Eray Jahan After seeking the expertise of over 20 dentists for the surgical extraction of my wisdom tooth, I was met with frustration as they all offered appointments no sooner than two months away. Thankfully, I stumbled upon Dr. Kevin Vu, who not only accommodated me with a same-day appointment but also skillfully performed the challenging surgery with utmost professionalism. I can confidently say he is an outstanding and highly competent doctor. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Kevin Vus services to everyone in need of dental care. I am so impressed with his abilities that I would give him ten stars if I could, but unfortunately, five stars will have to suffice. Thank you, Dr. Vu, for providing such exceptional care and service!

Aaron Meyers Treats his medical patients like theyre scum. Is very stingy with the anesthetics probably to try and save a buck. Office looks run down and dark. Obviously a penny pusher in ways that hurt his patients and make them feel uncomfortable. If it was only me that felt this way then I would rethink it, but this exact same thing happened to my friend with the same doctor. What he is doing is malpractice. And God forbid you have medi-cal, youll be treated like an animal. Me and my friend are looking into legal actions to stop this guy from treating his patients like cattle. Again he shows obvious signs of malpractice towards patients. Go somewhere else if you want to be treated like a human being. While he tries to get as many patients done as possible in the day to make the most money he can, he is rushing and hurting his patients in the process. Selfish, inhumane "doctor".

Aiden Pham I was skeptical at first, but then Dr. Vu did his thing. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. I went to a different dentistry who was very reputable, and they recommended to do operation on one of my tooth. Dr. Vu said otherwise. He was insisted that it was not that tooth. Turns out he was right. This man has saved me a bunch of money for his precision. I highly recommend this place.

Isabel Emigdio Amazing experience and one of the most genuine and gentle dental offices I’ve ever been to. My past dental visits at other places have left me terrified of going back but I recently started going here and the experience I had left me wanting to come back and extremely satisfied. They really do tell you exactly what you need and help you in many ways that you didn’t think you needed. They truly care for their patients and are very gentle and sweet with you. They will not hide anything from you and will truly treat you with the best care!

Anton Naperstak Maria G Villar does good job on fillings and crowns as they fit well and stay in place for a long time and I do not have problems with them. I have many crows which were put there to stay over 10, 15 even 20+ years. Also Lian -- the hygienist does a very good and thorough job deep cleaning my teeth. The teeth and the gums feel much better than before. She also explained the benefits of oral hygiene and provided products to prevent re-occurrence of gum infections.

Ulisses Feres Terrible service. My wife got home crying a lot because she went there and they catch her with a better price than other dentists. After she paid for the start they pretend that you have more things to do and they double charge her. If you dont want, you will lose the your payment without them starting. She waited almost a month for the appointment with so much pain and after go there we figure out that they are scammers. Id rather believe in a more expensive dentist than fall for this scam and pay double. Now she a double teeth pain and probably will need to wait more than a month to schedule a real good dentist. Please be aware of this clinic. It was very frustrating for us that they didnt refund the money paid. We will sue them so this doesnt happen to more people. And remember that they ask always for cash (saying that you will have a good discount) just so you dont open a credit card dispute and also, they can avoid taxes (they didnt give her the invoice). Its a mess.

Kass Torres I was super anxious about the dentist, I avoided it for years. The staff here is very kind, helpful, and welcoming and made coming in to my appointments a breeze. I have gotten a lot of work done here, im very happy with the dentistry work as well. My smile is cleaner and my teeth healthier than before.

The staff is patient with our needs and help us during difficult times. Luna, at the front desk is wonderful. We appreciate her gentle nature and attention to detail.

Optometric Center Almaden Family (AFOC) I took my parents to see Dr. Jim Chen. My parents both have implants from abroad and they are elderly and have issues eating. I emailed and texted his office and his receptionist was so kind and patient as she knew I was worried and needed help. They alway replied right away which took the stress of. They answered all my questions with great details and were very transparent with their charges. It really put a peace of mind on my parents as they are retired. We are so thankful that we got an appointment right away. It was a very nice office and the front desk receptionists were very kind at check in. We were quickly brought into the exam and met Dr. Chen. Dr. Chen is so kind, professional and thorough with my parents exam entire time we were there. My mom said she never had a dentist who talked to her like how Dr. Chen talked to her that made her and her mouth feel comfortable every moment at the dentist visit. She is 72 so she has seen many dentists in her life! Dr. Chen explained to us every step of the way to allow us to understand my moms problems and fixed them right away on the same day! My dad shared with Dr. Chen what bothered him and Dr. Chen took my dad in and we are just so incredibly grateful for him and his team. My parents and I feel so lucky that we found Dr. Chen as you can tell that he cares about his staff and patients greatly by the way he talks. Thank you Dr. Chen!

Alan Le The receptionists are rude and very unprofessional. They also charge you $50 if you cancel your appointment.

Anna Marie Cruz Ive had some pretty major dental issues for several years and its been a challenge to find a dentist I felt comfortable with to take care of my situation. Dr Chen and his staff are spectacular -- its now close to 3 years and I couldnt be happier with the care Ive received. Great with patient care, Dr Chen makes sure excellent care is given and "checks in" during procedures for pain management. Special shoutout to Omar who coordinates appointments going over and above when I moved out of state but would fly in to finish procedures -- he sets the standard high!

