5 /5 Bahareh Ramezani: UCLA Emergency Santa Monica sets the gold standard for emergency care. From security to reception, nurses, doctors, and imaging specialists, every staff member was exceptionally kind, professional, and efficient. The nurses were incredibly compassionate, and the doctor was thorough and highly skilled. Despite being an ER, the waiting time was under three hours—a stark contrast to UCLA Westwood. This facility feels like a five-star medical center, offering top-tier care with unmatched efficiency. Highly recommend!

5 /5 El Arte de Cantar by Mayre Martinez: Impressive and superb! The doctors, nurses, and every single person in this place excels. I think probably nobody ever likes to go to an emergency room, and I am no exception. I’ve been to the Santa Monica Medical Center Emergency Room three times, and all of the staff made me feel like I was in the best hands. Also, the time I stayed each time was surprisingly fast and effective. One of the times it was very crowded, like any city ER, and even though I had to be in the hallway for hours because they didn’t have any room left, I still felt well and carefully taken care of. Shout out to Nurse Alysia Lanzone—she is truly amazing—and Dr. Bianca Choe and Dr. Jessica Chow, exceptional doctors.

5 /5 C Sizemore: My second time at this ER, and they are consummate professionals. They are polite, they listen, they arent condescending....all across the board. Dr Messina understood everything I was trying to articulate, he genuinely cares and I felt validated and happy that there still are GOOD, COMPASSIONATE physicians still. I highly recommend this medical establishment. Other reviews giving this place anything lower than 5, well ....maybe change your attitude or act entitled, your experience will be much better.

5 /5 Queenie Maddox: I love this hospital and I always go here for everything. I’ll drive past 100’s of hospitals to get to UCLA. Every single time won’t be perfect. But overall, they have ALWAYS taken good care of me. The staff are always kind to me.

1 /5 Rose McKay: Do not go there. People are very unprofessional. They keep you waiting in the hallway for hours and hours while I’m pregnant with twins and won’t give a cup of water, putting the lives of my unborn children in danger. They loudly announce your very private and personal medical information in the hallway where they force you to sit for hours. At the end, didn’t even see a specialist. Also, if you are a public figure and go to this God-forsaken place, they use you to entertain themselves. Had to endure a whole bunch of nurses/ attendants giggling like hyenas in the ER, for hours, where they force you to wait in the hallway.
