Before having a service with her I asked around to see if anyone could do nail art on my natural nails. To my surprise no one does that anymore, they only do acrylics. That is when I found Mireya. I remember the first time I went to her I was so nervous but she made me feel so welcomed. She talked to me as if we were best friends. She is super clean and makes sure she uses new equipment on me every time. Mireya is super talented in her work anything I want she makes it happen no matter how challenging it could be. She was hesitant to make them a shorter than the end of my toe. I explained that it would be uncomfortable if my toenails touch against the inside of my shoes. She understood and trimmed them perfectly. She did a beautiful job. And I’m super happy with her work.

I came back because I usually love coming here and I was a little disappointed this time Started with one woman and finished with Another it felt very rushed. My designs came out pretty bad and she put on clearcoat before finishing the design. Realize she messed up and didn’t fix. Just kept adding so one web looks really weird. I’m disappointed

I got shellac and every time they last 2 weeks but after 2 days I knew I messed up by going here for the first time. I just peeled off every nail so easily after not even a week. They are all thinner than my actual nail and I’ve never had shellac peel off easy. Very disappointed. Not really a clean salon either.

Consuelo Ms. Julie is my nail technician and she is absolutely amazing! She is so kind and patient also very accommodating. I’ve never been disappointed with her services. nermeen yousif Julie is a wonderful nail artist. I have been going there for 3 years and she has been doing beautiful designs on my nails. She is very creative and patient with my requests. She will see my photos and descriptions and go on and create fabulous designs. She always takes care of me and accommodates my emergency broken nail visits on short notice. She was especially helpful for my wedding day masterpiece. And her work lasted throughout my month long overseas trip for my honeymoon without breakage. And a special callout for Peter the receptionist for professionally handling appointments and hopefully he is not transferred to a different location.

Be Huynh This is my go to place for nails because Julie is the best. The shop is nice and clean and Julie has never disappoint. I always love my nails every time I’m here…the way she shapes my nails and the designs she’s able to do is amazing. I also never have any problems with my nails, they always last!!

Make my initial appointment as well as greeting me upon answering their establishment CJ was available to do my nails. I had a broken nail. He was very patient with me because my nail was in pain. He was gentle and offered me a solution to fixing my Nail. He also asked me for pictures for my design in which she was able to duplicate the design exactly how it was in the picture. Maria Retana One start just because I had to, too, be able to write this review. I came on Saturday and they did the most ugliest pedicure ever. They didnt even scrub my heels and the massage was like 5mins,I dont recommend this place. Even their prices are ridiculous and customer service all they do is speak in their language and make you feel very uncomfortable.

KA Soares Always such a pleasant experience! Jackie at the front desk is wonderful! She always greets me with a smile and good conversation. I get my nails done by EJ and I just love her! She can do pretty much anything you want color/design wise. She’s very thorough and always so kind. I’m a pretty basic, simple girl when it comes to my nails so this last time I told her EJ she could do whatever she wanted. She picked a gorgeous color that looked good with my skin tone and added a few adorable flowers. They are the perfect spring nails. I just love her!! During a time EJ was out I saw Giselle and she too did a great job! Educated me a little on my nails, which was nice and the color combo was just what I was looking for. I also get pedicures here but don’t see anyone specifically, they all seem to do a great job! Plus, many pedicure options to choose from. This is and has been my favorite nail salon since they opened, I won’t go anywhere else!

Jayleese Rock Good morning everyone, I am a transwoman and was looking for a good respectful nail shop locally. Found this shop and got booked 3 days before my appointment. Did not know this location was in McHenry village precisely otherwise probably would had went elsewhere being the uptight environment and conservative energy a lot of these shops have against trans LGBT individuals receiving services. I presented myself with my name ( which is female, my physical presentation, which is female socially ) and was called SIR by the nail tech who called me over to her station upon my entering the shop. One customer sitting across from my station kept staring at me the whole time and when the lady who booked me reads this she will remember I was the one who STILL gave her the 15 dollar tip only because I’m a minority they probably expected way less and she did loosen up upon our my time receiving services but to call me a sir was highly disrespectful and I encourage everyone there to look at presentation first and not call out opposite of what the person is presenting. It really is not that hard and if it’s still hard for you then a simple “ we don’t do designs here” would had been just as effective in communicating to me. I was slightly embarrassed but luckily I know who I truly am so did not bother me too much. Will not be receiving services here again though. Nail job was good but a very slight lumpiness on two of my fingers.

Roxie Roten My mom gifted me a day to get our nails done. We were in Modesto on some errands and the place we were going to didnt have amy walk ins available since it was Valentines day. We just happened to stumble on this place and Im so happy did!! My mom got a mani with gel paint and I hot these, Hon who did mine is absolutely UHHHHMAZING!!! They came out beautifully as well as my moms paint (a lifht peachy pink)!!! The atmosphere was super fun and some of the ladies were just hilarious!! The price was spot on too. I just moved to CA and if I had any friends here I would recommend them. However, I do not so yall who needs to get their claws on definitely come here!!!! Thanks Ladies!!!

Susan Rees I just moved to Modesto and my nephew took me to Royal Nails. The shop is bright, clean, cozy and upbeat. The Staff are all cordial and greet folks as they walk through the door. Its a small shop where everyone knows your name and even customers know other customers. Devon will definitely be my go-to for all my mani/pedi needs.

Layla Abraham They are so amazing here! My mom and I go all the time and it is our #1 nail place. They are so nice and talk to you about anything. The problem with most nail places is that they just sit and do your nails and never talk to you, the workers at royal do though! For prom, I asked to recreate a (kind of) difficult nail design, in all they turner out great

Kristina Ruble Nice and friendly, but not easy for walk ins to get in. This is probably the most expensive place I have ever had my nails done. The add up charges for every little thing on top of the base price, they added a charge for removing my polish. I came in in Birkenstocks and she said I couldnt use them and charged me another dollar to for the disposable flip flops. They wouldnt cut the ingrown on my big toe and it ended up costing $80.

Glaire Batomalaque I’ve been here once before and enjoyed the way they did my nails so I decided to try them again. The nail tech was very polite, unfortunately she was very rushed with everything she did. I think it was because I was just a walk in and her next appointment came in maybe the last 20 minutes of her doing my nails. In the end I didn’t have time to look over my nails and ended up paying $50 for a lumpy, uneven, and streaky set. I don’t think walk in or appointment should change the quality you give to your customer, especially if they’re the ones who agreed to take the walk in.

Rachel Cisneros Had an acrylic overlay and nails fell off six hours later. They lifted, not one but all of them! Worst salon I ever been to. Don’t go here! I had a trade show to go see clients and this was awful! Didn’t have time to get them done again before the show and this place cost me over 60 bucks! Unbelievable! I do not think the people there are all licensed to work here.
