4 /5 Paul Campa: Ok park. Has a kids play area. A section for small kids and another for bigger kids. Swings and various monkey bars. Cool thing is around the play area it looks like a castle. The park has a concrete pathe for walking. The park has lots of trees, lots of benches. All the benches are not on in shaded areas. No bbq pit areas but lots of grass area. I didnt see any restrooms.
2 /5 Rizza Lynn Husband: A beautiful park. Lots of open space. Not a fan of the woodchips in the playground as the mom of little ones. I wish it had the same foam-like floor like at nearby Rio Lindo Park. Some of the equipment needs to be repaired, as well. A few picnic tables and benches would make the space more inviting as well.
2 /5 Sandra Palacios: I visit this park every day now because my grandson attends a school near by,but it looks that it needs more T.L.C. the structure is al rusted and does not look safe for the little hands to play around those metal exposed areas.
3 /5 Josh Josh: Okay park. Mainly just grass, playground. No restrooms, no water fountains. They cut the grass here so frequently, like 3-4 times a week. It doesn’t matter when you go. Morning walk? Mowing that grass. Afternoon walk with the dog? They’re mowing it Evening walk after a long day of work? You better believe they’re out there It wouldn’t be bad but some of the workers are annoying af. You walk away from them trying to stay out of their way and they come next to you, they don’t care you’re in the walkway path either and the grass is gonna fly towards you, they’ll throw it all over you. There’s a doggy station that’s missing now because the other day one of them riding the mower decided he could text and drive and ran into it. Wished I recorded it.
5 /5 Noir Crystar (Suishou Seiryu): WinterFell *aka Shens Owl Cove☆

bOnBoNeSoCaL YaKyBlOoDliNe: Nice park. But the timer for irrigation goes off when me and other neighbors are running on the track. It would be nice if the park attendance could set it for midnight. Also the track for running is well taken care of. But the is a big hole that needs to be fix. I have tripped many times on that one spot. It would be nice if they could fix it before some old folk fall because of that section.

Mario Marik: Smaller museum worth visiting if you are in the area, Mullens, Seabees and Commemorative Air Force are nearby if you need more incentive. Make sure however, that you check the schedule, and dont go when there is an event there and check the hours of course. I thought I would go to a model hobby event there then spend some time looking at the real cars. BIG mistake, as they used the walkways to put the hobby show and blocked access to the cars. While it is nice for the club to be able to put on the show there, I was expecting a hall for this, especially since they reached out through the national chapter of the hobby event. Instead there was limited space for the vendors and model judging event. So neither really fulfilled my expectations, though I am glad I went, the model trains were really nice. I might go there again, but who knows when that will be. This was my first trip to LA in some decades.

Rico Babies: Absolutely terrible park. Very UNSAFE and DANGEROUS. Park it not closed off still accessible for children to get hurt. Some parts are boarded while others are open waiting for a child to fall. Paint is rusted and metal is sticking out!!! Do better oxnard.

Dee P: Nice little park to take an afternoon walk or whatever time of the day. You can throw a picnic mat to lay around. But no play area like swing and slide for kids. Still still child friendly park.

Makar Egle (eglectic): One of my new favorite places! Free to enter and lots to see and do. It seems like there are several hiking trails. This place also has specialty gardens as well as a bird habitat and butterfly garden. The children’s garden is only open Sunday mornings, but the rest of the grounds is always there for you to explore. Keep in mind, the hills are relatively steep, so the hikes could be moderately challenging for some. Another cool things is that a lot of the plants are labeled, plus there are plaques with literacy and activity suggestions for kids.

Our docent Jim was well versed in the history and flora. Lovely day in early November. No pets. This is a privately owned garden made possible by the Hogan family. Redwood trees, Cedar, Cypress, Oak, Olive, Ash, Magnolia, and so much more.
