david frost Amazing food. Shopping close to resorts so able just to walk around. Warm up by a fire when its cold. Fire and ice is a good place for beer food and indoor/outdoor socializing. Right by lifts. And tons of little unique stores around. Hawaiian food and ice skating rink there as well.

DavidC EG This is a fantastic shopping center. After Starbucks, our group visited quite after few stores. The most interesting and novel store was Alpaca. There is something for everyone in this store. There is some construction and a huge dumpster going on outside and in front of the store next to Alpaca so parking is a little tough in that area. Stephanie Wrenn Parking fees for every parking lot in Stateline, and this parking lot is no better, citing people $200 if we exceed two hours. Its ridiculous how commercial Tahoe has become. More and more about tourism and making money and less about the locals who want to try to hang out for a while in their own town. No wonder locals avoid Stateline now, cant even park anymore without paying an arm and a leg. This town needs to focus more on its local people and worry less about turning into the new bay area.

Paisley Kerrisa is a fantastic groomer. My miniature schnauzer is scared of most groomers but her kind demeanor seems to calm him.

Miranda Jones I have a 130lb rottweiler great pyrenees and he is easily able to fit in their tubs for self washing your dog and they even sell toys that are built tough so he can’t destroy them! There are only two tubs so there aren’t like a ton of dogs in there at once so they won’t get overwhelmed. Great place for any dog!

Michael G Since moving to South Lake Tahoe I have been going to Earthwise for both their dog self wash station and their groomers. The team there is incredibly friendly and the self wash station is so well organized and easy to use. I have a golden doodle and they do a beautiful job with her grooming.

Donatella Yelda CA-San Francisco This was my first time taking my dog Simba to Corded Groomer. Katie was absolutely awesome with Simba. I have had very negative experiences with other groomers to a point that I was grooming Simba myself and not doing a very good job. But now, I found a GEM and will continue taking Simba to Katie. Shes very gentle with the dogs and really pays attention to details. Below are Simbas before and after photos.

Erin Goodrich Katie is fantastic. She consistently does a great job with my Yorkie’s haircut — she always looks so adorable! It’s the best haircut she’s ever had. In addition, I appreciate that Katie is timely with the appointments. I 10/10 would recommend Katie and the corded groomer!!

Heather H Customer service was amazing. Our dog had intestinal upset and we needed a very limited ingredient option (chicken and rice), the employee was able to give us options. We purchased the recommended brand (kibble and wet canned). Our dog loved it and improved quickly. We also needed help with cat products in the past and good great recommendations.

Swathi Raikar Horrible Bathroom Experience My stay at this hotel was ruined by the terrible condition of the bathroom. The toilet was a complete disaster—water was flushing out of the bowl and flooding the bathroom floor. It was unsanitary, unpleasant, and downright unacceptable. Despite reporting the issue to the front desk, no immediate solution was provided, leaving me to deal with the mess. For a hotel of this standard, I expected basic functionality in the bathroom. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made to the facilities.

Mrkamraman Photography Clean comfortable rooms some say that they are outdated, but they are rustic and beautiful. Location is the key. Staff was superb. We will definitely stay here again.

S Garcia This place has potential but goodness it is OUTDATED and in desperate need of renovations. We opted for a one bedroom apartment style suite. The location is great, youre right up against the water and they do have a decent sized pool and in ground hot tub. The room itself was pretty gross and smells like an old former smoker unit circa like 1980. Im guessing its been at least 10 years since it had a deep cleaning. Weird, random chairs, the floors extremely warped and squishy. The bathroom sink was leaking and Ive never slept on a softer mattress. Also, the bed had a weird mismatch of pillows? It was a strange experience. Front desk staff was friendly.

Nikki Johnson Connie was amazing with our dog Matt. We called and got an appointment same day! She made sure to ask us questions about our dog for his first visit and was very kind to him. He has some paw trauma so he can get nippy when people touch his paws, but Connie handled him gently and we are so grateful. Next time we are in the area, we will for sure be back!

