Maribel Lozoya Nice people but my nails looked awful after one day. I had dip done. The lady rushed and I had to go the next day to get them fixed as the top layer was peeling off. She agreed to only do 3 nails. Days to follow...well, they have continued to peel off. You can see pictures below. I decided a third time is not worth my time nor effort. I will simply write this review and not go again.

Lisette If I could give zero starts I would. One of the worst pedicures and manicures I received. I kept telling the lady if she could fix and clean them up and was getting eye rolls from her each time, oh and paid 99.00 for this service. Never will I go back. This is one day after my service.

Alexis Murshed I have finally found a technician that I consider excellent. I recently moved from the Bay Area to Fresno and have been in search of a good Nail Spa. I have tried 3 different shops and Venus Nail and Spa is the fourth. My previous technician was in San Jose and I had been with her for 15 years and she was just magical with her art of nails. I knew that I probably wouldn’t find anyone like that any time soon but I was so disappointed with the quality of Nail Spas here and on top of that, it’s much more expensive than the Bay Area. I guess that’s due to stiffer competition in the Bay Area but still, I was paying almost double here for less than half of quality. Okay, having said that I found my Unicorn at the Venus Nail Spa and to my surprise my new forever technician just started a week ago. Yay!!! She is excellent and my nails look natural again instead of a lumps camel back fake liking nails. Kelly is excellent and she listens. She was so patient with me as I did go on a slight rant of how disappointed I have been. She asked me what I was looking for and even asked if I had photos of how my nail was done in the Bay. She got it! I am now very happy and pray that she stays put. I highly recommend. UPDATE: 11/4/2023: I went back today to see Kelly as she recommended that I try removing my acrylic and try the Powder Dip onto my natural nails. I’ve had acrylics for over 15 years so I was a bit reluctant. Kelly assured me that if I don’t like it, then we can go back to the acrylics but the powder would be much lighter on my nails. So, I thought why not? So, Kelly patiently went through the process and I ended up with the results that really surprised me. I was afraid that my hands would look stubby but they actually look very natural. I took some photos and compared with my past acrylics and I totally love my powder dipped nails! I found a new way to have natural looking nails. Thank you again Kelly!

Nicole Chell honestly i would give 1 star but don is amazing, he didn’t do these nails it was a younger woman she looked angry the whole time, i just felt mistreated, kept hurting my nails and the nails look so wide in which i’ve never had my nails look like this, she was going quick and you can just tell she was doing it on purpose! it’s been two days and their already coming off do not come here unless you schedule w don honestly

Z C The lady that did my nails wasn’t that great. I felt she did better with solid colors than the French tip. My French tip was okay, but she didn’t use a clear or pinkish color to cover the nails before applying the white so my nails were lumpy on one side. It was a decent job but I wouldn’t go back. My toe nails were better. She only filed my toe nails on one side and didn’t file the other side. My sister also got her nails done by a different tech and she liked the result. Overall, the job wasn’t as messy as the other place I used to go to.

Pisces Energy They priced quite high for the service provided. I was charged $70 for a full set. I showed a photo of a glossy, milky white set with chrome french tips. She nodded her head and got to it. (Her and another worker were wearing masks and coughing up a storm, I felt bad they were working being that sick.) Well, cut to the point where it was time to do the chrome tip, she puts glitter on my nail and asks if I like it. I say no, I want chrome please, and I showed her the photo again. She put a different type of glitter on my nail and I said no, I want it just like the photo, metallic chrome french tip. And then she told me they didnt have that. I wouldnt have sat down in the chair to begin with it she wouldve told me from the start, when I showed her the photo, that she didnt have the product to do it. Eventually, she whipped out a silver polish and I settled for that since I was already about done with the set. I felt charging $70 was too much. I still tipped $7 because I felt bad she was working when she was clearly sick. No one should have to be doing that.

Michele Chastain I have been coming here about 5 years and the last 3 times, I wasnt given the option of which pedicure I would like. Im given the basic one. The pamphlet with the options should be given every time. I enjoy the longer massage. I like your establishment and the employees are great.

