Sumi Shin Kathy is so nice and amazing. Kathy has been doing my hair since 25 years ago at Apgujeong Salon and also she did my hair at Aritaum Salon in Irvine. She has now moved to Kathy Salon inside Sora Salon in Irvine and Kathy always does the best haircuts and perms. She does digital perms and ombre balayage hair styles so beautifully. I will follow her wherever she works. I have moved to Utah now but when I have time and when I need go in Orange County I go to her get my hair done. Kathy is the best hairdresser. Pei Liu Kaison’s studio is super clean and organized, and you can tell right away he’s a total pro. I’ve always struggled with frizzy, curly hair, and I’ve wanted smooth, manageable hair for ages. Kaison made it happen! He’s really easy to talk to and always gets exactly what I want. Plus, he’s always ready to go when I get there, so we start right on time. I’m beyond happy with my hair. Ive been going to her for over 5 years now because I trust her to get good, consistent results with my hair (straight & fine Asian hair, usually buzzed #1 on the sides while keeping it long up top). I cant say that about a lot of other places Ive been, so Ive highly recommended Leila to friends and family. I asked for a 2 block cut haircut with a lower taper and thats what I got. Make sure you show a picture too. He leans more on the korean styles but Im sure he can cut whatever you ask him too. Price is affordable and fair given his experience! Super nice and Im definitely going to go again.

Seymour Titt BEST HAIRDRESSER IN THE UNIVERSE ! My wife and I found Alan when we moved to Irvine a couple of years ago. Alan is still in Irvine..we are not. We make the drive from San Clemente these days..exceptionally talented hairdressers like Alan are very hard to find. And he doesnt operate out of a fancy salon with a big sign outside...just a simple cubicle with everything he needs. The prices are reasonable for the top quality work. WE LOVE ALAN !

Adrian Pan ツ It was my first time getting a haircut in Irvine and Alan did an excellent job with my 2-block haircut! He paid close attention to detail and made sure everything was clean and sharp since I had natural curly hair. On top of that, he was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I was especially surprised and impressed that he could speak Cantonese and Toisanese, which made the experience even better since it is very hard to find people that speak those 2 languages here. It’s not easy to find someone so skilled and welcoming—definitely recommending him to others!

Alaa Adam The most wonderful hair experience I have had by far! First of all, Joy’s punctuality and professionalism was so apparent throughout the entire appointment! It was like getting my hair done at my friends house! I also really appreciated her checking in with me every few minutes about the tension of the locs and made sure they weren’t tight or bothering me! As for the hairstyle!! Omggg!! I got soft faux locs for the first time but definitely not the last and definitely always getting them here. The hair is light and fluffy, the locs are not tight at all and the flexibility of the hair is amazing! The edges were laid with her amazing edge control and I left the salon looking like a billion bucks. I will definitely be going only to her from now because of her incredible energy and vibes and her wonderful work!

Austin Suh Ive been going to Nicole for the past 3 years! I could tell you that for mens hair, shes attentive to detail and styles it exactly how you want it, but also works pretty quick. Very easy to set up an appointment either through text or Yelp. She has drinks (coffee, tea etc) and snacks readily available for you to eat while waiting or after youre done! Shes a pretty chill barber and affable. Id highly recommend her to other men looking for a haircut!

Harin Kim I went to Nicole for the very first time this past Saturday to get the hair straightening perm done on my very unruly, thick hair. I moved to SoCal last year for my job and have been desperately trying to find a hairdresser that can actually work with my hair. I went to this one salon in Garden Grove, and let me tell you she really messed up my hair (the haircut was awful and my hair was absolutely fried from a poor perm job) to the point where my self-esteem got really low for a while. I still cant believe I paid that much for that god awful hair job. What is even worse is that I paid premium for the head designer to do my hair but she just got her assistants to do most of the work. I actually put off going to a salon for several months due to this horrible experience but decided to try again with Nicole after seeing her reviews--especially the ones that mention how theyve been going to her for years. The verdict: I absolutely LOVE the haircut she gave me as well as the perm. I actually waited until the first hair washing day after the perm to write this review because thats the real test. All kinds of products can be used at the salon to make the hairstyle look smooth and pretty, but will it hold up at home? And hell yea it did. Her price is very reasonable for SoCal and the haircut was actually included in the price of the perm. She does everything herself, and I noticed during the 4 hours I was at her shop that she takes great pride in her work and so naturally will look after your hair as if its her own. I am so glad I found Nicole, and I will for sure be going to her for years to come. This review lowkey sounds paid for now that Im re-reading it (lol) but I swear its not. My confidence really suffered bc of my previous experience, which is why I am so so grateful I finally found someone I can trust my hair with.

Denny Dennis Got haircuts from at least 30+ barbers and neither were good, came here, everything was excellent . I didn’t have any problems with my haircut, flexed on all my friends. This place is just as good as any other professional barber shop. Prices are unbelievably low for such a great haircut and I just don’t know what more to say.
