5 /5 Marcia Gervase: Docent Tom Riley was an excellent tour guide with very interesting details about the history of the Stagecoach Inn. The docent ladies were as sweet and informative as they could be. Its a beautiful building, two storeys of period furniture, vintage gramophones, lovely dresses on mannequins to show them to best advantage, wonderful old photos of the Baldwin and Haight families and the original Stagecoach Inn in the late 1800s. The entire experience was fun, educational, surprising, and a lovely pre-Christmas experience for the whole family. A whole room dedicated to beautiful dolls, and another full of vintage and handmade Christmas decorations. Each bedroom dressed in lovely furnishings and the 1800s kitchen is a wow that anyone who cooks in a modern kitchen will marvel at. I am a photographer medium and often catch mists and other spirit anomalies in my photos, so bring your cameras, take lots of pictures, and tell the Baldwin and Haight families they are welcome to show themselves in the photos. You may not see them in real time, but check your photos carefully and you might be surprised at the number of anomalies you cannot explain away! (These are NOT scary events, but goosebumps just might happen. Just say THANK YOU when you get them.) Really a wonderful experience. One photo Ive included has mist, so look closely. The large Gift Shop has great offerings including handmade crafts.

4 /5 R S: When visiting this small museum, I highly recommend taking a docent guided tour. It really makes a difference in terms of how you experience this place and all the artifacts within it.

5 /5 Gregory Howell: I grew up in Westlake Village and during the Conejo Valley Days in the 1970s my best friend I painted the Stagecoach Inn for a store window display which won first prize. I was excited to return to the historic landmark which looks more beautiful today than I remember. The buildings and surrounding gardens are gorgeous and definitely worth a visit. It is truly the most historic destination in the entire valley. GH

Conejo Valley Art Museum - Thousand Oaks

Michael Teoli: I was a bit confused when the GPS said I had arrived at my destination when I pulled up to a Gold’s Gym. There was zero signage anywhere. Turns out this is like an outdoor mall and the museum is in one if the storefronts. I know it’s semantics but thus is more of a small art gallery than a museum. They did have some cool stuff though! And I believe the exhibits change often too. I’d be surprised if you spend more than 15-20 minutes here. The woman working there was SUPER friendly and informative! She’s a five star employee for sure. She really went above and beyond and even looked up some things for my son and I to do in the area. Unless you know of a specific show you’d want to see, I don’t know if I’d make the trip just for the museum. But if you’re in the neighborhood or better yet, doing something else in the shopping center, for sure stop in and check it out!

Lynn Oaks Park - Thousand Oaks

Juli: This is such a lovely park. I left work a little early today and I picked a random park on my commute home to sit at and de-stress for a few minutes. The play equipment and area is well maintained and suitable for younger and older children. There is also a water fountain and picnic tables under shady trees. In addition, there are open space trails right behind the park! I walked on them for about 15 minutes to see if they were safe for a 3-year-old. The trails themself are, but I would have to be cautious of bikers and equestrians coming around turns. I cant wait to bring my kids here to play and then explore the trails!