Heather Ishida Unfortunately I had a bad experience here despite the great reviews at Lisas. I came in for a gel manicure and called before I went in to make sure there was space for me. I got seated right away and there were several staff members available for services. The ambiance was nice and the space looked clean. The nail tech cut my nails very short and not all nails were cut straight. Every finger on my left hand was bleeding after the cuticle trimming. There is some polish on my skin around the nails. There are also gaps on some nails where polish was not completely applied. I felt really sad with this experience since I do not often get my nails done. Im sure my cuticles were more work since I dont typically cut them back, but I have had plenty of positive experiences at other nail salons. I didnt get the name of my nail tech. I wouldnt come here again, although there seemed to be many other nail techs available who may complete their work differently. I hope others have a better experience.

Secret Prescott I’ve been coming to Lisa’s nails for five years and I have never been disappointed. The service is always five star and they just did an upgrade in the shop. They have new chairs. Everything is brand new. Please come to the shop to support if you’re ever on the east side I drive all the way from Selma just to come here thank you, Lisa nails. oh, I forgot Tammy is the one that does my nails!

Patricia Gomez Hollys husband does my pedicures every time Ive been there. There is some what of a language barrier. Ive noticed that the last few times after Ive left the establishment and had a chance to take a good look at my pedicure, it seems that the entire nail is not completely polished. Its my fault for not looking before I leave the place. If I do decide to return, I will take a better look to make sure it doesnt happen again. I go there because its conveniently located. They seem to be a nice couple.

Anita Sharp I had a great experience at Hollys Nails & Spa! The business is immaculate-not a speck of dust anywhere. When you walk in you are greeted immediately, and surrounded by the sounds of soothing music. Seriously-it made me want to take a nap! The staff is very friendly & professional. There are cold sodas & water available if you would like one. The prices are great, & I felt completely pampered after my pedicure. There is a dizzying number of polish colors to choose from. Ive just found my new go-to place for all things nails!

lolla saad I got the deep cleaning pedicure with massage and hot towel. JENNIE was so amazing ☺️and friendly. I was instantly served as soon as I arrived. She applied this beautiful color and I wanna come again for french style. I highly recommend the place.

Amanda Roe Edit to add* It’s only been two weeks and my nails have chipped in multiple places. I’ve gotten acrylics for over 5 years at this point and have never had such poor quality. Genuinely awful product I was so excited after seeing the other great reviews but my experience fell short. I’ve been twice, and both times I was cut by the nail tech. I have gotten an acrylic fill by two different techs, thinking the first time was a one-off situation but nope. They don’t have many color options for gel, and when I didn’t like the first color I picked on my nail (one nail for sample) I asked for another orange color and instead the tech brought me a pink option that wasn’t even close to what I asked for. Sure it’s one of the more affordable places, but you get what you pay for.

Sean Myers I been coming here for months now You guys do a great job with both pedicures and nails, I came once & since then I been coming back for my full sets & fill ins! My best advice for new customers is to go right when they’re open because it can get very busy & I always get treated very well and have friendly conversations with the kind lady’s there. Elsie Yalitza Macias I feel generous just by giving them a 2 star rating, more out of pity and due to the bit of decency in the service provided. For starters, the moment I walked in, I showed a picture of what I wanted my nails to look and if it was possible to have something similar done, I was told they could. After waiting for about 30min. A gentleman called me to his station. Once again I showed the picture on my phone, he proceeds to agree he can do this. He starts on my nails, pretty messy, as the acrylic overflows he cleans it with his nail which has a cluster of acrylic almost callus. As he starts trying to put polish I ask if hes going to shape my nails, he says he doesnt know how. Ok thats fine. I just ask he square the edges up a bit. Next is the polish, he starts painting all the nails the same color, I ask if he plans on doing the leopard print on top of the polish, he says oh no he doesnt know how to do that. -?!?&@@??!$&@? I ask that he stops, and if he can get someone who does know to help him. He raises his voice and asks everyone in that salon. They all nod their head and say no. Im furious at this point, so I ask if theres anything he can add so my nails arent so bland, he suggested black diamond looking gem, I agree (not knowing Id be charged extra). He finishes, Im completely dissatisfied. Then he charged me $40!! Im in shock, I ask for some sort of discount due to the poor work that was done. Nothing at all was able to be done. I pay the $40 and leave. Never again will I go here, nor would I recommend it, if the error would have somehow have been corrected somehow I would have been content. However there wasnt, and for this I give them such bitter review. Now that I relive this horrid experience I feel inclined to retract my generosity and give them 1 star.

