting in the chair. It was a little uncomfortable. Didn’t feel like my cuticles were taken care of as well as places usually do, which is the main reason I go to a salon. My nails have already chipped / smudged less than 24 hours later and the edges are messy as if I did them myself. I’m sure if I got gel or acrylic sitting down at the table it would have been better and more comfortable. Good atmosphere and interior + nice staff otherwise! I liked that they had Essie gel regular polish because some salons here don’t and I don’t like actual gel/dip/acrylic bc it ruins my nails, but I probably won’t be going back

Meghan Hilbert I went here for my first time and loved the experience. They have a great color selection to choose from and they take their time. Mary, the owner, even gave me a bubbly water and homemade cookie while she did my nails. It had a great time and I will 100% be going back
