1 /5 Cyndi D: Dr. Armen Cherik is an awful doctor/person. I waited so long to get an appointment and it was a total waste of my time and money. I suffer from 3 different conditions which I addressed with him. One thing that I have is severe restless leg syndrome. I can’t sleeps for days on end right. Cherik tells me not to worry because there are plenty of treatment options. He sends me for bloodwork and needs to get records from my previous neurologist. Tells me to come back in a month. A MONTH I’m suffering here and he says come back in a month. So I go back a month later and after sitting in the exam room for an hour waiting for him he walks in, sits down, and says ok let’s see what we have here. He hadn’t even reviewed my test results or gone over previous records. Again only addresses one problem, writes two prescriptions and get up to leave. I’m like hey what about my………….he looks at me writes something gives it to me says get this test and then literally walks out of exam room. I finally get my prescriptions because twice he wrote the prescription on the wrong prescription pad. AND THEN the office refuses to call the pharmacy and makes come back to the office to get a new one. The first time I took the medication I had a psychotic episode which had never happened to me before in my life. Remember I said earlier that he told me not to worry because there were plenty of treatment options, LISTEN TO ME when I called the office to discuss what happened he would not talk to me and asked the assistant to tell me that there was nothing else that he could do for me. End of story! I’m am now seeing my previous neurologist and paying out of my pocket because my insurance changed and her practice does not accept it.
Now I have read some excellent reviews for him however he my experience was awful and would not go back to him if he said he’d see me for free. Good Luck to anyone who makes the choice to go to Dr. Armen Cheriks practice! My suggestion/option is RUN THE OTHER WAY!