Risa Martinez Place came highly recommended by a friend and they saw us quick...but the customer service was terrible. The guy that did my nails was rough and caused 3 of my fingers to bleed and didnt seem to care. When I brought it up he proceeded to clean my finger roughly with alcohol which made it bleed more. One of my nails isnt centered and then he was very rude when I chose not to tip at the end. Like dude Im not gonna tip for you butchering my cuticles! You could see where he cut deep....I have issues with this place.

Ka Vang This is probably my 3rd time coming to this place. I really liked it because this was my first time my nails had ever stayed for soo long. Unfortunately, my last visit was such a bad experience. The last time I visited this shop was maybe on Tuesday of last week (04/02), I only did pedicure. I had a guy who worked on my toe nails. So as he was doing my nails, he was taking off the old gel polish since I had pink ones from before. I’m assuming when he was filing or trying to take off the old gel polish, he chipped one of my nail off. At first, I didn’t feel any pain until he started putting the wax and gel to my feet. I started feeling a sharp pain and I told him that I’m feeling a sharp sting to my left feet. He didn’t understand because there was a language barrier between us. As he was taking the wax off, I notice my two feet to the end of my left nail was lifting up. I just thought maybe it was my dried skin lifting up from the wax. As he was cleaning my nail, I notice he didn’t tried chipping it off. I thought my view was different from where he is looking at so maybe it’s me. After he was done with my nails, I see that there was a little bump on the bottom of gel. And again, I just thought he didn’t do a good job on the gel. And yes, when I was walking, it did hurt too. And ofcorse, I had experience incidents before where my skin or nail was cut too deep and I thought maybe he cutted my nails somewhere or massages my feet to hard that it’s probably just sore. So today (04/09) a week later, I noticed that that toe with the bump was still bleeding. It’s not bleeding a lot but it just looks like water mix with a little of blood. So I decided to take a look at it closer and notice the gel that was on top of my toe was already lifting. So as I was lifting the gel, I notice I didn’t even have any nails anymore on that toe!!! The nail tech probably tried covering where he took off my nails with the gel on top of it. So disappointing!! This is probably my last time getting my nails done here. ***You can also see little dried blood to the very left toe too on the picture.

Kalyn Garcia Ms Eme (M E) has done my nails twice now. Absolutely LOVE her work. Very gentle on hands grip, rotation. And has done wonderful on shaping too. While I didn’t change much design wise this 2nd time (1st pic). She understood my desire an goal.

Cassidy Conroy Cons: Dirty salon. My nails were filed too thin and burned badly when acrylic was applied (before gel polish/UV). Tech only used her nails to push back my cuticles and it hurt. Left with glue all over my fingers. Sat me at the kids table? Pros: My tech was quiet and friendly, I was helped quickly. Nails turned out looking good. Left wishing I had a better experience. Will be going somewhere else next time.

I came in with a mess of a set and Tiffany was so kind and skilled, she took her time explaining to me what she’s going to do to fix it and she really delivered. I left so happy! L DeeLyia (Dandelions) For a person with healthy nails. I absolutely hate it when the tech does not respect that you have a naturally long nail bed. My technician kept separating my skin from my nail bed and filing it until my skin separated like 1mm. This hurts and now I have weird short looking nail beds. The side profile appears like my nails are lifting off which is not attractive. Never going there again.

