Grant Smith Wish I could give negative stars. The front desk staff was great, by the time I was able to see the Dr. she walked in and basically yelled at me "Your teeth have a ALOT of problems! What is it you want to do today?!" I started explaining to her that I was in a traumatic accident many years ago and suffered significant trauma to my teeth. In the middle of my sentence the Dr. just walked away. I waited and when she came back I restarted to tell her my history and she interrupted and said "Ok but what is it you need to today!" I told her that I was in a lot of pain from one of my back teeth. She said "Yeah, you need a root canal. You have a lot of problems." She said it would be nearly $4,000 and I needed to pay today before they could do anything. I explained that I worked for a non-profit and dont make a lot of money but I do have insurance. The Dr. said my insurance was terrible and doesnt cover anything. She said she could get the price down to $3,000 but not much more. I told her I didnt have the money for that. Dr said they couldnt help me then. This pain has been keeping me awake at night and making me nauseous during the day. I begged them, if there was anything I could do to help relieve the horrible pain, its effecting my every day life. She said nothing they could do about it and if I wanted to relieve my pain I should get better insurance and come back. If you rich, or have government benefits this would be a good place to go. If your lower middle class struggling to get by, they dont care about you.

Sam Stipp I thought the employees were somewhat rude. I mean what kind of doctor walks up and first thing out of her mouth is your not gonna be happy cause you dont have that much bottom bone. Well Ive had the dentures in wearing for last 10 years and have never been able to wear the bottoms for just about the whole time. Understand I dont have a problem with someone being direct but she came off a little to harsh. Kinda made me think in the way does this lady even like the job she went through school to do!!

D Mitch I have attended three separate appointments, only to be provided with three entirely different treatment plans by three different dentists. Despite having full coverage dental insurance, I have yet to receive any actual treatment for the persistent dental pain I have been experiencing. Each visit, I am given a new excuse as to why I cannot be treated—whether its that no one is available to perform fillings, root canals, or extractions. This explanation feels disingenuous, as I have witnessed other patients actively receiving dental work during these same visits. Each time, I am sent home without any care or clear instructions—only told to schedule yet another appointment and hope that someone will be able to help.

Monet Vonderembse I came in as an emergency dental apt to get a new crown that had fallen off. I was so happy they fit me in. The front office staff was kind, but that is where it ended. My whole visit took 2 hours for X-rays and a consultation. Once I finally saw the dentist she took 2min to look at my mouth. She did not even do the proper check of my gums. She recommended a deep cleaning that would cost over $1000 because my insurrance didn’t cover part of it even though I had a deep cleaning 8 months ago. I mentioned this and she said oh well my gums are in severely bad shape. Stage 3 gum disease. Next they told me I needed my top wisdom teeth taken out. I had previously been instructed that getting my wisdom teeth out would be much more complicated than worth the trouble as they are impacted in my sinus cavity. It would be major surgery. Last they finally addressed the crown. They told me multiple times that the tooth may need to be pulled. The crown would be an extra $500 or something. I had a quote from my insurance for $120. When I showed the office manager she said that this current dentist doesn’t do those kinds and i would have to come back on a Saturday but they were booked. I went in for a $120 crown and was quoted $1400+ worth of work. What a scam. I went for a second opinion at a different office the very next day. I was told I did not need a deep cleaning and the dentist got started on my crown right away. They did not threaten me with possibly having to extract my tooth. Do not go to western dental. They are crooks trying to steal your money.

Mike French I wasn’t let in until 45 min after my appointment time, despite arriving on time. The dentist mentioned some build up, but didn’t actually do the teeth cleaning. I was out in 5 minutes. I’ve never been one to complain about a dental appointment being too short, but it felt like they were just trying to churn me out as fast as possible and move to the next customer. I want to emphasize the use of the term customer here. I’ve been coming to this dentist for years and lately it feels like they are just trying to maximize the number of people that come through, at the expense of the quality of the inspection. I’ll be looking for an alternative provider.

Shammel Dunn Best Dennis in town been going to him for over 30 years. My mother did as well so he is our family dentist. I still drive two hours to come see Dr. Espinosa. He makes me feel like family.

Elizabeth Quintero Honestly, Ive never felt more welcome. They really care about your well-being, super nice, kind, and easy to talk to. They want to make sure youre well and will work with you should any concerns arise. I havent gone to the dentist in years and going back after such a long time, I was very nervous, but they walked me through every step of the way. Love the team, thank you so so much for what you do! Will definitely recommend to others.

Edd Raposas This dental office had a relaxing and clean environment. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Will give a 5 star and to the hygienist who cleaned my teeth had a very light and gentle hands and of course Dr Leonard Espinosa DMD who extracted my wisdom tooth a very well job done.

Carlnetta Kelley My sons first visit in a long time. I am so happy I found Paramount Dental Care and Specialty. My son ia a special needs adult and its been difficult trying to find Dental care for him. I absolutely love that they checked to see if his insurance/medical would be accepted before scheduling an appointment, even though I would have paid out of pocket if I had to because like I said its not alot of special care dentist near by, and some places have wait list (university Schools of dentistry offering special care Dental services). We are looking forward to working with this Dental care team of kind, compassionate, and empathetic individuals. They also played with my son when he clapped or tossed his stuffed animals (hes very hyperactive) he enjoyed every second of happy attention he received.

