Ali is super knowledgeable and is able to tell you the problem in ways a non-mechanic can understand. Hasan is honest, has never tried to sell me on something I dont need and even has encouraged me to wait (tires) on occasion. Their work is fast and more importantly they stand behind it. You wont be disappointed taking your car to them.

Patrick Were so happy we found Auto Specialist! Igor offers incredibly convenient house-call car repair, but thats not all. Hes friendly, punctual, efficient, and explains everything clearly. Plus, his prices are fair and competitive. Igor is honest and transparent about costs. Recently, Igor diagnosed and replaced a faulty starter on my car when it wouldnt start (I thought it was the battery!).  We loved his service so much that we had him replace the battery on another dead car in our garage a few days later. What a lifesaver! We would definitely recommend Igor and Auto Specialist to friends and family for their top-notch auto repair services. Jacob Arne I had a check engine light and I brought it into the dealership. The dealership quoted me 2x the standard price for parts and labor so I called around to get another quote (probably 5 auto shops). Precision was the 5th place I called since no one else was able to get back to me quickly. Precision sent me a reasonable quote within minutes. When I arrived John Rodriguez was extremely friendly and said they could turn it around in less than a day. I barely ever leave reviews but I felt like I needed to for Precision Auto Repair. They honestly made my day so much better after getting no help from other shops that were closer to where we are staying. We are from out of state so we don’t have a regular auto shop in SF. But if we did live here, I’d definitely bring my business to these guys. Really appreciate it!

Beth Dean My car hasn’t looked this good since it was new! A few months back my car got stolen and needed some work. I picked Precision Auto Repair because they are certified with my insurance company, the location was convenient to the city, and they offer detailing. They were incredibly easy to work with, and I got updates every step of the way. Excellent customer service. While my insurance covered the balance, the total for the bill was very reasonable. Once all the parts were in my car was finished quickly and it’s sparkling like new. I’ll definitely be back the next time I need a detail or any body work.

Kyle McNulty I normally hate taking my car into a mechanic because I feel like I am getting fleeced. My friend said Don is honest and runs his business with integrity, and that 100% proved true. I went in expecting to need brake pads replaced on both axles after an oil change assessment, but Don gave me a call and said the back ones were in great shape and did not need to be replaced. Final price also perfectly matched the original quote. Best auto service experience I have ever had.

G Shew I used to bring my car to the Quality auto repair shop on 19th and Kirkham, but they shut down. In search of another auto mechanic, I recently had some work done by these guys. I have to say I was impressed with the service and cost of the repairs. The staff was very helpful in helping me understand the issues with my car and performed the work very quickly. It was nice to know I can call ahead and make an appointment for my repairs if needed too. There were honest and did some extra inspections on the car at no charge to ensure it was running properly. Christian Neizonek This place was amazing. I was in a pinch and unable to take my car to my normal mechanic. I was worried about going to a different shop, but the team here was extremely patient, transparent, and knowledgeable. They suggested a few solutions first which would be free and wouldnt make them any money. Once I insisted on the more complete work, the prices they gave were more competitive than the ones I heard elsewhere. Would definitely suggest them to anybody in the area.

Deena Mallareddy I am writing this review very reluctantly b/c I wholly support local businesses and actually left City Toyota for this very reason. This is my story. I recently made an appt for a 150K service and consultation for a body issue based on a wonderful experience when it was Luscious Garage. The work done by Earthling that was done was great, so five stars for that, but I was disappointed about the customer service regarding their unwillingness to honor a coupon I presented at drop off. The car needed to stay overnight, with my teenage son picking it up the next day. They couldnt do the work unless it was paid for, so I did that remotely, and my son was going to present the coupon the next day at pick up. They would not honor the coupon, saying the charge had already gone through. We all know its pretty easy to reverse charges or submit a credit on a credit card, do make adjustments after the fact. I called to follow up. They were supposed to call back. They didnt. Two calls and one message later, radio silence. Its one thing to not honor the coupon. Its another to just ghost a customer. Unfortunately, I will not be going back b/c this is the type of ghosting I would expect from City Toyota. Im not sure where to go next, but I hope that Earthling brings back the customer service b/c thats what small businesses do.

