Nails were good quality but service is horrible. Also not that I expect special treatment because I’m pregnant but they saw I was pregnant and didn’t bother to help me out of chair or with anything. So rude.
Boudoir Nail Bar - Chula Vista Tress: I want to say, everyone was very nice. The service provided was done so with the greatest of customer service, and for that I am very pleased.
I imagine this is the kind of place a bridal party would go for mimosas, while they get their nails done for a wedding...
Since Im not looking to drink while I get my nails done and part of the experience Im looking for is the massage, foot and chair, to top off, the prices are higher than average, I personally wont be returning.
The shop looks like it was really nice when it opened. Although, the decor has lost its luster, which seems to be the main appeal after the fact that its an actual bar that serves alcohol.
My nails came out fine, no better than anywhere else Ive been, but about 10-15% more expensive.
The girl who did my nails was really nice but very light handed. I didnt feel the message, and thats my favorite part. The chairs are oversized and comfortable, but theyre not massage chairs. I ended up going to Happy Head after.
Again, I had no issues with the service or any of the people that work there, this place just isnt for me.
C & L Nail & Spa - Chula Vista Tara Smith: I was very disappointed when I went one week ago had an appointment and Lisa was my nail tech. I could tell her mood was off but I didn’t say anything but hi and let her know what services I would like. I thought everything was good until I asked her to check my ingrowns and she clipped and was pulling them in one pull I was like ok then when it was time to do my wax she went so fast had my big toe out of the bag then insults to injury never painted my third toe on right foot my second toe polish fell off couple days later I drive 1hour and a half to join my son at the salon for relaxing experience. I will not be returning everyone else in the shop has been nice not sure what happened with Lisa on that day Take care all will take my hard earned money elsewhere I was tipping her 15 dollar previous but that day tipped her 8 dollars and wish I would have kept my money

Im thrilled every time I walk out the door. Extremely reasonable pricing and hardly ever a wait-- plus you can schedule your appointment ahead online, which I love. FIVE STARS

Kathys Nails & Spa - Chula Vista Marla Arciniega: I know that trusting others with clipping my nails is a risk. I know mistakes happen. What I don’t appreciate about this place is that they really tried to make me believe I walked in with a “stubbed toe and broken nail” when really my nail tech made a mistake. She tried to cut straight across rather than realizing I have a curbed nail with curbed tissue. When I realized her mistake we went back and forth for a bit then the manager stepped in to repeat that I had stubbed my toe when clearly you can see the clean cut from the clippers. I liked the place, clean and staff is friendly but I did not appreciate the way they handled this mistake. I’m glad I’m not injured.
NAILCESSITY - Chula Vista Lizette Mathiasen: I have been going to Tina for years for services; she is the only one in trust for my ingrown toe nails. Cindy did a great job on my manicure. My nail needs are simple, only mani/pedi, however, I have observed Ivys artistry with more complex nails. They are as beautiful as they are complex and customers are happy with their results.
Alebrijes Nails and Spa - Chula Vista Niki Anstrand: I am so glad Alebrijes is so close to my home. I have been coming here for almost two years now, and Sandra does an absolutely amazing job on my nails every single time (I have gotten sculpture gel and acrylic nails with gel polish, both shiny and matte styles in a variety of colors). I have also gotten pedicures from multiple women who work here and my toes always come out amazing, and everyone who works here has been really kind and welcoming to me. I even recently brought one of my best friends who was visiting from Florida to come get a pedicure with me from Alebrijes, and not only did she love how her pedicure came out, but she also said the salon was the most beautiful nail salon she had ever been in, which I absolutely agree with. You can definitely tell that all the women who work at Alebrijes take a lot of pride in their work, and the beauty, cleanliness and atmosphere of the salon. I was surprised tonight to see that there are some negative reviews on here from people saying that there was no parking or that they didnt like that the salon is appointment only. I come here every two weeks, and my appointments have been all different days of the week and times of day, and there is always parking right around the corner at Santa Venetia park, I have literally never had a single issue finding basically half the parking lot open there. Of course, if youre only looking to park in the spaces right in front of the salon youll have an issue, because those spots are notoriously always taken, but the park I park at is only a minute and a half walk from the salon, is free and always has spots so I always go straight there. I have also always had a good experience with their online booking, it is super easy to add services or guests, but I do make sure to try to book ahead for my fills because they are very popular and its important to book ahead of time if you have a busy schedule. The fact that they are appointment-only is a good sign to me, because they provide high-quality service and therefore are busy because they are in high demand. Also, their sugar scrub that they give you to wash your hands with after a manicure smells AMAZING, I always leave Alebrijes super happy and relaxed. I very highly recommend this salon and will continue to be a customer and bring my friends for spa days for as long as I live in the area.
LU-AN nails & spa - Chula Vista Miki: Major communication problem. I asked what are “healthy nails” or “delux nails” on the touch panel upon checking in, the lady told me “just pick one” without any explanation. The nail technician was surly… I asked if she was going to take care of cuticles, she said “yes manicure” so I gave up (she did take care of cuticles quickly after nail polish was all done) I liked how nails came out, but the service was not match to other places I’ve even to to say the least. So no repeat. I usually leave 20% tip but not this time