Fash Asvadi I was hoping to have a good experience here as reviews were decent and I had just moved from Torrance, unfortunately this turned out not be the case. The Asian lady attending was hard to understand and harsh. Deep cleaning not needed, then needed. fillings needed ASAP, estimate= $1675. Despite the distance, I decided to go back to my old dentist in Torrance for a second opinion. Conclusion: Possibly one filling is needed, to do all four estimated cost $560.

Adriana Villegas Delighted with the service received here! As a first time patient I was expecting much chaos and confusion, but it was quite the opposite. The office is easily accessible with its own parking structure and located in a very modern building. Upon entering the office the desk attendants were extremely kind and quickly got the process going for me. The wait time was a lot shorter than accustomed and the service received was great! A very clean and enjoyable experience.

Bryanna Zuniga Love this place! Recommend 100% . Ive been coming here for a couple years 3/8/25-- I had a very frustrating experience with the receptionist, MARY, during my visit. Not only was she rude and dismissive, but she also allowed another customer to go ahead of me while I was waiting in line. Its disappointing when the service falls so short, especially when youre simply trying to get assistance. I hope management addresses this issue, as it really affected my overall experience. I would think twice before returning, especially with such unhelpful and inconsiderate service.

Robyn Cerritos I’m adding a photo of my yelp review that I did several months ago only because I wish that I would’ve been able to read a review from a person that needed this kind of procedure done before I had it done. Don’t get me wrong. The staff here is amazing, but I don’t think that they are skilled enough to do the type of procedure that I needed. I still cry every time I look at myself in the mirror. I spent so much money to have my two front teeth look like such a disaster. I’ve brought it to the office’s attention and I don’t think that they care. I do know that the last time that I went in, I was told that the doctor was on maternity leave and they just took more x-rays and told me they’d get back with me but I have yet to hear from anyone and it’s been several months.

Elizabeth C I cannot recommend this office MORE! If you suffer from dental anxiety, this is the last office you’ll ever visit because they take such good care of you you’ll never need another dentist/place again!!! I hadn’t seen a dentist since before the pandemic and when I found this place I was suffering the worst toothache ever. They were able to get me an appointment quickly and were super gentle and non-judgmental about the condition of my teeth and the amount of work that needed to be done. They worked with me and explained the financial situation with no pressure and counseled me to make the best decision for me. In every way, they made this visit remarkably simple and every staff member was kind, attentive and patient. I’m so grateful to have found this place! Mel Johnson I sought help from Yang Family Dentistry after my long-time dentists front office and associate made some major boneheaded moves. Kristy walked through everything with me on the phone and got my pre-approval so I was able to walk in and be seen. Dr. Wang was amazing! Gentle, very soft spoken and patient with my anxiety. Extremely compassionate and knowledgeable. The current office is a relocate after the massive fire on Anaheim @ MLK back in 2022. Dr. said that she is looking forward to returning to that location and, everything crossed!, Ill be following her there.

Fancy OO Best dentist!!! luckily its super close, very clean, always on time and very accommodating. I once chewed wrong hurting my tooth and Dr Ha helped me out. I waited no more than 20 mins without an appointment. My appointments are usually pretty quick rarely ever wait more than 5 - 10 mins... I love the automated text appt reminders I recommend him to all my friends

Richard S I went as a walk in, was seen in less than 5 mins, plus x-ray was done right after. Had to get a tooth extraction so that was done after x-ray. The whole process took me less than 20 min as a walk in, also he is great with making it less painful as possible! Great job and thank you!!

Jen Bou American Dental Center is wonderful! I have been recieving treatment here for over 10 years and have never been dissatisfied. The visit to a dental office can be overwhelming sometimes, but Dr. Komoc and his staff do a great job at making me feel comfortable every time. Dr. Komoc also does a great job at walking his patients through the proceedure, overall easing any anxiety. Thank you Dr. Komoc, see you in six months for my next check up!

Amir Diaz If I could give zero stars I would! This place has treated my very Mother poorly. They always change your appointment at the last min. They never know what your covered for on your insurance. Unfortunately not to pull the race card but, they act racist to me. Ive seen them do a walk in from a regular client who was Caucasian but when my mother had an emergency she had to go to the emergency room at the hospital! I am not happy at all with their services. Mention the walk in because they made my mother wait 30 minutes PASSED her appointment to accommodate the other female. They need to act more professional!

Dash40 I have taken my children to many dental offices in the past and Dr. Pham and her staff exceeds any reviews I would ever give those offices. We are def here to stay. I have been to many dental offices myself and I have never rcvd the service I receive here. This is a family friendly office and I love that about them. They get to know you by name and they are very good with children. My children are not afraid of their dental appointments regardless of the work getting done because they have such a great experience here. They make you feel at home and make the experience as quick and painless as possible. Dr. Pham and Ashley are so great and do their best to get you in early when your in pain and seeing you the same day you call. I love this office and am so glad we stumbled upon them a year ago. I will never take my family anywhere else.

Joe Martin Dr. Tang is very friendly and thorough in his explanations of the procedures he performs. He thanked myself and my partner for giving them a chance, which made me feel uneasy and gave the impression that he lacked confidence. This clinic also only has one doctor, so an emergency appointment will never be an option here. Reception was lukewarm and not personable. I was able to get some basic work done here, but have since moved on to a different clinic.
