The environment is full of positive energy. Everyone is laughing and they look happy to work there.
Hannah did my nails. She was so patient with me deciding on a color and was very gentle when it came to filing my nails.
I’ve had nail artists CUT my cuticles and I always leave with scratches and my cuticles hurting or sometimes bleeding.
But THIS place is the best, I will most definitely be coming back!!
Sactown Nail Spa - Sacramento Vicki Moua: I went this past Saturday on the 19, service was going well until she saw her client walk in and rushed the whole thing. Look at my toe nails already lifting on the sides after one day of doing them. Was service by Kayla. Not too many places Ive had gone too dont like doing acrylic overlay on toes. They will always try to convince me into getting gel polish instead. My first time doing an overlay on my toes. Feels amazing and light weight but the application is soo bad. Next time when you have an appointment with a client, please dont take it especially if you are going to rush it at the end.
GA Nails & Spa - Sacramento Melissa Bateman: Love love love my nails!! I been searching for a good nail tech for a few years now. Kevin is hands down the best. Everytime I come see him I am amazed. The designs and shape are on point. Bring him any design or nail shape and he will knock it out the park and make it look better then the picture.
Blush Nail & Beauty Bar - Sacramento Jaspreet Kaur: I loved coming to Blush because not only is it very nice/clean and the staff is exceptional, but the quality was unmatched! And I don’t mind the extra fees, deposit, and overall higher prices because the quality was unmatched. It didn’t feel like I was going to a “chop shop,” like a lot spas are like around Sacramento. I don’t know what changed but there has been a change in quality. I thought you know sometimes nails just want to come out nice but it’s been 3 times that the quality has been lacking. I pay extra for gel and thats not a problem. When I have gotten gel recently, for some reason it’s always lumpy. I thought it was my finger but it’s a different finger every time. It was the worst the last time. From far away it looks fine, but up close you can see the lumps and bubbles. I had gel on my nails previously, and there were bits and pieces from the previous manicure. Blush put the foil to soak one finger at a time and almost instantly, they started to take it off. It had not been long, but I thought she probably knows what shes doing. If they had just taken a little bit of extra time, I am pretty sure it wouldn’t feel and look lumpy.
I also understand charging for extra like designs and matte top coat I guess. I sent a reference picture to make sure they could do it or schedule me with someone that was able to but thats not what happened. I got swaying lines. Some lines are too thick or kind of bled around or faded with bubbles. And then Blush charges extra for matte top coat which is fine but at least the quality of the polish, if charging extra, is good. Next day it started peeling off. I cook and I can’t imagine that those specks got ingested somewhere. I have gotten matte before and never have I experienced that or heard of that happening. I admit when Blush does regular plain polish regardless gel or regular, they do a spectacular job but if you add anything else they seem like they are doing for the first time. But the thing is french tips is a normal style to get done but some of the staff can’t do that either. I ask for thin lines and I get the thickest block of white. But the thing is it has only been happening recently. What bothers me is that having good customer service and staff doesn’t cover up the lack of quality.
I have never made a review except when asked to and am upset that my first one had to be something so negative.
My photos aren’t great and you can’t really see the lumps because of how thick it is in general but you can see the matte peeling off, not so distinctly on other fingers but you can see it on the thumb for sure. I wish I took pictures of the previous ones too.
Empire Nail Spa - Sacramento tiara ford: I am having such a relaxing time right now. I was greeted promptly and warmly at the front door. Everyone is pleasant and they’re very quick. I’m still in the middle of my pedicure and fill at the moment but they are making my only day off in 3 wks feel well worth the drive from Reno. Special shout out to Diana for her open suggestions and care. It’s very clean too!
Monet Nails & Spa - Sacramento kaya nava: This is the only nail salon in Sacramento that I can be a repeat customer to and expect to get the same service every time they are always so friendly and they absolutely make the effort to get to know you and remember you for next time which is hard to come by nowadays no matter what sheep or style I want on my nails they always accommodate and find some way to make sure you are happy with the result I absolutely love everyone who works here. They all do great Nail art and I am definitely going to be loyal to this salon for the rest of my life because I have not seen this much consistency or customer care in any salon for the past few years.
Happy Day Nails & Spa - Sacramento Jajuan Jeffries: First off, i want to let everyone know i am a guy. I didn’t expect to come in and literally enter a spa but that’s exactly what this is by definition. You will be catered to, you will have extremely good customer service and you will receive more than the services you pay for. This is better than any Nail salon I’ve ever been to. Treated me and my wife like royalty this morning so I hope you all receive the same service. Amazing technicians, confident and experienced. Very very pleased with this unexpected visit.
Expo Nail & Spa - Sacramento Krystal L: Best service for price and longevity of nails. Because of work work I can only wear gel, I usually get 18-21 days with no chipping! I also add spa services added to my pedicures, and the extra money spent is worth it! Most relaxing nail shop I have been to in recent times.
Five Star Nails & Spa - Sacramento Neena: FIND ANOTHER PLACE!!! Called and requested for Angel since she was recommended by my eyebrow lady at the same place. I asked Angel to clean my cuticles while also getting a full set. Highly disappointed when she filed my nails all crooked and when I pointed them out Angel proceeded to tell me “yo eye just crooked the nail fine.” Mind you she made my nails all while wearing HUGE SUPER DARK SUNGLASSES INSIDE THE BUILDING!!! Not only would she stop midway but she decided it was more important to check her Facebook, text others, AND check pictures of other people on her phone during my nail appointment.
If you want to have crooked nails, be charged to the tee, be told your eyes are messed up when you point out the flaw then please go to her otherwise find someone else or go to a different nail salon all together. Definitely won’t be going to her EVER!!!
Passion Nails and Beauty - Sacramento Ari: I live nearby and decided to check out Passion Nails, and I’m so glad I did! My first visit was with my mom for pedicures, and the service was fantastic—everyone was welcoming and friendly. On my second visit, I brought a coworker; I got a full set while she opted for a manicure. Once again, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and relaxed. The salon has a cozy vibe and a great selection of nail colors. The team is not only skilled but also incredibly patient and attentive, creating a wonderful experience every time. I couldn’t be happier with my nails. Thank you for the beautiful work! I’ll be back soon!
