2 /5 Donna Adams: The ER was nothing but awful thru the whole visit! Had to consistently demand for my pediatric nephew receive proper treatment! From walking into the first door. After discussing with security, both his mom and myself, his aunt, had to be with him! Had to go up the chain of command to talk to Nursing, charge nurse then House Supervisor letting him know hed need to call on call Administration if they still tried to make me leave her and him! Both my sister and myself are more than willing to stand at his bedside 24/7 in the hallway to keep him safe and keep from both of them being traumatized when he attacks my sister and or takes off running around the ER. My sister can not be alone either when he does just that! They consistently tried to discharge him without what his primary care doctor sent my sister, his mom, here to get for him! The full time in ER we were told hes being discharged to hes staying for 5150 72hr hold. The only medication he was giving wasnt helping him. Between my sister and myself, we are able to keep him from escalating even when he hates me and wants me gone. Then he flips to being sorry and thanking me. When he was admitted to Pediatrics floor, they were amazing, and everyone was great! Although he was discharged with the medication is still not helping and could take up to 2 weeks to take effect. We kept asking for anything to help him till it kicked in. It wasnt till after he was dcd his primary care doctor ordered additional medicine. This medication even took several days to help him! I wouldnt recommend this hospital if youre looking for assistance for psychological & emotional problems for a pediatric patient with multiple significantly difficult histories! I do recommend their pediatric psychological Dr who, at almost 10 yrs old, saw how much more complicated his diagnoses are! Do better, especially ER! Remember, as nursing staff, its your responsibility to advocate for your patients! Even if that means you have to demand proper treatment, you are willing to go up the chain of command to make sure your patients receive the treatment they need! If you refuse to do that, then nursing isnt for you! Put yourself in your patients shoes, then treat them the way you want to be treated! 1 /5 cin Fernandez: My daughter was here for over 6 hours in ER being ignore...kept asking why are we not being help since we are no longer a priority we can wait over 8 hours....not even water offered......then there was the older lady across the hall also being ignored.....I had to get a phlebotomist to help her because her nurse was no where to be found. And, she was having breathing problems. Mind you the old lady had already asked for help but none had arrived.....

1 /5 suleka cha: This hospital made me lose my first born and rushed into an emergency c section, the obgyn for Dr. Lee did not check good on me while I was pregnant! I do not recommend this for nobody, sutter health is way better !

5 /5 Hernandez Mrs Cathy: Thanks to the Heart specialist that SAVED ME FROM A WIDOWMAKER HEART ATTACK!! I WAS IN SO MUCH PAIN THAT ID BEEN SUFFERING FOR 4DAYS!! My wonderful husband took me RIGHT INTO SELMA HOSPITAL ONLY TO BE TRANSFERRED TO FRESNO COMMUNITY HOSPITAL LIGHTS AND SIRENS WITH A Defibrillator READY TO GO WITH PADS ON MY CHEST IN CASE I HAD A FULL HEART ATTACK GOING STRAIGHT FROM THE AMBULANCE TO OPERATION ROOM!! THEY TRULY SAVED MY LIFE!!

2 /5 RICHARD RichardL: Doctors are great. Staff not so much. They had great great granny’s and younger people assisting with recovery. The granny’s are way way beyond helping much. They created more chaos than assistance. I would NEVER have these people do this. Then there were the patients. I had two patients in adjacent rooms next to me that were screaming at the top of their lungs for hours. You couldn’t sleep. The beds naturally are awful nothing new there. I was there for six days and was very happy to leave. And the food was absolutely abysmal. That’s my take.

Lola Ruiz: I called to make an appointment and they “schedule” me. Came during my time and they didn’t have me in the schedule. I was however seen. They took vitals and did the paperwork within a good time. However I was kept in a room waiting over an hour. Must had waiting in the room for 1.5 hours. This is ridiculous. The only reason why I came was for a physical needed for immigration and would had left if I didn’t needed it.

