It was on our third trip when the most awesomely wonderful worker gave us the info we needed, and from my understanding, she didnt even actually work for the ihss profram.

1 /5 Ganondalf: This place has given me the run around for MONTHS. I had to pay my friend to take me there, because the 4 times I called, received absolutely NO HELP. Went to the building, even the worker was confused because the people I spoke to on the phone put random s--- in my file, claimed they filled it out for me and when I get there, they did nothing. Ive had medical needs for months, cramps from PCOS and not able to get what I need. Why these specific workers here dont do their job as intelligent grown adults do, like a different county I had received benefits from in recent past, god only knows.

1 /5 Ei H: Called MANY times and they claim Ill receive benefits, yet NOTHING has happened! I have been STARVING and cant keep asking friends for food! I wish I lived somewhere else, this place hates helping people who are desperate and refuse to do their job. This place needs to be investigated for how awful they are to people who need help.

I drove an hour each way and waited in the lobby for 2 hours to be told they did not obtain prior authorization. No one called me to tell me this. Now Im working with my insurance and my specialist to change the prior authorization AGAIN. I will continue to drive to Sam Francisco to get my treatments.

My daughter was seen by Melanie with a double ear infection today and she didn’t send over the antibiotics to the pharmacy so I called and they had already closed the office, I spoke to answering service and they asked what doctor my daughter was seen by and I told them and the lady on the phone was saying Melanie does not practice there. She then read me a list of doctors and of course Melanie was not on the list. How does this make sense? Pharmacy also called over to try and help and was told there was no on call doctor to help for me to call in tomorrow morning. My daughter now has to suffer with the pain because of all this.

Alivea Howell: I have never encountered a more disorganized and frustrating medical office. I take my uncle to all his appointments, and every visit to his primary care physician has been a challenge. For the past two months, he has been trying to see his doctor with no such luck. Every appointment made ends up being rescheduled due to some issue. Last month, we had to resort to leaving a written note for his doctor with the front desk staff because he was unable to get an appointment. This month, we scheduled an appointment for early March, only to arrive and be told it was canceled because the doctor was unavailable. While inconvenient and a waste of time and gas, we rescheduled for late March—the earliest available slot. The front desk staff informed us that we could do a walk-in any day before his appointment, as cancellations occur frequently. Despite multiple attempts, each visit resulted in the same response: no availability. Today, on the actual day of his (long-awaited) appointment, we received a call informing us that it was once again rescheduled because his doctor isn’t there and would be unavailable for another month. At this point, the repeated cancellations and lack of communication are completely unprofessional and incredibly frustrating. Patients deserve better scheduling management and more reliable care.
