5 /5 Gary Rust: Luisas is an excellent Italian restaurant. This restaurant is a real jewel in the Mission. I loved my Lasagna Fiorentina, which bested a lot of lasagna Ive had in Italy over the years. The bread is house baked and too tasty. The garlic bread was even better, made of course from that delicious bread. Luisa was at the restaurant greeting customers and watching over everything. She runs a tight ship, and the employees seem to adore her. I remember Luisas the restaurant when it was on Castro St. during the 80s. I always loved eating there. It was a joy to reminisce with her after all these years. And its amazing she is still going strong at 96!

5 /5 sid srivastava: One of the best Italian restaurants in the city and probably the best value Italian spot in the city. Gnocchi was some of the best I’ve had in a minute. Lobster ravioli was also really good. Pizza honestly didn’t look the most amazing but man it tasted great. Tiramisu was a little underwhelming but still tasty, just a tad bitter and wish they didn’t use Hershey’s. Would come back for sure.

5 /5 Rehman Ali: Hands down, this is my favorite Italian restaurant that Ive been to in San Francisco so far. I thought I have had gnocchi before but omg when I tell you this gnocchi is so good, its better than any that Ive ever had. The pasta I had was delicious and fresh as well. The sauces were CRAZY delicious and truly Im not one to obsess over Italian food usually but it was so so yummy and memorable. The service was so kind. She let us try a few wines before deciding on the one we were going to get checked on us regularly, but not too much and it was just really really good service. Luisa her self was there as well sitting in a booth and it was really cool to see her just hanging out while I was enjoying her and her familys delicious recipes. the ambience of the restaurant was so cute and quaint and I cant wait to come back.

5 /5 Emma Pilotzi: This was our first time dining here, and we’re already planning to come back! The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was bursting with flavor. The service was equally impressive; from the warm welcome by the hostess to the attentive waitstaff and talented kitchen team. Highly recommend!