Michelle Beall Brought our large golden retriever here for the first time today and am so happy with the experience! They were so easy to deal with, kind to me and so good to my dog. She swims in the lake daily and loves to roll in the dirt afterwards so she was so dirty and in desperate need of a trim. They did an amazing job and for a very fair price. I’ll be back!

Julie Gustin This place is incredible. They are so friendly, fast, and leave my pups looking and smelling great. I’ve had dogs for 20 years in NYC, London, and the Bay Area, and this is hands down the best groomer I’ve been to. Highly recommend.

Judyy I had to give them a star to rate but my dog is 9 months super healthy took him here one time got a really bad ear infection on the left a mild one on the right and he his ears were still dirty, they didn’t let me know he was difficult to wash or even let me know they couldn’t work on him properly, NEVER taking ANY of my fur babies here. the washing costed me more than it was worth. WITH a hefty vet bill included, he Has woken up crying and he can’t sleep due to his ear WORST DOG WASH OF TAHOE.!! At least let me know my fur baby is difficult let’s see you deal with a damn ear infection DO NOT GO HERE. many dogs went to my vet with ear Infections after coming here

Alé S I had a great experience at Exotic Nails, I was able to get an appointment 20 minutes in advance, showed up with beat nails, and Tony the owner took great care of me. He took great care with my gel colored French mani. The space is upstairs in Cobblestone plaza (there is an elevator), is warm and cozy, manicure chairs have a beautiful view of the lake. I will definitely return!

Ava Chiao Local mom n pop business. Hung and Tom were the owners. They are very friendly and professional. They do your nails in a timely manner. There’s only two that works so call ahead to plan your services. They make sure your nails dry in between coats for long lasting finish.

Erin Tempest While on vacation, my partner, Peter, and I wanted to get pedicures. We play soccer and so our feet can get pretty beat up. Knowing the weekend was coming, we called to make an appointment (I highly recommend you do that!). The owners were absolutely meticulous with our pedicures. They were friendly and outgoing and made me feel like we had been friends for a long time. The do great work (no polish on my cuticles or toes even though I have teeny tiny nails). Definitely come see these wonderful people!

jessica peterson I’ve been there twice now and they are SO nice! I usually do my own nails, but decided to treat myself for my birthday. That gel mani lasted 5 weeks with no touchups, so I decided to go back. So far it’s a week and a half with no touchups. I will continue to go back there when I feel like treating myself. They are wonderful!

Barbara Best massage I have ever had!!! The first therapist to release the knots across my shoulders. Another visit I tried his hot rock massage. He uses lots of them and it was a wonderful experience. Was so relaxed I kept falling asleep. You will not be disappointed !!!!

Nicole Beedy Worst nail job and experience! I came in to get a fill and pedicure. The pedicure was great but the nail techs did a sloppy job, argued with everything I asked and weren’t able to do the simple design I asked for. I explained what I wanted prior to starting. If they couldn’t or didn’t want to do it they should’ve said that and I would’ve gone somewhere else. I was literally happier with my nails when I walked in and they had over 3 weeks of outgrowth! The lady was rude as hell! If you want amateur work pick this place! The pictures below are after over 3 hours of work! How embarrassing!

Jennifer Rudnick First time here. Good experience overall. Thought dip was $50 and my total was $55 so not sure about the extra $5. Victor was my nail tech. Took his time and cleaned up my cuticles which isn’t the norm when I get dip. We will see how long my nails last but they look good! Would go back.

I’m a bit of a nail perfectionist, and I always want my nails to look thin and natural. But Whitney went above and beyond to achieve that perfect look. I highly recommend you visit this place and ask for Whitney. She’s an absolute pro! The salon is also spotless, which adds to the overall experience.

Taylor Berwick I went here 4 times in the last week trying to get my nails done. I had them taken off and had to wait a day and come back to get gel x. Then my nails fell off almost completely twice. I eventually got them taken off and they did not give me a refund. Do not go here.