Melissa Ramirez: Dr. Wong and staff were very kind, professional, patient and knowledgeable m, except for one RN. RN Jim from the ER side, made me feel like I was dumb, like if I was overreacting and I didn’t know what I was talking about. My baby had some type of seizure episode for the first time, fever, diarrhea, vomiting gesture without actually vomiting etc and he kept not taking anything I was saying serious. I explained the whole situation and the reason why we were there and he just kept brushing things off the shoulder and saying how kids do weird things all the time and that it’s probably just a regular cold, nothing major, she seems fine, like if there’s nothing wrong with her. Turns out, she has COVID and according to Dr. Wong, it actually WAS a febrile seizure. Another thing about RN Jim that I disliked and embarrassed me was when I was describing and demonstrating how her seizure was, he asked me how was it again? I thought to myself, oh cool he’s actually taking me serious now, so I did it again and demonstrated the seizure episode again and he said now do it one more time and I was about to do it again when I realized oh wow he’s just getting a kick out of this and making fun of me. So I didn’t do it again and we all laughed about it at the time, but I was pretty irritated and upset about the fact that he was just joking about it rather then making us parents feel like he’s actually hearing us out. Other than him, everyone else was great. That’s why I’m not giving it 5 stars.

Jessica Anguiano: Susan the therapist sucks , very rude and doesn’t care for her patients at all. I called regarding my mom and the receptions Barbara was super nice very friendly and helpful she’s a doll. But once I got transferred to Susan she had an attitude and said was not able to even confirm my mom was a pt there due to confidentiality. The only reason I called is because Susan told my mom she was going to get billed because her time is money , which all she did is ask my mom what insurance she had and let her know they don’t accept it and sent her on her way. No services were rendered and some how we are getting billed ! She only cares about money . Sad we have drs that only seek money

Linda: The Hospital is pretty good in general but for Gods sake, do something about the Parking. Its absolutely ridiculous to have to drive around for Half an hour just to get a parking spot. I drove through those parking lots over and over again. Even in the parking lot that says patients only, the employees are parking in there, I saw them in their scrubs with all their stuff and wearing their employee badges coming into and out of the patient parking. Its a DAMN shame that disabled and sick people are being treated like this while the employees take up almost all of the parking stalls.

Miles Brenda “Brenda Cox”: I just had cataract surgery done on my right eye December. 14,2023 from the time me and my daughter walked in to check me in The Staff was very nice and helpful. When the nurse came out and got me I told her I have very bad anxiety and that I was a little scared she told me step by step what was going to be going on from putting my IV in until they came and got me for the surgery I very much appreciate all the time the nurse took with me making sure I was doing good. From what I can remember everyone in the room where they did my eye surgery was very nice and helpful there as well. Im going to be having a cataract removal on my left eye as well sometime in January 2024 this time Im looking forward to my surgery cause I feel very comfortable and at ease and this is do to the experience I have already had with the eye surgery unit very loving and caring men and women work in there. I just wish I could remember my nurses name that was with me in the start cause without her I know I wouldnt have been as relaxed as I was. Thankyou again to the nurses in the cataract eye surgery unit Brenda McQueen

You can never get a hold of someone on the phone, and if you do it’s only to place you on hold without even answering the phone just a cold transfer to hold. Please get rid of the front office assistants, if they can’t do the job right get someone who can. Office is going through construction but the real problem is the customer service.

Crystal: Very nice comfortable place to visit. They treat you right and are very friendly. You get seen in about half an hour if your apt. Cant even feel the staff draw your blood If you dont look. They always ho over your history and ask if you have and ?s or concerns prior to surgery and resolve them.

Justin Aulakh: The general health side is not bad, but this review is for the Dental side. Their dental is the worst. They would not care if you died waiting for an appointment. They are extremely rude and don’t care about you, your dental issues or even getting you a basic appointment. I have been trying to get an appointment for a cavity for over 6 months, while in pain. I call and talk to them at least 2 times a week! They don’t care to try and help, they usually forward me to a voicemail that never gets addressed. You are better off paying for your own dental insurance than dealing with these heartless people.

Annie 101: Unfortunately I had the worst experience with the front desk lady in suite 490, I was referred by the dentist to come here and I drove 40 minutes just to be turned down by the front desk girl saying the doctor doesn’t take those diagnostics…. Like what my dentist sent me here for a reason and what’s worse is that she didn’t even explain anything and had the worst attitude, really unwelcoming.
