1 /5 B Fernandez: Does anyone know if the location is closed? My husband and I have called and left messages trying to get an appt for my father-in-law for months.

1 /5 Imma: This was my first visit. Prior to the visit, I was prompted to confirm the appointment three times, once over the phone, then over email and again over text message. I also exchanged emails with a representative to confirm that the Nurse Practitioner would be comfortable assessing some of my concerns, since the doctor wouldnt be available. I was in front of the office door at exactly 2:10 PM. My appointment was made for 2 PM. No one answered the door when I knocked. Some patients eventually left and I was able to get in while the door was open. By that time it was 2:12--2:13. There was no one at the front desk, I walked in and a worker was taken aback to see me. She said they were closed and that they allow 15 minutes before canceling the appointment and it was 2:15 already, it was NOT 2:15. Then the front desk receptionist comes out and asks if this is an emergency and that the nurse can see me if it is. I say that I dont need to go to the ER or Urgent Care, but I got time off work and made sure to be here. She said shell "talk to the nurse." Then she left and there was whispering for a while. She comes back and hands me paperwork to fill out. At this point Im pretty shocked. Being made to feel an "inconvenience" at a first visit to this office was a major red flag. But I start filling out the paperwork anyway. Another worker passes by and the receptionist asks "Can you take her blood? Because so-and-so is gone already". At this point Im on page 3 of the form and I say and Im sorry, but Im uncomfortable being here and I will not be taking this appointment now. Everybody was already on their phones and ready to leave the office when I arrived. No appointment should be made for 2PM if the office clearly closes AT TWO. Horrible experience. Absolutely DO NOT recommend this place. The staff is always a clear representation of the practice as a whole, and Im very disappointed that this doctor allows his office to run this way.

1 /5 Eileen M: Comically bad. Reported them to the CA Osteopathic Medical Board for flagrant HIPAA violations. Those are patient medical charts lying out in the open. This office and the clowns that work here are a joke. You will never see the actual doctor associated with this practice (Zamorano) but medical students or nurse practitioners. They are always running at least two hours behind schedule. I chose this office because its close to my home, but these are low quality people and I wish I left the practice sooner.

1 /5 DJD: Ill start off with they are very disorganized. Ive now switched to a different PCP, but as I switched, LA Care asked why and I explained that Ive gotten blood drawn here for lab purposes and tests and at least 4 times they had me come back to redo them because they lost/couldnt figure out where my results were or my labs didnt get done correctly. Sometimes I went to get blood drawn within the same week which isnt the most fun. I also had an experience with Dr. Zamorano just flat out asking if I had a partner who was abusing me. With no sensitivity at all. I did not have an abusive partner either, but the way he asked made me VERY uncomfortable. I relayed this info to LA CARE and the Glendale Memorial responded with never losing labs, saying last time I went there in 2021 which is not true (I was there last year 2023. Might be because they are disorganized) and that I cancelled appointments a lot (When THEY would forget to call me with telehealth appointments. I had to call them to tell them no one called or followed up and they would apologize). The people working in the office were generally nice, but it hardly helped when I was always frustrated with my health experience and their disorganization. I dont recommend.

1 /5 Francis Otanez: This is so far the most unprofessional medical office I have ever been to. I found out I was pregnant the week before Christmas so I immediately called the office to go and have some blood work since I used the home pregnancy tests. (Just wanted to confirm) They told me I didnt need an appt, just to go as a walk in. So I did... Once I got to the office, the nurse said she couldnt do it because I needed to have a lab request. I explained to her I had previously called and told her the conversation I had with the receptionist. After explaining myself several times, she agreed to do the blood work. Once she was done, she mentioned the results will be delayed because of the holidays but they will give me a call as soon as they receive it and the authorization to see my OBGYN will be send out as well. It has been more than 3 weeks now and no one has called me to give me an update on the authorization nor to give me the test results. I called the office yesterday and the girl said the results are positive but theres no authorization on record. She said she was going to check my chart and will call me back later..... I am still waiting for her call. This is beyond unacceptable and I will definitely file a complaint with the MBC.