Sophia Valencia I also took my 6 year old daughter, for cavity fillings, and Cecilia told me that she needed 3 crowns, and this and that, at the end when she told me the amount it summed up for thousands of dollars, having her dental insurance that covers most of it or all. It was a ripoff, they over charge you. Cecilia is a total liar and a scammer!. Dont go there. And they dont know how to treat kids properly, they dont have patients with kids. This place doesnt deserve any stars!

Anaid Mireles If I could, I would leave negative 20 stars. This place is a total scam DO NOT GO THERE! They will tell you, you have cavities and you need this and that but you actually DO NOT NEED IT! Be careful all they want is your money. They did it to my mom, she’s been coming to Dr.Chen for 10+ and never seems to finish working on her front tooth. Who needs 10 years to work on one tooth? It’s been back to back errors and all they do is fake a smile and make up lies and excuses to why they keep messing up. I will be requesting all medical records and have my boss husband (a real good dentist) review everything and examine her. If I find out all he did is take advantage of her I WILL BE HIRING AN ATTORNEY!!!!! I will continue to post everything and document everything to save everyone else from this place. Also, be careful with Cecilia, she will say anything to calm you down but that doesn’t really do anything to really help you. Adding: my cousin also had a consultation and was told he had 10 cavities, when he went in for second opinion with another dentist he only had three. Hmm m. I will have him also request those results and compare them and also have that as proof that all they want is your money!!!!!

Enon Clark What a hidden gem! Dr. Chen and Dr. Le are very knowledgable and highly skilled. The staffs are also very friendly and helpful. Most importantly, the price is very reasonable compared to other clinics. I would highly recommend if you need a check up or any dental works done.

Jahnvi Ahya I was living in San jose and started seeing Dr Shah for my regular cleaning appointments. She convinved me to get invisalign. After few years, we moved to different location (almost 30-40 mins away) and so I started seeing another dentist. However, I still has to visit dr Shah for my retainers. I visited first time ( after almost 1 year) but she was not interested in checking anything and just wanted to make money from my visit and ordered new retainers without knowing what was my problem. I had been suffering from gum pain because of retainers and my new dentist asked me to get check for retainers and alignment etc. My pain still continued so I booked another appointment, they gave me appt for 9 am, they make me wait for 30 minutes and then she sent her assistant to get xray. I said no to xray because I got it before 2 weeks with different dentist but no she didnt want to check that because again wanted to make money from this visit ( and my insurance didnt cover xray again after 2 weeks). She didint even check what was the problem and asked for xray. When I said no, she came to me and said I have another emergency appointment ( ofcourse more money) so she had to priortize that and asked me to wait for next 30 minutes so total 1 hr after my appointment time. I had very poor experience with this behaviour and since I was not her regular patient, she was not even interested in checking. Would not recommend this place.

STARS10 I will start by providing short history lesson, so here it goes: I have been working with my dentist for several years and abruptly found out one day that practice (including patients) was sold to current owners. I have visited Dr. Vandana Karia twice and both times felt that provided treatment was bit rushed in comparison to my previous dentist. I am waiting few days to see how well the fillings were done and then determine whether I will return for future treatments. 11/19/17 My subsequent visits to Dr. Karia have improved significantly. The whole staff is very professional and takes good care of you. So far my experience with this practice is good and hopefully it stays that way.

Justin Smith Dr. Nguyen and her team have provided quality dental care to my family for years. I highly recommend their dental practice. Both my daughter and I had our smiles completely aligned and restored by their treatment. They also provide cleaning services, fix cavities with modern dental imaging and techniques. I had an old implant with no records, and Dr. Nguyen went the extra mile to track down the exact match for the hardware! They are always concerned about patient comfort and do a thorough job. I have had a lot of dental work done, and their office provides top notch service.

Vanetia Johnston Dr. Tina Nguyen has provided excellent dental care for my son, and she also took care of his braces. She was very careful to take care of his dental health needs while he had braces, and the results of her care were excellent. The staff at the front desk are also very helpful and welcoming. We have been very happy with Rose Park Dental, and I would highly recommend Dr. Nguyen to others wanting high quality dental care.

Discounts C Dr. William does a good job of explaining things in simple, easy-to-understand terms. However, he charges upwards of $80 just to write a prescription, which feels excessive. The most disappointing aspect, though, was the outdated X-ray equipment at his clinic. The machine seems to be from the early 1900s, and the X-ray images we received were incredibly unclear. Typically, dental X-rays should show the entire tooth, from the crown to the root, but his images didn’t even capture the roots. When we showed these X-rays to several other dentists, they all deemed them non-diagnostic and unusable. Based on this experience, I wouldnt recommend his services to friends or family.