RB Elements Day Spa is a premier full service day spa nestled on the shores of South Lake Tahoe. They specialize in stone therapy, sports massage, Swedish massages, Reiki energy, CBD infused treatments, eyelash extensions, clinical skin care treatments, full body waxing, couples treatments, and much more! I visited Elements Day Spa for the first time the other day for a couples massage and it was fantastic! Now, I’ll be honest, Elements Day Spa is fairly deceptive from the outside, because it’s a part of a hotel. There is a small sign on the outside of the log cabin based hotel that says, “Elements Day Spa,” on the second (2nd) floor. One of the most wonderful components of Elements Day Spa is that it a water front spa. There is a beautiful view of Lake Tahoe from roughly every massage / spa room. Imagine being massaged and having a beautiful scenery outside of the window. Another cool feature is that if you check in on Yelp, you’ll receive $5 off any service. Now I must say, Elements is expensive, but, every little but helps. The couples massage was AMAZING! I was experiencing shoulder pain and after my massage, it was gone. This is definitely a place worth visiting if you want to relax.

Danae Wible I was looking for a “spa day”. Many places in Tahoe offer massage, although minimal amenities. Elements is nice because there is access to the lodge’s hot tub and sauna. The sauna was having some technical difficulty, although still quite warm. Above all, I had the best massage of my life, and I have had my fair share of massages. Stephan was truly amazing. Very intuitive, perfect pressure, and ambiance. 10/10. Such a wonderful retreat while on vacation. Highly recommend.

Joel Garrett Laid back no rush atmosphere, great location and a very detailed and personalized massage to address specific issues, not like those cookie cutter massages companies. The hotel looks cool to stay at as well, picture is their beach access area.

She provided me with helpful suggestions on how to better care for my skin. Additionally, the Eminence organic skincare line they offer is wonderful. Next up with Hawley is my eyebrows! Care G I love getting my nails done by Lillian! It is a very relaxing environment and Lillian is amazing at what she does. I have had my nails done and a spray tan. She has racks of colors to choose from. The spray tan looks natural and stayed even. I highly recommend her!

Robin Wilson I am in South Lake Tahoe for a few weeks and needed to fill on my acrylic nails. I popped in to see if they could fit me in. I was asked to come back in 1/2 hour. The spa in clean and very nicely kept. They did a nice job on my pink acrylics, but for some reason the woman working on me decito mix two pink colors to try and match what was used on my nails... It did not match so I suggested we paint my nails. Good job on nail shape and she was very gentle. Her ability to paint nails was very good. They dont speak very good English so it is very quiet, no small talk. Chairs are very comfortable. I would use them again.

Maya Krupa Love the Y Nail Spa! I’ve tried a ton of nail salons in Tahoe and this is by far my favorite Nancy is so sweet, gentle on your nails and detail oriented. My nails last forever and always feel / look natural - there’s no uneven edges or weird spots. I get a ton of complements - she has a bunch of unique colors/styles to choose from Yes there is a $25 deposit and only makes appts a day or so in advance, that’s fine for me. Prices are fair. Finally found my go to nail spot!

Kacie Nancy is truly a gem and I’m so glad I found her here in SLT! She’s a one woman shop, but I stopped by yesterday afternoon without an appointment, and she was able to fit me in for a deep red dipped manicure for the fall. Previously, I’ve been getting my nails done at another larger salon, so I was a bit nervous to try something new, but Nancy’s dipped manicure was far and above any manicure I’ve had elsewhere. I was so impressed with her attention to detail, artistic eye, and the pride she takes in her work. She truly took her time and gave me a beautiful rounded apex that I’ve never had in the past and didn’t realize was possible with a dipped manicure. I also appreciated her honesty— I asked for something fairly specific, but she wasn’t shy about giving advice on a shape that would look better for me (& I have to say she was right). We had a great chat. It is so clear that she loves her clients here in Tahoe, and cares about them deeply— Looking forward to working with her moving forward and am grateful to have found someone who is focused on ensuring I’m taken care of and leave happy with what I’m paying for ❤️ I will be back!
