1 /5 X Joseph (Joe): was fully intending to leave a five-star review, as the pedicure started off great. However, the experience with the manicure was completely out of line and unprofessional. I highly recommend that anyone visiting this salon ask for pricing upfront to avoid surprises.
The pedicure itself was excellent—almost an hour of service for $65, plus I tipped an additional $20. However, the manicure was disappointing. As a male client, I don’t require nail polish, just a quick buff-in, which was only done on my hands and took about two or three minutes. No cuticle softener was applied, and my cuticles weren’t pushed back, just quickly trimmed. While the massage was nice, it felt odd that the same foot cream I had already paid for was used on my hands.
To make matters worse, the manicure was performed by the owner, who was also my cashier. I was initially charged $65 for the manicure (25 mins of labor/ service), but when I questioned it, the price was suddenly reduced to $55. Transparency and honesty with clients should be a top priority, rather than making them feel taken advantage of. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
