3 /5 Tress: I want to say, everyone was very nice. The service provided was done so with the greatest of customer service, and for that I am very pleased. I imagine this is the kind of place a bridal party would go for mimosas, while they get their nails done for a wedding... Since Im not looking to drink while I get my nails done and part of the experience Im looking for is the massage, foot and chair, to top off, the prices are higher than average, I personally wont be returning. The shop looks like it was really nice when it opened. Although, the decor has lost its luster, which seems to be the main appeal after the fact that its an actual bar that serves alcohol. My nails came out fine, no better than anywhere else Ive been, but about 10-15% more expensive. The girl who did my nails was really nice but very light handed. I didnt feel the message, and thats my favorite part. The chairs are oversized and comfortable, but theyre not massage chairs. I ended up going to Happy Head after. Again, I had no issues with the service or any of the people that work there, this place just isnt for me.

I had booked online with a specific nail tech for a acrylic fill with gel color for $58 (which in my opinion is already pricey but I was prepared to pay it to experience a new salon with possibly a higher quality result) When I sat down, she quoted my nails $70. I was in shock and confused at whether or not she was making a mistake or not. I thought to myself, “maybe this isn’t the nail tech I requested” or “maybe she thinks I have requested a design, hence the extra charge” That was not the case, the reason was because the original nail set was not done by her and it would require “more work”. What is unfair in this experience is I was UNAWARE of how they price when I thought the charge would be $58 as it stated online. I expressed to the nail tech that I still would like to continue being that I arranged and scheduled my time to dedicate that hour to my nails and would not be able to come another time/day. Overall, as I mentioned earlier, she did a great job but the stores policy is not fair. Be aware that the price they state is not always what you will pay for reasons apparently they only know.

However, I must convey my disappointment with the quality of service I received during my visit on Sunday. Upon browsing your online portfolio, I was impressed by the pristine quality of the nail work showcased. However, the reality of my experience fell far short of these expectations. Within mere days of my visit, the nail polish began to crack and chip, leaving me dissatisfied with the longevity of the service. Furthermore, I observed that the application of both nail and toe polish was noticeably uneven, indicating a rushed and subpar execution of the job. As a paying customer, it is disheartening to invest in a service only to find the results do not meet the standards advertised by the company. I believe it is essential for a business to uphold the standards depicted on their website, as this forms the basis of customer expectations. Regrettably, my recent experience at Boudair Nail Bar has left me feeling let down. I trust that you value customer feedback and will take the necessary steps to address these concerns, ensuring future patrons receive the quality of service they rightfully expect.

5 /5 Cecelia McLain: Anna did an amazing job on my nails. I was a walk in and she made time for me. She was quick and polite. I would highly recommend this company. I will be back to see her again.

5 /5 Chen Chrissy Rinka “Rinka”: Im not from around here; Im here for work. I walked in to make an appointment for a Sunday service for my pedicure and gel manicure. The front desk was very nice, and the receptionists name is Victoria. My manicurist, Anna, was very nice, sweet, and professional. She was also very patient and understanding. My pedicurist, Alan, was gentle with my toe for my ingrown toenail. The whole service here was nice, and I felt comfortable. Ill definitely come back here when I visit San Diego again and strongly recommend Alan and Anna.
