5 /5 Miles Brenda “Brenda Cox”: I just had cataract surgery done on my right eye December. 14,2023 from the time me and my daughter walked in to check me in The Staff was very nice and helpful. When the nurse came out and got me I told her I have very bad anxiety and that I was a little scared she told me step by step what was going to be going on from putting my IV in until they came and got me for the surgery I very much appreciate all the time the nurse took with me making sure I was doing good. From what I can remember everyone in the room where they did my eye surgery was very nice and helpful there as well. Im going to be having a cataract removal on my left eye as well sometime in January 2024 this time Im looking forward to my surgery cause I feel very comfortable and at ease and this is do to the experience I have already had with the eye surgery unit very loving and caring men and women work in there. I just wish I could remember my nurses name that was with me in the start cause without her I know I wouldnt have been as relaxed as I was. 5 /5 Y S: I was recently admitted after I had a fusion at the L3-L5 level. Staff was very nice and helpful from pre admission to discharge. I was on the second floor. My room was a good size. I only had one nurse that didn’t check on me regularly. It’s possible this nurse was busy with other patients. All of the other nurses and PCT’s were fantastic! Food was decent, too. I hope I do not have to have another fusion at a different level. If I do, I know they will take great care of me. I just want them to know that I appreciated all of their care.

5 /5 Al McKnight: I had a 5 level laminectomy and spinal fusion performed by Dr. Conner Telles, his surgical assistant D Simon and team. Im so glad I went to this hospital! Dr. Telles and the rest of the surgery team were so great and answered all my question.The nurses on the 2nd floor are also amazing! Very nice and caring and didnt show any annoyed attitude no matter how many times I pushed the help button lol. The rooms are very spacious and my daughter was allowed to stay the duration of my stay. Food was high quality too. Special props to Monique, who is a nurses assistant! She was exceptionally attentive and caring!

1 /5 Linda: I had my spinal hardware removal surgery done here, three weeks later I developed an abscess and osteomyelitis ended back in the hospital at ST AGNES with MRSA in the abscess which had to be drained twice, I had to have picc lines put in and start IV antibiotics which I am still on and the Surgery was 4/23/24, and its now 6/28/24. I was at St. Agnes for 9 days. 2 weeks later back at St. Agnes because the IV antibiotics gave me slight kidney damage, couldnt keep food down, lost 3O pounds and stayed in the hospital another 5 days. My advice stay the Hell away from Fresno Surgical Hospital, they must not clean things very well. I was the last patient of the day, supposed to have surgery between 2 pm and 3 pm and didnt have surgery until after 10pm at night and came out of surgery with a small skin tear on my arm which they never even explained until I asked what it was from. "Oh a little accident in the O. R." There were signs everywhere warning about MRSA.

2 /5 Yvonne Yvonne: I had a horrible experience in recovery. The discharge Rn Amber had no compassion. She was so rude and terribly mean to me. Amber was verbally expressing how frustrated she was that she got a 2cd patient and still had to discharge me. I hadnt even been awake for 10 minutes at that point. Amber got even more upset when I asked her if I had yet voided. My surgeon instructed me that I needed to void prior to being discharged. Amber rushed me to the bathroom slammed 2 hats on the toilet seat and put my bag of belongings on the trash bin and told me to pull the string when i was done. Due to the procedure I had, it took me some time to void. I had put my pants on because I assumed that I was supposed to get dressed in the bathroom. Amber banged on the bathroom door and yelled are you done yet. I still had my iv and bag hooked to my arm so a tech came and helped me back to the bed I was in and helped me put my top on. I cannot believe how everyone was staring at Amber but no one checked her behavior, or how she was treating me, or asked if I was ok. I am thankful for the kind tech. Amber had a very bad attitude and tone. Amber was even mean to my daughter who was waiting in the car for me. Amber is clearly burnt out and even then it is not an excuse for how she treated me and discharged me. I am so embarrassed.
