Pure Skin Spa - Napa Emily Allen: I called on a Friday not really expecting to hear that any weekend massage appointments were available, but the receptionist was very kind and accommodating. Then my massage was wonderful, the therapist professional, communicative, and very skilled at "reading" my body and what it needed. Pro tip: If you need deep tissue massage work done but havent had a good experience, try Sonja at Pure Skin Spa!
Mimis - Napa Sara Mendoza: Had my hair dyed, Noami did an amazing job. Way more than what I expected. She is very knowledgeable and so detailed. She listened to exactly what I wanted. I havenāt had my hair done in over 10 years because of the past experiences. This one was beyond satisfied. I giver her āļøāļøāļøāļøāļøāļøāļøāļøāļøāļø
The Spa at Silverado - Napa Candice Brenneman: I had a great massage. However, its a bit pricey and not the cleanest. When I was shown the locker room...there was a dirty bandaid on the floor that no one bothered to pick up. There were several workers who saw it too. There was also hair stuck to the shower wall and some showers didnt have a door....just a divider. This place can do better given that the spa services are so pricey. I live in NC and theyre cleaner, with a complimentary drink, and half the cost ($125)
Napa Valley Massage & Wellness Spa - Napa Lauren Barkley: As a local, I have been to many spas in town. This one really just gets it. The tea before service, the free sauna and red light therapy before your treatment (have to book in advance), and the attention to detail from the technicians were all top notch. I signed up for the membership because this is a ritual worth repeating.
Milton, my masseuse was beyond phenomenal. Iāve been going to many places looking for the right person and I have finally found someone who can deliver a therapeutic massage that also helps to open up tension. Heās so in tune with what your body needs and I could tell he understands body mechanics, much deeper than just your average therapist. When we were done I felt like he took a fine tooth comb through my muscles, which was amazing. Iām already looking forward to the next time Iāll be there.

Allure Nails Spa - Grass Valley Joni Sternberg: I asked for my gel to be taken off and regular polish and manicure. I kept asking my manicurist can clean up my nails and dry skin and she just couldnāt seem to do it properly. I eventually said not to worry about finishingā¦my nails actually look worse now than when I came in with my chipped gelā¦bummer.
They still asked for $25 after literally just taking off my gel( and not very well) and rubbing some bad cream into my hand.
I guess itās time to find a new salon!
Grass Valley Nails - Grass Valley M Norton: They took the time to do a fantastic job, would absolutely recommend for a dip powder manicure. My companion chose a deluxe pedicure and was really happy with that too.
TA Nails & Spa - Grass Valley cam m: 24 hours after I had a standard polish manicure ( no gels). I have never had polish come off like this so fast . I only wanted it to last 4 days so opted for regular polish. Not sure what went wrong.
If I had time before my event I would go back and ask them to fix it -
Embellish Nail Salon - Grass Valley Miranda Bloom: Mary did a fabulous job at fixing my previous manicure that I got elsewhere. She did exactly what I wanted and spent the time to do it right. They followed all the Covid protocols and made me fee very welcome. I will absolutely return!
Pampered Nails - Grass Valley Kelsey Kazarian: Pampered is the best salon to go to in the Nevada City/Grass Valley area. Iāve tried quite a few and truly nothing compares. Kayla & Kelly are both exceptional with nail art, and have all the latest nail trends/colors/chromes. I go to Kayla for acrylic & Kelly for pedicures, though Kelly does a great acrylic as well. Kellyās pedicures are the ABSOLUTE best ever. The staff is super kind & accommodating, and everyone is always super friendly. Itās a great vibe.
Bring a picture if you have one for nail art and you will not be disappointed. These have been my favorite sets.