Arturo Moroyoqui I love Dr. Nguyen at San Jose Dental Care. He’s very conservative with your teeth. He prefers to preserve your natural tooth rather than extracting it or doing root canals. That’s made me feel really comfortable with him and I trust his expertise. I have 5 crowns from past dentists but this dentist has always done right by me. I was due for a cleaning in November but my insurance wouldn’t cover it due to a maximum on the benefits used last year. Dr. Nguyen still checked my teeth just to make sure there wasn’t any pressing issues and told me to make an appointment for January so my insurance could cover the cleaning. He’s the best dentist I’ve ever had.

Bianca Overall, upbeat staff. However, I had a terrible experience with Dr. A and her assistant. Most of the time I was uninformed about the care I was receiving until either it was the last minute or I asked. And I wouldnt have known what to even ask had I not done me own research. Ive never had to advocate for my own health so hard the way I did with Dr. A, mainly because she was more interested in doing what she wanted instead of being clear on my options and endorsing my autonomy over my own healthcare. She came off as passive aggressive and pushy. I couldnt wait to finish my time there.The other doctors seemed caring and well-skilled, though.

Katy Martin At first you think "fun dental care," isnt that a oxymoron? But, It certainly IS fun to book an appointment in a reasonable amount of time, be seen at your appointment time, get a thorough cleaning / x-rays / exam in a timely manner, and all knowing its covered by insurance or knowing about the upfront costs. This is my second time to this clinic, and I will certainly be back!

Jennifer Le DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE! My niece went here for orthodontist treatment. We were constantly neglected, and ended up having to find a new orthodontist who made an initial report about the awful conditions and procedures of the Dr. Virays work and we had to seek legal counsel and are in the process of suing South Bay Dental Center! My niece needed to go to therapy and medical centers due to her pain and stress this place had caused her! They also never refunded us for treatment that I paid in full after I asked for a partial refund for the remaining treatment since we were not going there anymore. However, the office manager refused and said it was against their policy so we had to seek legal counsel for damages and negligence.

Kris Bright I LOVE the Office Staff at this Berryessa location! The girl there who always has a massive smile on her face is amazing! She is the main reason I go here! She always is incredibly friendly and always goes out of her way to help me with payment arrangements, helping with my insurance, and she always remembers me by name! She seems like she is the main front desk(Im not sure what her title is) associate as everyone always asks her for help but Im so bad with names. :( One of the other reviews has a picture of her wearing a hat with one of the patients. If you get lucky enough to have her help you, she will delight you with great conversations and fantastic customer service. They are open on the weekends(O.O so incredibly rare among dentists) and are always amazing at helping me schedule an appointment during a time that works for me. Dr. Hilo is very good at communicating with me while he works.

angie plumeau Come in with good insurance, they will max you out, with little (or no) explanation. (Dont do it). Comparable to Western Dental. Would say they are more used to Dent-ical or government funded programs. Very Unprofessional correspondence with front office staff from their personal phones. Be careful with this, as the dentists they work for arent seeing those texts, probably. Furthermore, the staff person Gretel, took on in a personal text that since mine was a "simple extraction", (2 teeth) she could not understand a request for Motrin. Im not sure the dentist ever saw the correspondence with her personal texts. I had planned on having my teeth replaced by them, she blew it for them, the receptionist. $$

Truc Mai Dr. Hien is AMAZING with kids. My squeamish daughter had a shot to fill cavities and I didnt hear a single peep or complain. My youngest son was crying and uncooperative at first, but she worked her magic and actually was able to fill his cavities as well. This is a boy who wouldnt even let the doctor check his ear. Highly recommend her alone on her dedication to her patients and explaining in simple terms their dental conditions. Ability to work with kids is icing on the cake!

Tam Mai My preferred Dentist because her staff is very professional, they follow up, and everyone is really good with kids! They speak Vietnamese, Spanish, and English.

Michael Ho Dr. Hien Nguyen is awesome and very good with kids. Hien and her staff are well prepared with toys for my toddler and kindergartner -- so my kids have actually asked, "when are we going to the dentist again?"

Matthew H Pham Dr. Steven Han Le is very knowledgeable; he can come off as maybe abrasive, but he seems to truly care for his patients. Coming from a lower income background, Dr. Le had no hesitation in seeing and treating me with care. After my wisdom teeth removal, Dr. Le gave me a list of recommendations and also called to check up on me hours after the procedure to ensure that everything was okay. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. They have two locations - one in Milpitas and one in San Jose. I’ve been to both locations, and both are excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Le And New World Dental.

Jessie Nguyen Dr. Steven Le is an admirable dentist. He tells entertaining stories about his undergrad experience and encourages me to pursue my passion. He’s highly skilled, focuses on little details, and listens to his clients’ concerns. Overall, I am super happy with the care he provides for my oral health.

Luvv Ashhley I’ve been going to Premier Dental Practice for over 10 years, ever since I was a kid. My aunt introduced us to Dr. Camtam, and I’m so grateful she did. She is amazing at what she does, and I always enjoy our conversations. I’ve always been afraid of needles, but she somehow manages to make every procedure completely painless. That’s why I love Dr. Camtam, and my whole family does too, her work truly speaks for itself! Very accommodating and always great customer service!
