This is an outstanding location the staff is always friendly, warm and welcoming and making you feel at home.

5 /5 Dilaram Jabari: Got a haircut, treatment for my dehydrated hair, and styled. It was my second time going to Isidro and he gave me exactly what I needed. I am not good at articulating what kind of style I need, but he was able to understand what I was asking for and continuously checked to make sure I was happy with my cut. Isidro took the time to educate me on how to care for my curls. High recommend him to anyone looking for a new hair dresser.

Berenice Martinez Gutierrez: Not what I was hoping for. They have both the tv and the radio going at the same time, so you’re listening to lots of commercials and the news, and it’s not very relaxing. My nails look fine, but they do dip your fingers in acetone to remove gel (no wrapping) along with the power tools for the removal. My nails are so thin, I had to let her know she was hurting me with that drill. On the plus side they did see me almost right away, and they were kind enough to help me pick a color. It’s not a bad place, just not my cup or tea. I left with a headache because of all the noise.

She asked me a few questions and decided I would go with baby lights as it will give me my desired look. Jeanette is really sweet and made sure I was taken care of from start to finish. The rest of the staff was also so sweet. I enjoyed the atmosphere here and will definitely be back to see Jeanette!

Marjory Martinez: I love going with Mr. Posh, he has been my hairstylist since I was 13, and he never fails to impress. I can always describe to him what I would like to have done and he gets it done or comes out with even better results than expected. For my last visit I said I wanted peek-a-boo balayage with mermaid colors, I chose 4 potential colors and this is what we came up with. Definitely recommend, and I will be going back soon for a new color.

Rosa Hernandez: I had a one star experience. When I walked in for my appointment, Alma asked if I saw the text message she sent me I was confused since we set the appointment over the phone. She texted me to move my appointment from 1:00 to 1:30. Anyways I was waiting since 1 o’clock for my appointment did not get attended until 2:30 I was supposed to get a color and keratin treatment. After the color and wash she said that it’s her husband’s birthday and to excuse her for she will not be finishing the appointment and was trying to have me leave home half done. As I got up to leave she asked the next client to sit down on the chair to do a keratin treatment on her. That’s when I decided to speak up for myself explaining how this is unprofessional and and unfair the owner of the store came to speak with me and asked if I wanted her to dry my hair I said yes I would appreciate it. That’s when Alma spoke up and told the owner “ No No no do not touch her hair I started I will finish the hair the owner said will if you want” that’s when she said well she will have to come back on Monday to finish the hair. The owner did not try to help me out the same day she did not want to help fix the issue the same day she also agreed with Alma and told me to come back on Monday. Like what!??

I am unsure of her name but I remember her being Mexican and having curly hair, I had asked for a picture around shoulder length and she gave me a pixie cut, then when I proceeded to tell her just leave it wet because the damage had already been done she made me get it straightened, when I told her I didn’t like it she said “but this is what you asked for” in what world is a shoulder length haircut a pixie?? If I could give this hairstylist negative stars I would! and i am for sure not coming back!!

Rachael Planishek: Please avoid this salon unless you want your hair ruined. As a background, I’ve been getting balayages done for 5 years now so I had the blonde base to work with. I showed the stylist the first picture as my inspo pic (which has been the same inspo pic since I started getting balayages) and she quoted me a price of almost 400$. I agreed to the price because it was similar to what I had paid before. I should’ve been alarmed from the beginning when the stylist said she wasn’t going to touch my roots. I always have them do color on my roots 1-2 shades darker than my natural color to create a nice contrast (as seen in the inspo pic as well.) When it came time to blow dry, I noticed that my entire head looked like it was nothing but a dark ashy blonde. When I raised concerns about this, my stylist said that they don’t touch the roots for a balayage and that it would be 85$ for them to do my roots. If I needed a shadow root, she should’ve known from the moment I showed her the inspo pic and should’ve included it in the initial price. She was resistant to getting her manager and only after getting her involved did they finally say it would be free of charge. Then when she was drying my hair off after the shadow root, you could tell it was haphazardly done. There are blocks that look weird right in the front of my face and there’s not melting of the colors so it looks awful. Also my ends are significantly darker than they were when I came in (see the third picture for my prior blonde color and the second picture for what I left with today.) When I raised this concern to my stylist, she just told me that it would lighten when I washed it. I told her when I came in that I was going on vacation in 2 days and was getting my hair done for that. I had no intention of washing my hair prior to vacation because I knew they would be washing it today. But then it didn’t even matter because she left a ton of dye in my hair so the hairs around my neck were stuck together and the dye stained my clothing because I didn’t know it was there (please see fourth picture of what was coming out of my hair before I washed it.) I had to come home and immediately shower. So I paid 400$+ for hair that I will now have to get touched up at another salon. Highly dissatisfied and will definitely not return. I also want to warn others because your money would be better spent somewhere else. If you’re going to go here, just be prepared to have to go somewhere when they mess up your hair.
