Jeremy Walker On the plus side, its a nice place with a peaceful waiting room, and the staff were courteous.
On the downside, my wife and I blew $300 on a deep tissue couples message, and we were both disappointed. Both therapists gave extremely light pressure, and it felt like deep tissue for *maybe* 5 min of my massage (and 0 of my wifes)
Basically, deep tissue is a scam here: dont waste your money on it ... or really on a massage here at all, unless you like the "hands slipping over your skin, but never actually touching muscle" kind of massage

Donna S This is my second visit to Blue Water Day Spa. I had an 80 minute Swedish massage with Joe. He is kind and has hands of gold- all my knots banished!

Jody Coronel Beautiful spa with the most amazing staff . I’m an athlete and I love to train hard and lift heavy. Andre is my absolute favorite massage therapist for many years now. He is highly skilled and knowledgeable. I go to him for both deep tissue and full body stretch services. He listens to what my needs are for that particular visit and works out all my tightness and knots . Larissa gives the most relaxing and rejuvenating facials. She is a talented esthetician. My skin looks glowing whenever I leave her. Highly recommend.

Elizabeth Hickman I absolutely loved this spa when it was located in South Lake Tahoe. My mom and I enjoyed coming here every summer when she comes to town to visit. Last Christmas, she purchased a gift certificate for me. Unfortunately, I decided to wait to use it until she came up to visit so that we could go together. I booked our appointments for 90 minute hot stone massages about a month in advance. We were looking forward to it and I was excited to redeem my gift certificate! About a week before our appointment, I received a call that the spa was closing permanently by the end of the day and our appointment would be cancelled. I inquired how I would be able to use my gift certificate and was told that they were still working that out, and that they might be launching an online store for product, or that my gift card would never expire and would always be valid at their Napa location. Note that Napa is 3 1/2 hours away from me. Unfortunately, because they closed with no notice, I didn’t have the opportunity to reschedule my massage appointment before they closed or to even go in to purchase any skin or body care products. I simply didn’t want the gift certificate to go to waste, but figured I would give the business time to sort something out. This was in July. In October, I decided to reach out again. This time, I sent an email explaining how my appointment was cancelled and I never had an opportunity to use the gift certificate and was wondering what they were offering to customers of the South Lake Tahoe location. I explained that traveling 3 1/2 hours to their Napa location for a massage is unrealistic. I received a quick reply from someone by the name of Kimberly who asked for the gift card number and said they had been issuing credit for the unused balance. I replied back with the gift card number and never received any further responses. Four days later, I emailed again, stating I was told credit was being issued for unused gift card balances and was wondering how to move forward with getting my gift card credit. This time, I got a response saying they didn’t know who told me they were issuing credit for South Lake Tahoe gift certificates and that they could still be used in the Napa location and that they would be launching an online product storefront. I wrote back with a screenshot of the email I had received signed by Kimberly stating they were issuing credit, and also asked when the online store would be opening and received no response.
I am disappointed because I had really enjoyed visiting the South Lake Tahoe location. I was given no notice about them closing in a timely manner, and driving 3 1/2 hours to their other location would involve purchasing a hotel room and the gas to get there and it just isn’t realistic for me to make a trip like that just to get a massage. However, I don’t want the generous gift from my mom to go to waste and would really love more information about how to resolve this issue.

Greg Ogarrio I lost my full body Swedish massage virginity here! And Im glad I did. The facility was right next door to where we stayed in Napa for the holidays, walking distance from the Andaz. From reception staff to masseuse Kate to owner Kimberly, I was in good hands, literally. I even lingered after my 50-minute session to chat with everyone, as the whole vibe at Blue Day was welcoming and, best of all, not rushed. My only regret: not booking an 80-minute session! Next time I will. By the way, Im not sure if its just a coincidence, but the night after my visit, I slept for ~12 hours total, including ~10 hours straight, which I never, ever do. Next time were staying in downtown Napa, I will be back.
