5 /5 Maya Krupa: Love the Y Nail Spa! I’ve tried a ton of nail salons in Tahoe and this is by far my favorite Nancy is so sweet, gentle on your nails and detail oriented. My nails last forever and always feel / look natural - there’s no uneven edges or weird spots. I get a ton of complements - she has a bunch of unique colors/styles to choose from Yes there is a $25 deposit and only makes appts a day or so in advance, that’s fine for me. Prices are fair. Finally found my go to nail spot!

She’s a one woman shop, but I stopped by yesterday afternoon without an appointment, and she was able to fit me in for a deep red dipped manicure for the fall. Previously, I’ve been getting my nails done at another larger salon, so I was a bit nervous to try something new, but Nancy’s dipped manicure was far and above any manicure I’ve had elsewhere. I was so impressed with her attention to detail, artistic eye, and the pride she takes in her work. She truly took her time and gave me a beautiful rounded apex that I’ve never had in the past and didn’t realize was possible with a dipped manicure. I also appreciated her honesty— I asked for something fairly specific, but she wasn’t shy about giving advice on a shape that would look better for me (& I have to say she was right). We had a great chat. It is so clear that she loves her clients here in Tahoe, and cares about them deeply— Looking forward to working with her moving forward and am grateful to have found someone who is focused on ensuring I’m taken care of and leave happy with what I’m paying for ❤️ I will be back!

5 /5 Vicky: Service: Manicure I absolutely love my nails! Nancy requires a deposit of $25 through Venmo or Zelle before booking an appointment. She was extremely gentle with my nails. I showed her the design that I wanted and she did such an amazing job. There were many colors to choose from. The service she provided was good. She made me feel relaxed and comfortable. 5 /5 Jillian Sullivan: Nancy is the best! This is a long overdue review but I saw her last year before my elopement in Lake Tahoe. She did the best manicure/pedicure I’ve ever had and was meticulous in making sure my nails would look perfect in photos for my wedding day. I’ve never had anyone take such good care of my nails - by far the best manicure and pedicure I’ve ever had! Because she does her scheduling the way she does, she isn’t rushed and spends her time making sure she does a great job and doesn’t need to rush for the next person (because there wasn’t anyone else there waiting to be seen - it was just me!). Would definitely recommend.