Victoria Sanchez Highly recommended Linda she the girl to ur right when you walk in. She sits in the first table by the window! My nails never pop off, the shaping is well done with no bumps or left over residue from glue or powder acrylic! She so good at it you will be in and out in no time!

Nymph Jellyfish (Ranmaru) The employees are welcoming and the prices are great, but I wouldnt go there again. They were not busy when I came and the service seemed too laxed. First, I got a pedicure. It was quick and barely any soaking. The scrubbing was so brief and light that I didnt even realize I got a scrubbing done. Next, I got my nails done and usually, from what Ive seen, a manicure is usually included, but I didnt get that. This part was probably the one part I was most disappointed in. My nails were slightly crooked so I have to go buy a filer to fix it, there are some solid chunks under my nails and the tip of my fingers from the powder building process, and the nail drill also cut a bit into some of my finger nail fold. I think, based on observation, I should be able to buy my own kit and do my nails on my own. Lastly, I got my eyebrows and lips waxed. This was the only okay part for me.

Cleopatra Anne They always do a great job! They are very careful and the gel manicures last a long time. They dont rush which I love because they always get my nail shape right. I highly recommend this place.

Xpress 1 M. My tech is absolutely AMAZING! My nails have never looked better! She got the coffin shape right on point. Shes very amicable and easy to talk to. Honestly such a beautifully talented nail technician. Love!

Holly Simpson Jason was really great. Im using a walker now because of back surgery. He helped me in and out of my sear, even walked me to my car. He gave me a perfect pedicure. His massaging my calves and feet really helped with pain I had. He was very gentle and I liked his soft singing to himself. I will ask for him again.

Diana Saldana It’s an alright nail salon, they offer acrylic, gel, eyebrow wax, pedis, from what I seen. I gotten my nails done about three times here, thought I’ll give it a try since my nail tech is out of state. Okay shaping, some were bumpy others were smooth to the touch. Price is about 50+ for new set and 40+ for refill. They do walk ins as well, usually busy after 4pm. If busy it’s a 30+ min wait. Reason I stopped going is because they don’t soak off your nail like they should to avoid damaging your natural nail instead they get a fake nail and go between the acrylic and natural nail to take it off which is a big no no for me and it upsets my nails.

Samantha Kimber I love this salon! Even if you walk in, they’ll accommodate ASAP. Every time I’m here they are sweet, fast, the prices are good, and my nails are always cute no matter who does them.

Jocelyn Paz The nail tech cut me and the cut is very deep. It wouldn’t stop bleeding on the seat and is still bleeding after hours. I made sure to get an antibiotic ointment but now I’m worried about an infection. I would not recommend.

Love my nails, the gel lasts nicely! 5/2022 update - Im updating my review from one year ago because the last two times that Ive been there recently including today have been great. The two techs that serviced me were very gentle and did a great job with my nails (I went from acrylic to gel because my nails are so thin) and the gentleman that did my nails was very delicate when filing them, I didnt feel any discomfort at all - super grateful

Heidy Lomeli I am very disappointed in this location. Although most employees are very friendly, I had a very poor experience. John grew frustrated when asking him questions about the color options. He immediately called another employee to continue to work on my nails stating “I don’t have time” continuously. He then walked away shaking his head and came back after a minute. He sat on his chair and continued to be very passive aggressive as another employee stood next to my chair. I calmly communicated to him that his tone and form of communication is not ideal for a small business. I simply had questions, just like any other client would. I felt very uncomfortable. I opted to not continue, but they also didn’t remove my tips. John moved on to take another client. Turns out he had time after all. The location is beautiful and my husband had a great experience. I just thought it was important for me to highlight my personal experience.

Michele Hodgkiss I’ve gone to 7 different nail salons since I’ve been back to Fresno. This hands down is the best. I had a great relaxing pedicure. Clean and quiet atmosphere, no acrylic smell The massage chairs are great!

