Ampla Health Richland Medical - Yuba City
Alivea Howell: I have never encountered a more disorganized and frustrating medical office. I take my uncle to all his appointments, and every visit to his primary care physician has been a challenge. For the past two months, he has been trying to see his doctor with no such luck. Every appointment made ends up being rescheduled due to some issue. Last month, we had to resort to leaving a written note for his doctor with the front desk staff because he was unable to get an appointment. This month, we scheduled an appointment for early March, only to arrive and be told it was canceled because the doctor was unavailable. While inconvenient and a waste of time and gas, we rescheduled for late March—the earliest available slot. The front desk staff informed us that we could do a walk-in any day before his appointment, as cancellations occur frequently. Despite multiple attempts, each visit resulted in the same response: no availability. Today, on the actual day of his (long-awaited) appointment, we received a call informing us that it was once again rescheduled because his doctor isn’t there and would be unavailable for another month. At this point, the repeated cancellations and lack of communication are completely unprofessional and incredibly frustrating. Patients deserve better scheduling management and more reliable care.
Baron Harper, MD - Marysville
Dina Kuzyk: I want to start off by saying thank you to the doctor and all the staff that were so kind & friendly. You all are amazing and are so good in what you do. Doctor Baron Harper is an amazing doctor. He knows exactly what he’s doing. He made sure I understand everything and had no questions. He explained everything so clear and made sure I was ok. I left the office knowing exactly what was going on (even tho it wasn’t good news). He made sure the next steps were done. He made sure I got the care I needed right away. He’s amazing in what he does. He is a great doctor. Thank you so much for all your help.
Dr. Gagandeep Kaur-Heer - Marysville
Sureen Heer: BEST DOCTOR EVER!
Dr. Hari O. Goyal, MD - Marysville
Marilyn Tuttle: First time I called looking for a doctor close to home, office staff first words were we dont prescribe opioid, I have cops, no pain. Office staff is rude. Also know a patient who he has been giving opioid to for 10 yrs. I have 100 percent insurance and that my friends is what makes this DR. Happy! The worse part is if you dont go see him when your prescription needs refilled, for me breathing meds, you dont get them. DONE!!!!!
Structural Heart Center: Adventist Health Physicians Network - Marysville
Tejveer Dhillon, MD - Yuba City
Chuck Jurna: Hospitality: Outstanding. The engages directly with patients in language they understands and confirms mutual understanding by engaging patient with questions on their respective procedure(s). Punctuating: this not easy in this profession as critical and emergent issues can impact a Dr schedule for hours, days, or longer based on your health issues. In my case, every appointment was right on time as scheduled. And by mutual agreement, my surgery was done sooner than scheduled as a result of the Doctor’s schedule and priorities. Procedure: not a doctor so I don’t know medically as a professional but as a patient everything looks better than started and expecting to also feel better than started after recovering. Staff: their hiring organization does a very good job as all their staff is very professional and very caring about their patients. Complaints or Recommendations: keep up what you’re doing as it will s highly appreciated. Very good job.
Urology: Adventist Health Physicians Network - Yuba City
Mateo: I love Dr Alghrouz and his nurse. I appreciate their care and efforts to explain my treatment options. That being said, I have never been so disappointed with a front office staff in all my life. The difficulties have been steady for 3 years. In my most recent visit, I was berated by a staff member for being 30 minutes late to my 3:15 appointment. When I pulled out my appointment reminder card to show my appointment time was 3:45, she acted as if I had altered it myself. I have included the appointment card for all to see. This is just one example of the unprofessional, often condescending, and consistently insulting way this office is operating. Also.. never expect a return phone call. Better to go to the office in person. They dont return calls.. not in 3 years. I pray the good doctor finds his way out of this establishment, because I am happy to follow him to a new practice.
Dung M Tran, M.D. - Yuba City
Shirley Baker: Dr Tran became my doctor when Dr Blanchard left his practice, over 11 years ago. I was devastated over losing Dr Blanchard as my doctor but now I feel Dr Tran is the best doctor I could ever have. He is so knowledgeable about medical issues but he also truly cares about his patients. He always takes the time to listen to me. He is so kind and caring. I have 100% trust in Dr Tran and know that he will always provide me excellent medical care. He is truly the Best there is as a doctor. Thank you Dr Tran! Peace, love and positive energy sent to you.
Families First Urgent Care and Weight Loss Center - Yuba City
Noah Stoudt: This is the least organized, slowest doctors office/ urgent care I’ve ever been too. Scheduling an appointment? Plan to wait at least 45 minutes after you planned to be there just to get into a room. After you get in a room you’ll wait for at least an hour, if not two. I have never come here without using legitimately half of my day to accomplish anything. Once you do get seen, generally the doctors and nurses are kind and attentive and will explain anything you ask them, that was really appreciated. As far as the office staff, I almost always have trouble getting details about my appointments. There have been times I was asked to come in for a checkup, or a physical and the office staff told me “I don’t know if we offer that”. That, that’s unreasonable to me, you should know and you should’ve told me that on the phone when I called to make the appointment in the first place. There was also a time I waited in the waiting room for 2.5 hours because they didn’t put my form into the stack of people who checked in, so one after the other everyone went in before me and I had to go ask what was going on. Last thing, scheduling any of the “referral appointments “ like a dermatologist or something, is a nightmare. Every single time I call, the lady who does these is out of the office. Apparently only one person is capable of this job and is never there to do it. All in all, if you can avoid coming here, you’re better off for it.
Harinder Singh, M.D. - Yuba City
Mercedes Ratcliff: Walking into the office, I immediately noticed how clean and welcoming it was. The receptionist greeted me warmly, which set a great tone for the visit. Once I was taken to the back, the young lady assisting me was incredibly nice and made me feel comfortable. At first, when the doctor walked in, I wasn’t sure I was going to like him—but he quickly proved me wrong. He had a great sense of humor, was very cool, and made me feel at ease. The office was spotless, and he reassured me that the procedure would involve minimal pain. I initially wanted to be put to sleep for my extractions, but I didn’t realize they didn’t offer that for the type of procedure I was having. I had two back teeth extracted (either molars or wisdom teeth—I’m not sure), and he was incredibly gentle, patient, and reassuring throughout the process. The visit was nothing like I expected—in the best way possible! I thought I’d be there for hours, but the entire appointment only took 42 minutes. The experience was 99 times better than what I had built up in my mind. Oh, and an added bonus? The doctor wasn’t sore on the eyes either—very handsome! I initially thought driving all the way from Redding to Yuba City for a dentist appointment was crazy, but it was 100% worth it. I’d absolutely do it again and would highly recommend him to anyone in California looking for a great dentist.
