1 /5 Rico Babies: Absolutely terrible park. Very UNSAFE and DANGEROUS. Park it not closed off still accessible for children to get hurt. Some parts are boarded while others are open waiting for a child to fall. Paint is rusted and metal is sticking out!!! Do better oxnard.

3 /5 Meki Cox: OK. I am going to be very honest. Id like to give this little park a huge 5 stars but I cant quite do it. Yes... we are Midst the covid 19 issue, but that doesnt mean the park needs to be ignored. And lately it has been.. Shamefully the park is currently covered in grotesque tagging - not even good graffiti... or decent art... simply just tagged words and mostly just slang... i can see the potential of the park but right now its dirty and tagged up... the grass is dry and it looks unkempt. And the bathrooms are locked up and there are some homeless camps that are not clean... unlike most of the homeless people who are in Oxnard and who are not problems and keep wherever they are clean... BUT.... AND I SAY THIS ALL WITH THE CAVEAT... I can see that this park could be rather nice when it is cared for and the community pitches in and picks up after itself and the homeless people are chill.... but I must admit at this very moment I cant honestly say Id bring guests or children here to play.

1 /5 Kenia Molina: It was my first time visiting this park and it was not clean, it does not feel safe. You would think since its right next to a school they would keep it nicer but the playground was full of trash, the bathrooms locked but smelt like pee just approaching it. I would honestly not go back.

4 /5 sudac sandra (Princess): 1st of all the park is humongous just beautiful the different times of Trees.. We just need to Paint it and fix it up a little bit.. Get some new restrooms.. And put some Cameras.. Nice Park for family gathering... Like I said before so many beautiful different types of trees..

Conejo Valley Botanic Garden - Thousand Oaks

Makar Egle (eglectic): One of my new favorite places! Free to enter and lots to see and do. It seems like there are several hiking trails. This place also has specialty gardens as well as a bird habitat and butterfly garden. The children’s garden is only open Sunday mornings, but the rest of the grounds is always there for you to explore. Keep in mind, the hills are relatively steep, so the hikes could be moderately challenging for some. Another cool things is that a lot of the plants are labeled, plus there are plaques with literacy and activity suggestions for kids.

Renee Gray: Free! Beautiful gardens, mahogany and teak pagoda, pathways, pergola, fountains and bandstand. Spacious picnic areas and clean bathrooms. Wheelchair accessible throughout. Our docent Jim was well versed in the history and flora. Lovely day in early November. No pets. This is a privately owned garden made possible by the Hogan family. Redwood trees, Cedar, Cypress, Oak, Olive, Ash, Magnolia, and so much more.

Chumash Indian Museum - Thousand Oaks

Carlo N.: The CHUMASH Indian Museum is a small historical museum and a living history center. They are dedicated to restoring and preserving an awareness of the Chumash tribe along with their historical, cultural, material and present day influence. This museum has Chumash artifacts and description of their way of life. Furthermore, they have a replica of Chumash “aps” homes which is a 10 minute walk on an easy trail. Along the path, visitors will find numbered Oak trees and native plants used by the Chumash people. The Chumash are a Native American people of the central and southern coastal regions of California to date there are only 5,000 of them in the country. Visitors can spend less than an hour to see the entire museum. The general museum admission cost $8 bucks. Staff were professional and affable. Free wifi. Free parking lot. Overall, I like learning everything about the Chumash tribe. I recommend this tiny museum if you’re in the area.

Phantom: First attraction in the beautiful "Gardens of the World". A great place to take some pictures of a beautiful car. Added this location to help "Gardens of the Wold" go green and not print the paper maps.