Crystal Baltierra The quality of nails does not match how much they charge. I took my daughter in for nails, she got almond shaped nails, with a simple blue polish and 2 stars on each nail. When we went to pay they said we owed $75. I questioned the price and they said it was $45 just for the nails and shaped, an additional $10 for polish and $20 for the design. I attached a picture of what my daughter got. I definitely will not be going there again. On my way home I stopped by an actual nail tech and she was appalled by how poor quality and crooked the nails are. She said she charges $80 for nails and that includes design. She showed me her designs and they are amazing. She said it looked like someone new to nail school or a kid did my daughter’s nails.

Amy Martin Tommy is the best! I am very loyal to this establishment because I used to have to go to the podiatrist to help with my ingrown toenails. Not anymore! Tommy does an excellent job in cutting my toenails (and making them beautiful) so that I dont have the problem anymore!

Brenda H I came in expecting a really nice pedicure. The pedicure menu isnt very detailed. I got a citrus deluxe gel pedicure, $55. It seems like a very basic package. Service was good, but I dont think i would come again. The salon looks really nice but the pedicure chairs were HORRIBLE. Thats why I put 2 stars. It was so hard to get in and out of the chair. I dont know if the chairs have the ability to move forward and backward, but I felt so uncomfortable. Thats something they need to consider, better pedicure spas.

C R Went in for a hard gel mani. I already had a hard gel mani but they were grown out ( my usual nail girl is on vacation so I decided to try this place out) these are my natural nails and I decided to go shorter. Since my nails were grown out and shaped as an almond, they charged me an extra $10 since they had to file them down and its now considered a "shape change." Apparently the girl in the front also didnt tell the guy I wanted a mani so he only went around and cut my cuticle after he put polish on, he didnt even push it back. Lol. In all I got stuck with some thick nails and paid $63 for this. Wouldnt recommend for hard gel manis and wont be going back.

Parker Pokorny I had a pretty decent experience at this nail salon, but I do have some mixed feelings. The service itself was fine, and the staff was friendly, but one of the technicians got a bit too argumentative when I chose my nail color. Instead of offering suggestions or collaborating on a compromise, he seemed frustrated and even rolled his eyes when we didnt see eye to eye. It left me feeling a bit uncomfortable. My nails do look okay, but I wouldve appreciated a more professional attitude.

Bianka Perez i’ve came to this place multiple times and the service is amazing. kloe does wonders with pedicures and always makes sure we get the best of our appointments. there was a rude customer that overegaggerated in the salon and the receptionist handled it very professionally. other than that it’s worth every penny.

Thomas Little Been here a few times and they’ve done this each time. So today I just walked out. You walk in ask don’t have any openings. Yes yes you sit down we get station ready. 10 minutes later go to chair 7. Then you sit in chair 7 for 20 minutes nobody comes. If you’re busy be honest say we have a 30 minutes later wait do not lie.

Elaina R I’m really sad about the acrylic manicure I got here. I’m not sure about the name of the woman who did my nails, (I think it was Yvonne) she actually cut me twice on 2 separate fingers. She cut my pointer finger and opposite ring finger really bad and was so rough when filing that my fingers are sore. She didn’t do any grooming like trimming hang nails or lotion or anything like that. I paid $68 and honestly I wish I would have spoken up about the price considering she cut me 2 times. I loved my pedicure and the woman who did it, Nadine, was so nice but I’m not sure I’d come back again.

Ashli Watson I wasn’t sure about getting the nail design I wanted but I put my faith into my nail guy Sun, every place I have been to said they couldn’t do the design I wanted but Sun said he would try it for me and they are the best nails and design I have ever gotten done my entire life of getting my nails done. I would recommend anyone and everyone to go get their nails and toes done at Forum Nails and Spa

Janae Aragon One of the worst manicures I’ve ever gotten. When you come in they immediately look at you side ways and give off a really unwanted presence. I showed the lady what I wanted, she didn’t even look at the picture and just nodded her head. The way my nails came out you’d think a kid did them.

