Roz Adl Hi Everyone I am visiting this amazing place for all my beauty needs and definitely would recommend it to everyone. The crew is super professional the quality of material they use is number 1. Also I would like to talk about the design. Indoor decoration looks super cute and it’s the cleanest salon I have ever been , they are always treating clients with small cookies and a cup of coffee. Beside all this the services they provide is top quality and I would like to let you know that this place literally worth visiting.

Regina Gomez I booked a same-day appointment online for 1:30 PM and arrived about 20 minutes early, offering to wait if needed. However, they were able to take me right away! Anna serviced me, and she was wonderful—so sweet, and we had such a great conversation. I usually get gel manicures as a treat since I have thin nails, but Anna recommended structure gel to help strengthen them, as she uses it on her own nails. I took her advice, and I can definitely feel the difference! The ladies also took the time to help me pick the perfect color, making sure I was 100% happy before applying it, which I really appreciated. You can tell they truly care about their clients. I had such a great experience and am already looking forward to my next visit! :)

Brittany Gates Had a really excellent experience for my first time ever at Nails by Aloha. Alice made me feel very welcome and well-taken care of for my gel manicure and reflexology pedicure. Both exceeding my expectations on thoroughness and skill. I will be coming back and using Nails by Aloha and my new monthly nail spot. Maybe even get an oil change next door!

Mary Goldman Best nail salon in La Crescenta!! I’ve been to tons of nail salons near by and this is the BEST OF THE BEST!! Super clean, quiet and the sweetest nail techs. They have the best color selection I’ve ever seen and offer all the types of nails you’d want (gelX, structure gel, builder gel etc). The builder gel I got looked the best it ever has - so thin and natural. My daughter got a super cute design and it looks like a Pinterest photo. Definitely go here!!!

Jill Guidote I only write bad reviews when I feel its warranted. This, unfortunately, is one of those instances. I needed a fresh dip powder manicure because my hands were being used for some videos. I had been doing dip for at least a month, and my nails had been long, strong, and shaped into almond. My usual salon was closed, and I needed to find a place quickly because the shoot was the next day. I called this place and asked if they did dip powder. They said yes. They allowed me to come in immediately as a walk in which I appreciated, especially since they only had 2 people working. However, I should have realized this was a mistake when I didnt see any powders to choose from on the wall next to the polish, nor did they have a catalog to pick colors from. She soaked my nails in acetone for almost an hour. The glitter powder was ugly, but it would do for the shoot, so whatever. Beggers couldnt be choosers in this situation. It was becoming more apparent that she had never done a dip powder manicure before. She only put one gel top coat on, and suddenly, she was done. They felt super thin. The cost was $10 more than my usual place. Come the next day of the shoot, my nails break while Im handling stuff. My thumb and index were completely broken. I had to drive 45 minutes from where we were shooting and call my salon on the way to fit me in the last minute to fix what had been broken. Holding up the film production. Despite this salon accommodating me, this ended up being a waste of money and costing me more money and time to fix. It held up filming, and it ruined the month long work my nail tech and I had put into making my nails long and nice. My nails had been so strong. So I have to now cut them short and start all over again. I would have preferred the salon be honest and not said yes they could do something they clearly couldnt. Despite that, the salon is very clean and the chairs and stations are very clean. I hope the business learns from this in the future. I certainly have.

Op Kakarot (REFERRING TO NEW NAIL BUSINESS IN THAT LOCATION) Completely messed up my eyebrows, I had told them I didn’t want to take anything off the ends and to emphasize the arch. It seemed they completely ignored my request and just did whatever they wanted because when I looked in the mirror, my eyebrows were COMPLETELY STRAIGHT, no arch. Aside from this, the lady rests her entire arm across your face, and there’s nowhere to lay down or even rest your head back when having your eyebrows done. If that wasn’t bad enough, when it was time to pay, it was $11 with the discount, normally $14. Considering they have nearly zero proper equipment set up and little to no experience in what they’re trying to do, it surprised me that they charged so much when most places charge $8-10 on average for eyebrows. Really disappointed in the service I received and will not be returning

Bailey Drucker I was leaving on a 6+ week trip, and I knew it would be a month before I could get my nails done again. I asked for tips, and they ended up doing an extra coat of what I can only assume is MAGIC, because my nails still looked AMAZING after a month (grown out of course, but still very neat)!!!! In fact, I got engaged 2 days before the month mark, and people thought I had just gotten them done! Cannot recommend them enough if you want a long lasting manicure!

While it hasn’t been long my nails have lasted over a month each time. I also bring my daughter to her and she loves her nails every time.

Narine Khechumyan I’ve been going to Meg for years and I’m always thrilled with her work. I go in with color/design inspo, or we brainstorm together because I trust her. She takes her time to make sure each step is perfect, so if you’re looking for a quick nail job, this isn’t it. I’ve never had my polish peel or nails break, and they last for weeks. Parking is easy and her space is clean - I can’t recommend her enough!

Kristy Walker I hadn’t had my nails done in years, but picked this salon based on reviews. I couldn’t be happier. The nail tech was very nice and patient with me. She didn’t sand down my natural nail so much that it hurt (which has happened in the past). And she didn’t cut my cuticles too short either.

