Jaspreet Kaur I loved coming to Blush because not only is it very nice/clean and the staff is exceptional, but the quality was unmatched! And I don’t mind the extra fees, deposit, and overall higher prices because the quality was unmatched. It didn’t feel like I was going to a “chop shop,” like a lot spas are like around Sacramento. I don’t know what changed but there has been a change in quality. I thought you know sometimes nails just want to come out nice but it’s been 3 times that the quality has been lacking. I pay extra for gel and thats not a problem. When I have gotten gel recently, for some reason it’s always lumpy. I thought it was my finger but it’s a different finger every time. It was the worst the last time. From far away it looks fine, but up close you can see the lumps and bubbles. I had gel on my nails previously, and there were bits and pieces from the previous manicure. Blush put the foil to soak one finger at a time and almost instantly, they started to take it off. It had not been long, but I thought she probably knows what shes doing. If they had just taken a little bit of extra time, I am pretty sure it wouldn’t feel and look lumpy.
I also understand charging for extra like designs and matte top coat I guess. I sent a reference picture to make sure they could do it or schedule me with someone that was able to but thats not what happened. I got swaying lines. Some lines are too thick or kind of bled around or faded with bubbles. And then Blush charges extra for matte top coat which is fine but at least the quality of the polish, if charging extra, is good. Next day it started peeling off. I cook and I can’t imagine that those specks got ingested somewhere. I have gotten matte before and never have I experienced that or heard of that happening. I admit when Blush does regular plain polish regardless gel or regular, they do a spectacular job but if you add anything else they seem like they are doing for the first time. But the thing is french tips is a normal style to get done but some of the staff can’t do that either. I ask for thin lines and I get the thickest block of white. But the thing is it has only been happening recently. What bothers me is that having good customer service and staff doesn’t cover up the lack of quality.
I have never made a review except when asked to and am upset that my first one had to be something so negative.
My photos aren’t great and you can’t really see the lumps because of how thick it is in general but you can see the matte peeling off, not so distinctly on other fingers but you can see it on the thumb for sure. I wish I took pictures of the previous ones too.

Lita C I called, no one picked up, instead I received a text message telling me in order to be serviced I had to put $20 down, there was a $5 "supply and demand fee," a guest of mine is not allowed, and all these other demands. It turned me off, and I reminded them that although they serve alcohol in their establishment, there is too much competition in the city for this nonsense. I have 94K views from my GoogleMaps reviews, so Im sure someone will find this one helpful.

J Shah We were visiting the area for a sports tournament that concluded early- we called the salon based on the reviews and the pictures of the salon. The phone call went unanswered BUT a text came in immediately with follow up. We got an appointment for 2 for a few hours later. To confirm the appointment, you have to Venmo $20/ service (all of this is explained in the text) I was having trouble with the phone service and managed to send half the amount after some time. They were gracious enough to text back and waive the required deposit since it was so close to the appointment time. When we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and taken care of immediately. The menu of services is clear cut and add-ons are plenty to suit your needs. I loved that you can pick the scent for your soak! We opted for a basic pedicure for 2 and a basic manicure and one gel manicure. The ladies who took care of us were pleasant, did their work well and we were done in little under an hour and a half. The ladies up front were nice and if we are passing by again, we’d definitely be back!
Oh - and they serve you a choice of drinks when you start service- champagne, wine, tea, coffee, soft drinks or juice!

This last visit, we did 3 pedicures and 1 manicure. Everyone is kind and efficient.
The environment is wonderful.
My manicure and pedicure have held up amazing.
I love it here - it is my go-to nail salon!