Maichit Yang Poor quality for a gel manicure! She got red polish all over me and blamed me saying I wasnt careful enough! This place is unsanitary and the prices are high for what it is. Will not be returning

Ana Gomez They are super nice. You dont need appointment. They have razonable prices. I would recommend this place. I did manicure and pedicure. After the pedicure, they give you a nice massage on your legs. They have everything clean.

Casey Bermuded Full set acrylic 2 Days later two fell off they were super thin that the tips even just broke off wouldnt recommend give them a second chance and they did the same thing Im paying for a full set not a half set not happy at all Im not sure how theyre even still in business with this happening to so many people I see

Jackie A Save yourself the money and time and don’t come here. I’ve been going here for years but this was my last time. See photo below for photos. Asked for a polish French and they rushed through: the polish was clumping and uneven as I sat for the recommended time. The nail tech removed an ingrown nail from my toe without my consent. Further, nail techs are generally not licensed or qualified to make this kind of removal. The same man scrapped underneath my nail so hard I almost jumped out of my seat. Finally, the hygiene practices here are awful. Techs use their bare and long nails to scrape the sides of polish or gel off your nails or if they do wear gloves, they touch your feet with gloves, then touch other items they use on ever client line the tub of sugar scrub thrown in an a baby formula tub. Finally, I asked about the 15% off attached to the business information on google - they didn’t honor that discount. Goodluck to anyone who goes here! :)

Sheree Northern I had my nails done for my granddaughters wedding. The person I was sitting with didnt speak English so my communication with him was never acknowledged. The tips were too narrow and he then cut the sides to save him from filing. I asked him to stop after protesting and insisting he STOP! His acrylic application technique was amateur at best and I wanted them off and another nail technician. Three and half hours later I finally left with something that was not worth what it cost in money and my time. Sort of embarrassing for me at the wedding. I wont be back to Diva.

Ruth Anne Lozano Nothing worse than getting your nails done and getting upset every time you look at them. I came in for a simple acrylic overlay; my index finger acrylic had popped off so that needed to be fixed as well. If I’m paying $40 to get my nails done I expect the shape to be the same.. I had to ask the gentleman to fix the shape repeatedly until I ultimately had to walk out with them looking like this. I wish I had gone somewhere else. I have to go home and completely file and reshape my nails myself. I can find better service somewhere else: Luxor nails is down the street off Maroa and Shaw, you’re better off going there honestly.

Adisyn Brunson PLEASE READ ALL OF IT The service was absolutely terrible. By far the worst salon i’ve been to. Within the first five minutes the girl doing my manicure cut my finger open. I get it mistakes happen and i wouldn’t care but she was hiding my finger as if i didn’t know she cut it open. After scrubbing the blood off roughly with a towel it was still bleeding so she put super glue on it. While all as this was happening she was still trying to hide it and kept spraying it with hydrogen peroxide. After messing up three times she finished. By this time she knew i noticed my finger and pulled me in a whisper “DO NOT TELL YOUR MOM I CUT YOU” since i am underage and went there with my mom. When i was done i sat by my friend as the another lady did her nails. As we were talking, respectfully not disturbing others, the lady yelled at my friend “STOP TALKING”. She always cut my friends finger and put a futile oil filled with fragrance all over the cut. Out of all three of us my mom had the best experience but even then after telling multiple people what color she wanted multiple times they still picked a different color to do on her.

michelle kosmosky Got in right away as a walk-in. The nail tech I had was really good and the leg massage was amazing and the pedi itself looked great... the only thing that ruined the experience was rudeness of the woman sitting behind the reception desk when I went to pay for the service. When I asked if it was X amount to clarify the dollar amount for service, she snapped "yeah" almost like she was put out...I teach high school freshmen and many of them have more respect than what I was shown. I will be back because the season is clean, and the techs do their jobs well, but lady, your reception and customer service need improvement 10/18/24 UPDATE: Had another fantastic pedi and no one at the front desk to give attitude-transaction was handled by my nail tech-wish I had gotten this name!
