Aarisha Dental - Jolly Shah DDS SJ - San Jose Anju Prakash: My family and I have had Dr. Shah as our dentist since 2011. One thing that makes her a unique dentist is her attention to our gum health.
In other dentist offices, you will find that the dental hygienist does most of the work in regular cleanings, and probably talks most of the time, thus making your visit unnecessarily longer. Dr Shah values yours as well as her time, performs the teeth cleaning herself efficiently, checks for tartar buildup in the X-rays before and after cleaning, and sends you home with the joy of having squeaky-clean and healthy teeth.
Her hygienists (shout-out to Christina and Yesenia) are very trustworthy, compassionate, and experienced. The front office is highly efficient, very patient, do a great job with reminding you and rescheduling your appointments, and always welcome you with a smile.
I have been to both the locations - on McKee Road and Capitol Expressway, and the service is equally good at both! Dr. Shah ties up with specialists for root canals, braces, wisdom teeth removal, and they are all fabulous. When on vacation, Dr. Shah’s substitute dentists have also been very good.
Willow Dental Health Center - San Jose Isabel Emigdio: Amazing experience and one of the most genuine and gentle dental offices I’ve ever been to. My past dental visits at other places have left me terrified of going back but I recently started going here and the experience I had left me wanting to come back and extremely satisfied. They really do tell you exactly what you need and help you in many ways that you didn’t think you needed. They truly care for their patients and are very gentle and sweet with you. They will not hide anything from you and will truly treat you with the best care!
Coyote Creek Dental - San Jose Raj Singh: I came to Coyote Creek Dental with pretty bad tooth pain, and honestly, I was a bit nervous about what was going on. It turned out I needed a root canal, not exactly great news but the entire experience was surprisingly smooth and so much better than I expected.
From the moment I walked in, the staff was kind, welcoming, and really put me at ease. Dr Rupinder was incredibly gentle and took the time to explain everything clearly, which helped ease a lot of the anxiety I had going in. They were patient, professional, and constantly made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure.
What really stood out aside from the great care was how easy they made the insurance process. Everything was explained up front, there were no surprises, and the claim was handled quickly and smoothly, which was a huge relief.
Im so grateful to have found a dental office that’s not only skilled and caring but also super organized and efficient.

Marina Dental Center - San Jose Annie Khan: Got my root canal done on my first appointment. I’m very terrified of going to the dentist and have been avoiding it. Dr. Frank and the assistant were super friendly.
Capitol Dental - San Jose Ramaprasad Kulkarni: Dr. Nagesh is one of the most professional, knowledgeable, and friendly doctors I have come across. She explains all the procedures that are required to be done, the tests that are required and gives any alternate options as well. While performing painful procedures, she explains each and every detail what she is going to perform and gives a heads-up on what we could expect to feel (say pain, numbness, tingling...). She also advises on what we could do to ease the pain.
Besides Dr. Nagesh, the staff at Capitol Dental are professional, friendly and helpful.
Overall a very good experience at Capitol Dental and I would recommend it wholeheartedly.
Bascom Valley Dental - San Jose Amber Pedroza: Dr. Nguyen went beyond and know what need to be done first within your insurance coverage, affordable. Staffs are very friendly, very clean, kids friendly. Definitely recommended to come here! Their goals to make sure we are happy and get to smile.
Esthetic Dental Care - San Jose Truc Mai: Dr. Hien is AMAZING with kids. My squeamish daughter had a shot to fill cavities and I didnt hear a single peep or complain. My youngest son was crying and uncooperative at first, but she worked her magic and actually was able to fill his cavities as well. This is a boy who wouldnt even let the doctor check his ear. Highly recommend her alone on her dedication to her patients and explaining in simple terms their dental conditions. Ability to work with kids is icing on the cake!
South Bay Dental Center & Orthodontics - San Jose Jennifer Le: DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE!
My niece went here for orthodontist treatment. We were constantly neglected, and ended up having to find a new orthodontist who made an initial report about the awful conditions and procedures of the Dr. Virays work and we had to seek legal counsel and are in the process of suing South Bay Dental Center!
My niece needed to go to therapy and medical centers due to her pain and stress this place had caused her!
They also never refunded us for treatment that I paid in full after I asked for a partial refund for the remaining treatment since we were not going there anymore. However, the office manager refused and said it was against their policy so we had to seek legal counsel for damages and negligence.