The Witching Hour is an intimate and clean nail salon that really takes the time to treat your nails with care! The photo attached is my manicure at 2 weeks, still lovely and not chipped! Steven did my pedicure hes very friendly and gave me the perfect pedicure! Perry did my dip power ombre full set, she was quick and I love my nails!! Ez parking also a plus! Holly Walker I find it very disappointing to be a new customer and I had to wait an hour for my appointment even though I had already made my appointment I had to wait for a very long time. I was told that someone would be helping me in a few minutes but I didnt expect to have that long too wait. I figured it would be a 15 to 20 minute wait at most but an hour is really pushing it. And when the technician finally came to help me all she said was thank you for waiting not apologizing for taking so long. Its not good customer service to do that to customers and make them wait for a long time and they are new. I understand that the technicians are busy but there has to be better time management and making sure customers are feeling comfortable. I was not comfortable. I didnt think I would have to wait an hour either and not be told that it would take longer than a few minutes. The technician really didnt do a great job. Just mediocre. She didnt even give me a massage for my hands and arms and she barely gave me a massage for my feet and legs. She didnt help me out of the chair and she was really not very nice. I understand that the place was busy but I didnt feel taken care of by the staff. I read the reviews and thought this place would be a good place but I was disappointed with the long wait for an hour and the lack of communication and customer service. This was my first visit and more than likely my last. If I had driven myself I would have left but my friend took me so I waited but I dont think it is right for your staff not to be more diligent about time management and better customer service. Be attentive to all customers and make sure they are comfortable with how long it is taking especially when they made an appointment and they have to wait for a really long time and your staff needs to communicate better with the clients and not just talk about clients with other staff but make sure the client is comfortable and not waiting for an hour to get service especially when the client is new and not feeling comfortable with the lack of communication and customer care.

Ana Mejia Varsek did an amazing job! It was my first time going to this location and she made me feel catered to. She takes her time making sure your nails look perfect. Definitely will be coming back again and recommending others to this location.

Time Sands “Sands of Time” Aimee, Tiffany, and the rest of the ladies offer the best customer service! They have been taking care of my nails, waxing and massage since 2009. My nails always receive compliments not to mention my eyebrows! They can make any nail design, length or shape of nails. Make sure to make an appointment so that you can be seen. They never refuse walk-ins but I recommend calling before going. Great parking and everyone is so nice and helpful. Tellem Sands sent you, from the Google reviews.

Amireh Babaian (I had to repost this because i accidentally deleted it when trying to post my third visit with Hannah) Hannah did my nails today (08/24/23) and I absolutely love them! Her technique wasn’t uncomfortable at all. I got black coffin nails with gold glitter on the ring fingernails. She only took an hour. Overall good experience and I’ll be coming back to her next time.

D N One of the worst experiences of my life. They kept getting costumers and didn’t really do a good job. They were rushing and took 3 hours to get a pedicure and manicure. If you are like me that doing your nails is a pampered experience. AVOID THIS PLACE!! Left super stressed

Anu Kirupananthan Skip this place. They gave me a nail file to file the ends of my nails after I got home instead of doing a solid job in shop. I was also told the hair from my toes got into the nail polish. Haha! Even if this was true, maybe not something you tell your customer?

True Taurus First time visiting the salon. I was a walk in requesting a pedicure and manicure. I had an old set of powered gel acrylic nails that needed to be removed. It was a hard task but Thanks to Ruby she saved the day. My hands and feet were pampered and I love the quality of the service I received. I will definitely be returning.

Chloe Hartounian I refuse to go to anyone else to get my nails done. Arsineh is the best! I had a bad experience at a nail salon a few years ago, so ever since then I get very anxious getting my nails done. Arsineh is the only nail tech who has been respectful of my boundaries and is very gentle with cuticle care. My gel pedicures last for WEEKS! Not to mention she is incredibly sweet and just a pleasure to be around.

Brittany Maddock Went here for the first time today and absolutely LOVED IT! Kristine was my nail tech, and she paid such good attention to detail, and asked me what I liked and wanted adjusted along the way. Overall vibe of the salon is so nice, calming and extraordinarily clean. I got Gel X nail extensions done with nail art for a convention this week and they turned out great! Will definitely refer friends.

S.H. Jacobs This is THE nail salon to go to. Id bet my hard-earned money that you wont find a classier spot anywhere. I got a Russian manicure with hard gel that lasted 4 weeks! The best part is it looked so thin and incredibly natural. If youve never had a Russian manicure I plead with you to get one here, just once. Try it! I initially thought ""Russian Manicure" was just a gimicky way of advertising but no, theres a real difference. They are so meticulous and genuinely care about the health and quality of your natural nail. My manicure was over an hour. The pedicure was also ridiculously ahmaazzzing! The technician opened up a packet of "olive" scented goodies and put this concoction in my pedicure bath. I cant stress enough how luxurious it was. She then proceeded to pamper my feet with such care that I wondered if they thought I was a celebrity. When I glance around though, I saw they treated everyone this way. Whaaaat! This place is next level. And if you go, make you check out the bathroom which is so exquisitely designed that it belongs in a high-end hotel. I will NEVER go anywhere else!

Tracy Simms My daughter and I visited this nail salon on 11/30/24 to celebrate her 19th birthday. I found this place on Google for Russian manicure and they do a FANTASTIC job and we will be back VERY soon. The customer service is GREAT, snacks, coffee and water are offered. The manicurist take their time and when theyre done your hands and nails look like the women in the fashion magazine. OMG the hand lotion that they use is good quality, none of that cheap lotion at your average nail salon. The nail salon itself is BEAUTIFUL, modern and classy. I raved about this place to a couple of co-workers and they are looking forward to their visit. Trust me you will not be disappointed coming here.

Dee Tramboni Gel x nails were done by an older Asian lady that didnt know where the nail tips were. That should have been my sign that she had no idea what she was doing, but I already waited 30 minutes after my appointment to be taken care of. One nail popped off a few days later, and I had to reshape them myself. Paint job was lumpy.