F Raymond Dropped off my car at 1:00, was told it would be ready around 4:00, service was finished just after 3:00. Painless compared to getting service at the dealership, and a lot cheaper. They checked the condition of the brake fluid and determined that it didn’t need to be replaced, saving me some time and money. Staff were very pleasant to work with. Facility was very clean and organized.

He sent me pictures and videos of the problem and fixed my car in one day. It’s very helpful that he works on Saturdays. I got my car fixed and ready for work on Monday. Cassandra Roy I was in a bind on Saturday morning with a nail in my tire. I just happened to walk by the shop and asked if they were able to do a tire repair. Within 20 minutes I was on my way, the nail was removed all for a very reasonable rate. Very grateful for quick service.

He records a full video of what he sees during the inspection, explains everything in plain language, and gives you all the options—whether you want to fix it now or just drive off and wait. That kind of transparency and respect is rare in this industry. I had engine and transmission fluids changed, and he also spotted a minor coolant leak—didn’t push any unnecessary repairs, just told me what to watch for. Recurring customer right here—definitely coming back for all my GTI needs. This is the kind of place that earns your trust.

They have kept my A3 in tip top shape, while also fixing the work of other technicians I had to take the car to under duress when I was in pinch and out of town with the car. Josh Warren I couldn’t recommend this shop more. I brought my Mercedes in with a variety of issues from electrical problems to oil leaks to programming bugs. Tony was able to diagnose and fix each issue efficiently and at a much lower cost than at any Mercedes dealership or specialized shop I’ve been to. In the past, I’ve consistently had poor service, inadequate (sometimes even damaging) repairs, or both. You can trust Tony to provide great service, reasonable pricing, and most importantly do great work on your vehicle.

Lisa Marsek As a customer of Tony’s, I was shocked to see the three bad reviews below from IsKh, Khayrull and Islom Khalmurodov. So, I called Tony and he gave the following explanation. But first – it’s important to know – all three negative reviews are from the same person. So, he is being dishonest and trying to besmirch the reputation of a legitimate, honest company... because he wanted something for free. The three negative reviews by this person are totally unwarranted and should be ignored. Here’s Tony’s explanation: This person brought his Mercedes to T & R to diagnose multiple problems and a check the entire vehicle for issues – since he recently bought it and didn’t know if it needed any work. He mentioned the following issues: 1) Coolant leak and loss of coolant 2) Multiple lights flashing on dashboard including taillight problems, stop light problems 3) Check engine light problem 4) Thorough inspection of the vehicle 5) A/C light is on Tony at T & R gave him an estimate to diagnose these issues and perform the vehicle inspection. He signed and agreed to the estimate. T & R spent several hours diagnosing the problems and informed him of all the issues. The customer decided not to have anything repaired – which was his prerogative. Upon submission of the invoice, he had an issue paying for the diagnosis charge that he had agreed to. Tony even explained that if the repairs were performed by T & R, they would be able to waive the initial charge and absorb the cost of the diagnosis. Instead, he decided to write bad reviews because he expected something for free.

Weiming Ruan Not very honest guys over there. Quotes were not consistent. Tire installation fees can vary from $25 to $45 within a short time, depending on the mood of the owner. A few other things which gave me unpleasant experiences 1. I have changed fuel filters three times within two years. They always claimed it was the bad quality of the parts. 2. Changed one bearing; Verbal quote was $150 for labor but when the car was towed to the store, it went up to $350 including the bearing which is $60-80. Apparently, they knew the car was not drivable, so my options were limited. 3. Replacing one sensor; Part is $20-30 from any online stores. He charged me $80. Besides, the owner is extremely rude. Will never go there again.
