Michael Teoli: I was a bit confused when the GPS said I had arrived at my destination when I pulled up to a Gold’s Gym. There was zero signage anywhere. Turns out this is like an outdoor mall and the museum is in one if the storefronts. I know it’s semantics but thus is more of a small art gallery than a museum. They did have some cool stuff though! And I believe the exhibits change often too. I’d be surprised if you spend more than 15-20 minutes here. The woman working there was SUPER friendly and informative! She’s a five star employee for sure. She really went above and beyond and even looked up some things for my son and I to do in the area. Unless you know of a specific show you’d want to see, I don’t know if I’d make the trip just for the museum. But if you’re in the neighborhood or better yet, doing something else in the shopping center, for sure stop in and check it out!

Juli: This is such a lovely park. I left work a little early today and I picked a random park on my commute home to sit at and de-stress for a few minutes. The play equipment and area is well maintained and suitable for younger and older children. There is also a water fountain and picnic tables under shady trees. In addition, there are open space trails right behind the park! I walked on them for about 15 minutes to see if they were safe for a 3-year-old. The trails themself are, but I would have to be cautious of bikers and equestrians coming around turns. I cant wait to bring my kids here to play and then explore the trails!

Phantom: Used for tables or benches and at times empty, a very nice area next to the parking lot. Added this location to help "Gardens of the Wold" go green and not print the paper maps.
Sapwi Trails Community Park - Thousand Oaks
    Sapwi Trails Community Park
Cryschelle Jeffery: This place is much larger than it looks from the street. Sapwi Trails is a beautiful hidden gem with what is clearly a newly installed parking lot and picnic area beside the newly opened disc golf course. Informative signs describe the park as a conservation effort and provide information on the native plant life growing around the park. The hiking trails are very easy and are great for kids and walking dogs. I like how the park merges the fairly new sport of disc golf with the conservation of our communitys unique native ecosystem. The tees are tucked along the hiking trails and provide a number of stunning vistas of the whole park and make it easy to explore this open space. The new picnic area is a beautiful investment in the future of our community and the maintenance of our threatened wildlife. In ten years the picnic area will be well shaded by the various native oaks that were recently planted. In twenty years it will exist under a lush canopy of majestic oaks. Sapwi Trails is clearly a labor of love and now that Ive found it I want to tell everyone I know about it.

James Price: **Charming Neighborhood Park Perfect for Families (4/5 Stars)** This quaint park offers a welcoming atmosphere with vibrant play structures that are sure to delight children, complemented by lush greenery that creates a serene environment. Though compact, it features a short walking trail that visitors can extend by looping around the park’s perimeter via the sidewalk—ideal for a quick stroll. Thoughtful amenities like shaded seating areas, dog waste stations, and benches make it a comfortable spot for both families and pet owners. However, be prepared for limited parking: I had to leave my car across the street at a shopping plaza, which risks towing. Additionally, the lack of restrooms is a notable drawback for longer visits. **Pros:** - Engaging, kid-friendly play areas and scenic greenery - Compact trail with options to extend the walk - Plentiful shaded seating and pet-friendly amenities **Cons:** - No dedicated parking; off-site parking risks towing - No restroom facilities **Perfect for a quick outing with kids or pets, but plan ahead for parking and bathroom needs!**
