Getting my hair cut was wonderful thanks to laurie, it was the first time I have ever been able to have a real conversation about my hair and how it relates to my face and head shape. She gave me a great haircut that complimented how I look and she somehow managed to thin out my stubborn ,straight,thick hair when no one else that had touched my hair prior could figure out how to do it. Definitely going to be coming here from now on.

Ariana Leal: This is my honest Review it’s not to bash anybody or the salon . I came here about 3 to 4 weeks ago to get a last-minute install as I happen to be in town and I needed my hair done for a party. I reached out to the salon. They put me in contact with the stylist and I happened to get booked within the two hours. I get there nice location, The salon was beautiful. I’m getting my hair done with Priscilla and we’re having a good time chit chatting getting to know eachother. After two hours and a half I realize that she was taking too long, Usually my installs only take 2hrs30min. She took 5hrs! Left there at 7:30pm! Throughout my appointment, she was telling me how she underquoted me and It was supposed to be more.. but upon booking an appointment, I was very specific in what I wanted which was 300Grams and she agreed with 300$. As she was doing my hair, she was being very messy with the itips extensions , dropping the on the floor , stepping on them , getting it tangled. At the end of the appointment I was picking up my extensions from the floor all tangled and stepped on, which I thought was rude because all that hair was supposed to go on my head and I made specific in what I wanted. I understand that she’s was not used to Client like myself because I was asking her if this was the most hair she’s ever installed on a client and she agreed, and said her clients usually only get 100grams.. I only got 170 grams installed on my head and I wanted 300grams. But that wasn’t my frustration, my problem was how sloppy the install was. It looks like something Beginners do. I feel like she was overwhelmed and Just wanted to get my hair with. I enjoyed my conversations and time with her. She’s a really sweet woman but I wish she would’ve been honest and said something like she’s never done extensions with 300g but she can try , I would of glady accept thatt. Instead of being dissapointed.

I have never seen someone put together a color so well. I have been coming to this salon for years, and dont plan on changing anytime soon.

Jennifer Klein: I can’t speak for everyone at the salon, but after my experiences I wouldn’t recommend Hallie Dikeman. In all of my time I have never had an experience like I did this last time. She colored my hair & was supposed to cut it, but forgot & asked that I come back as she already styled it. It was a bit of a hassle (as I live an hour away from the salon), but I came back for the haircut…not the end of the world. Before coming back for my cut I noticed there were sections in my hair that were quite orange-y (my hair is supposed to be brown with icey blond highlights), & pointed this out to her. She then responded with “I don’t see it” while I pointed directly at it. Then she says I can put some toner on it, but not today (even though she didn’t have any clients after me & was just going to leave), which I even said “ok, I’ll come back next week”, & I thought that was it. When I followed up with her once I knew my schedule she said she would need to collect $75 (to fix her mistake). Never in all my time have I had a stylist require me to pay for a color correct. After talking to 3 other stylists I know (2 barbers that are trained in coloring, but don’t do it & a new stylist I will now be going to), they all IMMEDIATELY saw the orange & all said the same thing “she didn’t fully & accurately tone your hair”. On top of that, she forgot my haircut twice (which is supposed to be included in the haircut). I’d dismiss it as forgetfulness, but she always managed to recommend add-on services. Btw, if you go, don’t bother with the K18 mask…you can buy an entire bottle for about half the cost of one treatment on amazon. Save yourself some money & heartache & don’t go to Hallie D.
