Martina Trejo All of the reviews are true. One Nail Studio is amazing. Tris did my manicure and pedicure and the quality was worth every penny. I’ve tried a lot of the salons in the Otay Ranch/Eastlake area and haven’t been fully satisfied. That was not the case with Tris. She paid great attention to detail, was gentle while removing my previous gel polish, and checked in throughout my service to make sure I was happy with her work. Not to mention, she’s very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I’m so glad I tried this salon and will definitely be back!

I went in today asking for something a little different for Valentine’s Day and my girl Cindy delivered ! Gemsofthewild This nail salon is one of the best in the entire country. I travel full time and I am SO glad I picked this salon to get a fresh Gel X set. I was greeted and welcomed from the moment I stepped foot in the door. All of the ladies were so nice and the energy was so positive in the salon. They had really good music playing as well which made it that much more enjoyable. The salon was clean and very well kept. Kathy did my nails and let me say, she NAILED it! 10/10. MaryEllen Richmond All these Nail techs are great artist. They take their time no rush but if your in a hurry they try their hardest to get you out quick! They don’t question any idea wanted. I will wait before I go any where else. You don’t have kids running around it’s a calm relaxing little place to get away. I’ve had every nail tech do my nails and none have ever failed. The Manager is a doll! Great customer service. I recommend picky nail people to trust these ladies.

C G I went in for an acrylic black stiletto set, and Jazmine was amazing! It was my first time getting my nails done at a salon and she made the experience go better than I couldve imagined. Overall cute little shop, and Im more than pleased with my new nails. I knew by my second appointment, that Jazmine is my go to for my nails. She has a great persona, and I love working with her. My fiancé got a full set and pedi and the level pampering was way above our expectations. Jacqueline Guerra I had a pedicure and attempted to have a fill of acrylic nails done at this particular spot for the first and unfortunately, the last time on 10/26/2018. When I arrived the lady there said I had to wait for a fill because she was the only one there that did fills. I saw two other workers sitting there. One of the the 2 workers did my pedicure, and it was just a basic pedicure, no calus removal or any other special serivices and gel color. They charged me 33 dollars for that. When the pedicure was finished, the lady again said if I could wait for the fill or if I could back later because she was doing another coustumers nails. Mind you it was around 12 noon. I informed the lady I could not wait, but that I would come back later. I did leave and came back around 130pm, and again the lady had 1 customer there, and another worker on her cell phone, and she said she could not do my fill today and to come back tomorrow. Both of the times I walked in there was only one person recieving services. No one else. I just walked right out and ended up getting my nails done somewhere else. I was not at all impressed with their services and will defintely not come back. On top of that, there is no price list posted as for the customers to know what to expect. I have found that when you walk in to a salon and there are prices posted, they end up charging way more that at other places for similar services. For this I would recomend other to just go else where and save your money and time.

Melissa Rubio I was able to get a dipping powder removal and a gel mani as a walk in past 6 pm. Tiffany was the best cuticle remover ever!!! Best manicure ever :) Working in the medical field, washing hands a trillion times+hand sanitizer can cause cuticle nightmares!! She was very thorough with her job. Tiffany was very fast, yet gave me a very nice looking gel manicure. You can tell she is an experienced and skilled nail technician :) There were only two ladies there the day of my visit, so if you are looking for a place with many nail technicians... this may not be the place to go. I definitely will return :)

Kiara Moreno First time coming here and I loved the service! I cant remember her name but the nail tech I had was super sweet and went over her work over and over making sure it was right and asked me if it was okay too. 10/10 I would recommend this place and come back again for Halloween nails. This set was $65 and I left her a $20 tip. Edit: 8/28 only a week and I lost 2 nails already.

Massage chairs worked my back and neck (you must lean back fully and RELAX) and lower leg massage performed by manicurist. I chose gel polish for hands and regular polish for nails. Nami, the daughter, kindly educated me on the various types of nails they offer. She was so nice to have conversation with. For super creative ideas, check out their website!!! *Two-hour parking meters around the shop, so it is best to park in the garage across the street(behind the gym) for three FREE hours.

Blanca Montejano I love coming to Maile Nails. Maile is wonderful. I have sensitive nails and she takes great care to make sure the equipment she uses doesnt hurt me plus her designs are always top notch. She takes great pride in her work and you can see it in the end results.

Joanna Thomas So, I called this place a few weeks before making a trip out for my wedding. Originally I wanted to get nails and lashes done here, but the lash tech had just left on a month long vaca right before I called, and wouldnt be back until the week after my wedding. No big deal. I was able to schedule a nail appointment, and the location was right around the corner from our airbnb. The customer service was awesome...at first. The, I believe, owner, called me the day before to see if I could come in even earlier...absolutely! So, I show up and ask for an ombre full-set and show her my inspo pic. She tells me how shes gonna do it, milky white and then add glitter on top. I said, no, this is supposed to be glitter first, and then milky on top. She said, no, trust me, Ive done this before. Then she asked how long I wanted my nails, I showed her, and she cut them much longer, but told me when she shaped them shed file a lot off. She asked shape and I told her square, to which she said shed give me coffin. I said, no, I want square, I dont like coffin on fingers. She said, it will look much better, and I said, no, it wont. I dont like how it looks on me. She acts like she agrees. She proceeds to do my nails, barely filing anything off, and shaping them coffin. Near what she thought was the end she says, "what do you think?" I said they needed to be much shorter, and showed her, again, where I wanted them. She got visibly frustrated and told me I should have said something earlier. I told her I did and she told me shed file a lot off. She had other customers starting to arrive, so she had to fix it quickly, so luckily I did not end up with coffin because she had to cut and file so much that they ended up square (yay for me). But, the end result looks very little like the inspo pic. The only saving grace was that, even with tip (and I typically tip well regardless...I just tip VERY well if Im happy), I spent less than expected. Like, with tip, was less than the price for the service shown online. 1st two attached photos are a couple of the inspo pics. The last is the final result of my nails.

Stephanie Cadenas it took almost 3 hours just to get some medium square acrylic French tips. Also had to stay an hour after closing. Once the time came to apply the French tips, the stylist tried to convince me to go with another style. I’m guessing because French tip takes longer. Mind you I had already told the stylist that I wanted French tip since the beginning of the service my nails look like they’re different lengths, they don’t look clean, just overall don’t look good. I had to fix them and file them when I got home myself. My friend however got her nails soaked off, and got a full new set and they finished with her faster then me, and left very happy with her nails. As for me. no.

Joselin Reyes I have been coming here to get my pedicures for the better part of about a year. The first few times I went in the service was good. The last few times I have gone in, it had always been one thing or another. The second to last time I came, I asked for a deluxe pedicure and was charged the most expensive one. I paid regardless for the services but was not happy with the miscommunication from the nail tech. She also rubbed my legs so hard with her nails that she left nail marks on my legs. This most recent visit, my husband came with me to get a pedicure. We both received express pedicures. The nail tech who did his pedicure did not ask how much he wanted to cut and left his nails extremely short. He says they hurt when he walks around from how short they are. He was also wincing a lot when his nail tech was removing the skin from the sides of the toes and said it was painful. We are extremely dissatisfied with how they look. I waited for my pedicure as all staff were busy and I didnt mind. What I do mind is being harassed and questioned as to why I am getting an express pedicure and not a deluxe. I was also called cheap when I said I did not want gel polish since I wanted to give my nails a break. They have felt flimsy and thin since most of the time they file the color and dont do a soak off. She also left my nails uneven. We paid for our services and left. We will not be back, and I would recommend you to look somewhere else.
