I recently purchased a 2003 Mercedes wagon from a dealership locally that had all kinds of warning lights on about 4 days into it the check engine light came on the dealer sent me right over her mechanic who happened to be Eron, I was so impressed with this guy his honesty and the fact that he tries to protect the consumer rather than the used car dealer who is paying him, he told me everything that was wrong with my car what I needed to do and how to go about it with the dealer. When I picked up my car he mentioned another issue and told me I need to take it to the dealer before 30 days otherwise it will become my problem and not hers. Great mechanic great place

Cheri Hickey I am a single mother. Erol sold me a car when the one I brought in, could not be fixed. I told him how much money I had, and he said, that was just enough to get me into a BMW X5 he had. He assured me, that this was a reliable car for me and my twin two-year-old daughters. On my way home with the car, the transmission quit working. I was stranded on the side of the road, with my toddlers, for five hours before help arrived. I called Erol for assistance, and was told, the transmission problem, was my problem. I paid $600 to have the vehicle towed back to his shop. Now I have spent, $5600, that I didn’t have, and I have been in a rent a car ever since. If I got paid back for the car, I could get another one, and return the rental. Instead, I can’t get a callback. He hasn’t heard the last from me!

I didn’t take it personal, but liked the idea that he was able to think on his feet to come up with a solution. It didn’t work but he gets a “B” for effort.

Tony Lapham I hit a speed bump and scrapped the bottom of my car. My local dealership said I needed a new oil pan because of damage at a cost of $3500. Green Phoenix quoted a thousand less. They ordered the part and when it came in, put the car on the lift and determined it only had minor scrapes and needed no repairs. Needless to say all of my auto repairs will be done here! They are extremely honest and I was very impressed with the service.

Michael Hernandez I went here because my brother recommended this place before he passed away last thanksgiving, and it was only a couple of blocks away from my house, I pulled up at 8am and right away I was greeted and then referred to the master mechanic, he was very polite and kind, I explained my situation with my vehicle and how i had went to firestone and they did a diagnostic and told me what the problem was, right away he said that does not sound like your problem and I believe it is something else. So he recommended that i let him diagnose it, and he was right and what firestone told me was wrong, i had my breaks done at calderons and they did a terrible job and ripped me off, and i told him about that too, and he said not to worry and that they offered free brake inspections, my suv drove bad with bad breaks and tires rubbing, it was scary, long story short, they did a full inspection on my vehicle for free and found issues that i was not aware of and also found the real problem i was having with my front suspension and breaks. They quoted me a price that I thought was very reasonable and fair and I said let’s do it, they ordered the parts and the next day by 5pm my truck was done and let me tell you I could not be happier. My truck drives better than it ever has and my breaks are excellent. And everything is backed by a 2 year warranty. Excellent service excellent shop excellent job. Love this place and will definitely be back.

Ali I used to come to Trust Lane for my car repairs, but after my most recent experience, I’m seriously questioning how much they may have overcharged me in the past. I brought my car in for a simple code scan, and they tried to charge me $200 saying that the basic scan was bringing multiples codes for the scan, not including any repairs. They also tried to make me worry by saying the issue could cause my car to fail a smog check. Thankfully, I got a second opinion from another local mechanic. They ran a basic scan, found the problem quickly, (It was a faulty fuel cap) and didn’t charge me anything. I tipped them out of appreciation for their honesty, something I clearly didn’t get from Trust Lane. I waited to post this review to see if Trust Lane might have had a point. But as of today, my car passed the smog check without any issues. That confirmed what I suspected: they were either misinformed or just trying to scare me into paying for unnecessary work. I’m really disappointed, especially as a returning customer. It’s frustrating to now wonder how much money I may have wasted here over the years. I can’t recommend this place to anyone who values transparency and honest service.

Called around to a 1/2 dozen places, and Myla at Vitmar gave a good price on good parts and could schedule us soon. The mechanics knew their work and obviously had pride in what they were doing (they wanted to get everything right), which is great to see. The mechanics only spoke Spanish, but translation was always at hand and there was no mis-communication (as there sometimes is with English speaking mechanics!). The job was done well, on time, at the quoted price and even a few other little fixes thrown in (a bolt added to tighten a loose panel on our RV). Would recommend Vitmar to anyone needing automotive service!

JA 090 I assume youre reading these reviews to determine whether those places can do a great job on body work. Let me tell you not to look any further because you found the right place!! I own a 2000 Honda Prelude Type SH and I was devastated when I found out the tow truck company that was responsible for transporting my car to another shop damaged my drivers side fender while under their care. It had such a deep scratch and the tow truck company told me it would be better to just replace it but parts for my car are extremely rare to find and all my body panels are the original parts and I didnt want a replacement. A co-worker of mine recommended me this place and as soon as it got delivered to this shop they spent weeks trying to find another fender (which didnt surprise me) and finally just decided to repair the original fender which was exactly what I wanted. I even asked them to repair the front bumper and restore the headlights since they were already damaged and faded from the previous owner of my car. A week later, I was filled with excitement and happiness when I saw my cars fender not only repaired, but the bumper and the headlight were also repaired/restored and looked brand new. I even got new door seals straight from the Honda dealership. On top of that, they had a mobile detailing van clean my car inside and out, which was just the cherry on top. Hector even came to the shop on his day off for a brief moment on the weekend to open the shop so I can pay for my portion of the repairs and take my car home that same day which was SUPER nice and chill of him to do! So please, take my word when I say these guys really dont mess around and do an amazing job at what they do and everyone there is very professional. I was afraid of other people working on my car because of how rare it is and felt like I couldnt trust anyone. I gave this place a chance, and I do not regret it one bit. You should definitely give this place a chance too. These guys make it right and really make you feel like youre important to them. You will definitely not be disappointed with the experience and your results!!

Hector was thoroughly professional and ensured he would make it happen within a week provided all the parts made it in time. Hector was very professional, communicative, and reassuring through the whole process. Hector and his staff went out of their way to keep things on schedule and get the necessary parts on time. They also offered to drop and pick me up from my location which was a great personal touch! We were down to the last few hours of Friday and Hector and the staff worked over lunch to make it happen in time and my car was perfect and was detailed in time!
