She is sweet, funny and has such a wonderful personality. I was referred to her by a friend Amber Ellis and this is seriously the best stylist I’ve ever had! I’m so happy with how my hair turned out , the color and highlights are perfect, looks so natural. She put layers in my hair and even showed me how to get the perfect beach wave hair by curling it. My overall experience was excellent, everyone there was professional and courteous. Thank you for having such a great salon!!❤️
Serenity Salon - Bakersfield Rana Soleimani: I had a haircut with Shary last week. She is amazing. She listens carefully what you may like and is expert at her job. Very readonable and fair price. Highly recommend her.
Studio B Salon - Bakersfield Iris Fuentes: Carlos is the sweetest man! He was able to squeeze me in and upon arrival his puppy noir came to greet me!! I came in for a trim, I told him that I wanted to keep my length and he did just that. I also didn’t bring cash and do not have venmo so he let me go to the corner store and get cash! So please ladies and gents have cash or venmo ready for your visit!!
Studio Groove Salon - Bakersfield Lacey Walls: My preteen and I have become regulars here for razor cuts and have always had really positive experiences. Our last cut was with Raven and not only was she kind, but she was so patient with my daughter and trying to get the right look she wanted. We have yet to be disappointed with our cuts and get exactly what we ask for. The salon itself has become a real safe space too. Each time Ive been, all guests and workers end up in joyful conversation together. It’s just a really fun environment.
Sip and Style Blow Dry Bar - Bakersfield Bryn Allard: Love love love this place! Everyone is so nice and makes you feel very welcomed. As someone who has a very difficult hair type, I was really nervous to go, but they stepped right up and handled my hair. Savannah and Jessica always know exactly what I want with my hair and execute it beautifully. My hair always looks so good and feels so healthy! I cannot recommend this place enough!
Hair By Bobby Rai - Bakersfield Kimberly Walton: Absolutely wonderful. He listens to his clients and he works magic on your hair. I’ve been going to him over 2 years now and wouldn’t go with anyone else. He does Brazilian blow outs and color and highlights. I’ve never left unhappy
Panache A Mark Lamas Salon - Bakersfield Crystal Ramirez: I had a great experience with this salon especially with my hair stylist Erika. First time walking into this location!!! I called around 10am I had a botched hair cut at another salon and was looking to fix my hair. the receptionist that answered my call was super nice and helpful she scheduled me for 3pm same day consultation only with Erika. I heard wrong I guess out of desperation so I showed up at 2pm and Erika still attended me. Erika seen my hair and seen how messed up my hair was and how sad I was and she right away squeezed me in and fixed my hair. I am grateful for her my hair looks so amazing. I will definitely be going back. I highly recommend this salon especially Erika.
Glitz Salon - Bakersfield Brittany: Sadly, I thought I found a good hairstylist named Holly for my haircuts and later on color for a couple years now. Everything was great until this last appointment a few weeks ago; for my touchup color appointment. I showed Holly the inspiration photo, she said no problem, she put my color on, BUT then took another customer during my bleach processing. (Which is not only against state board regulations but she did not ask if I was okay with her doing so either). She finally rinsed out my hair and said it was very dry. Which was an understatement, was my hair in perfect condition prior, no, but it wasn’t breaking or dry etc; after she finished styling my hair to conceal the damage, I noticed it was completely trashed and fried.
The finished “new” color concluded with my roots a dark & splotchy golden blonde, I had exactly five dark streaks that were uneven and not to the root, and then white not to the root highlights. Which was shocking for the $145+tip I paid, what I asked for, and I’ve never had an experience like this with Holly before. In the sun it looked okay due to the bright sunlight, but inside the salon, my car, and at home it looked awful. My entire household made comments. My husband wanted to get our money back, but I was so mad, upset and tired I just let her keep it. I’ve been very sick the last 6 months and didn’t need any of this. My hair was extremely dry, where I ended up dying it back to black to hide the damage because she ruined my level 8/9 golden blonde shoulder length hair. I had to cut off another inch after her haircut when I got home to avoid excess breakage as well.
I will also add that I am a licensed hairstylist of 18+ years, so yeah, this was bad. I would expect the results I had from a new hairstylist with no coloring experience. Even the girls at salon centric were shocked when they saw my hair compared to what it was a week prior. I’m hella nice, and didn’t disclose the stylist who ruined it at the supply store. Be careful going here since they allow the stylists to double book during chemical processes. Completely unprofessional. Double Thumbs down.
Salon Salon - Bakersfield sylvia: Erika dyed my hair and she did an amazing job!! She was very friendly and knowledgeable. The transformation of my hair is incredible. I absolutely would recommend getting your hair done by Erika.
