5 /5 Caroline Pathy: Really great experience - saw the triage nurse within a couple of minutes - and the waiting room was half full. Didn’t see a doctor for 1.5 hours but I guess there were others more serious than me. Then when I saw a doctor, support was fantastic - really thorough set of tests and very little waiting time between them, all clearly explained to me, and all the staff were lovely. There was a choice to keep me in or send me home, doctor explained the options and we both agreed that I was better at home. I felt really confident with the choices that were made. Thanks to everyone in the team!

5 /5 Abby: We had a really positive experience in the ER. Went in Monday morning due to an infection that was worsening and were taken to triage in about 15 min. Taken to a bed and saw a nurse, then a doctor, soon after that. They determined he needed to be admitted and the only waiting around was for an inpatient bed, which did take around 5 hours. But during that time there was a stream of very nice and attentive nurses and doctors checking in. Every person we interacted with was so kind. The care we received once moved to inpatient was also wonderful.

5 /5 Mari Drake: They dont make you wait for hours in the waiting room...I got called to the back within 15 minutes, and I didnt have to wait too long for the doctor. The doctors and nurses were very caring. Everything was clean, neat and organized. Definitely coming back here if I ever have an emergency again!

1 /5 Jack Cline: After working at Saint John’s. I went on Tuesday feb 17. I was very weak and had fatigue. Being a Nurse for 35 years I told the NP that my symptoms are Cardiac Related. I requested an ECHO. The provider said that they don’t do Echos in the ER and that there is no Cardiologist at the Hospital. My Fatigue was extreme and I wasn’t provided with a bed but was forced to sit in the lobby and was not assigned to a bed. They put me on the side of the ER that was about to close and was placed back in the Lobby waiting for my discharge papers. After having work there for more than 20 years I was made to feel less than a person because everyone got a bed in the main ER except for me. NP Hupla discharged me home.. I went to Cedars immediately and was diagnosed with endocarditis and puss next to my heart. I received substandard quality of care.at Saint Johns. I never saw a MD at Saint Johns. NP needs to be supervised.

1 /5 Vashk Sadeg: I would call this place disgusting because I checked in my dad with RSV or Respiratory syncytial virus and with a visitor sticker they asked me to check in again anytime I was out of the ER and it was very inconvenient; however, after 3-4 times wasting my time to check back in again I tried to just enter and thought that they cut me out after 3-4 times checking in !!!!! Honestly, how disgusting of them that they asked me to leave the ER. Throughly disgusting behavior. Later on the same day they hospitalized my dad and with a visitor sticker I was able to get in and out of hospital easily. Can believe this much of difference between rules in their ER and in their hospital??!! Truly disgusting Emergency room and my dad even did not have a plan to go there only paramedics took him there.
