5 /5 Cryschelle Jeffery: This place is much larger than it looks from the street. Sapwi Trails is a beautiful hidden gem with what is clearly a newly installed parking lot and picnic area beside the newly opened disc golf course. Informative signs describe the park as a conservation effort and provide information on the native plant life growing around the park. The hiking trails are very easy and are great for kids and walking dogs. I like how the park merges the fairly new sport of disc golf with the conservation of our communitys unique native ecosystem. The tees are tucked along the hiking trails and provide a number of stunning vistas of the whole park and make it easy to explore this open space. The new picnic area is a beautiful investment in the future of our community and the maintenance of our threatened wildlife. In ten years the picnic area will be well shaded by the various native oaks that were recently planted. In twenty years it will exist under a lush canopy of majestic oaks. Sapwi Trails is clearly a labor of love and now that Ive found it I want to tell everyone I know about it.

4 /5 Martha Reyes-Callejas: Lots of trails, trash cans throughout, restrooms, water fountains. There is no shade at all in the upper trails where they had demos on opening day (09/22/2018). I cant say anything about the other trails at the moment :)

5 /5 Darin Vasquez: Known for its 19-hole disc golf course and bmx jump track, this is a huge park with good walking trails. No grass fields here, but there are restrooms.

5 /5 Ned Gosaynie: This is a great new park with a kids playground and picnic tables on the Erbes/west end, a dirt bike park, disc golf course and hiking trails in the center, and on the east/Westlake Blvd side, a parking lot with picnic tables, paved walking paths and beautiful views of the park and hills to the north, south and west. I recommend you pay it a visit. It may have been affected to some degree by the Woolsey fire of 2018 in Thousand Oaks.

Reyes Adobe Historical Site - Agoura Hills

Michael Teoli: I learned about The Reyes Adobe via the "Passport 2 History" which has many local museums and historical sites in it that you wouldnt know existed! I always try to be fair in my rating system and rate things based off their potential. For example, I recently rated the (somewhat) nearby Pleasant Valley Historical Society Museum and Botanical Gardens a 5 because theyre really doing the most with what they have. I hate to give a free museum less than 4 stars, but there just wasnt that much to do or see at this one. They had some cool things, but really nothing hands on. The tour begins with a 10 minute video, which we didnt make it through as I had my 3 year old with us. The house itself had some neat things to see, and I learned some interesting things... The highlights for me was learning that the phrase "sleep tight" comes from the old beds that literally are on ropes that you can adjust! And that the bread was divided based on status... the workers got the more burnt bottom part, and so on up, which is where we get "the upper crust". Make sure you see the original mission bell outside that was moved here for an eagle scout project in 1988. Also, the artifacts in the original barn (where the welcome center is) is probably the coolest part. I really enjoyed the room behind the main room that has special events. That room was pretty relaxing for some reason. After visiting a bunch of these, I just felt that The Reyes Adobe was a bit less exciting than the others with less to do. I hear they have an amazing Halloween festival, so well have to check that out! If youre into history, this is definitely a place you can explore. I would personally bundle this in with a few surrounding museums and that will make for a nice day! But my toddler wasnt really having this one. Very nice folks who worked here though! A+ for them!

B L: Fun little park to take the kids too. Tucked away in a neighborhood so you could drive right by it and not even realize that its there. Has a small covering with picnic tables underneath perfect for birthday parties. There is one dual water fountain off of the main path but no bathrooms located here. There is a steep concrete wall that runs along the playground that has gaurd railing on it to prevent kids from falling off the hill into the playground. Funny thing is thebkids all climbed on the inside of it as an adventure to go around the playground. Also while we were here someone had brought some rope and the kids used it to tie on the pipes and use it like the were mountain climbing. There is a nice swing set and seesaw here and a roller slide that you dont see too often now a days.

Olive Tree Lane - Davis

Rob Woodman: Olive There Drive is between two UCD research fields. It seems that the olive trees are old and not cared for. Most of the olives that they produce fall to the ground adding oil to the asphalt of the one plane road. There is often a lot of traffic depending on the time of day. You will see bikes, runners and walkers, single, in pairs and small groups. People are friendly. Some people are walking their dogs. And there are a lot of squirrels and birds. At the end of the road, after crossing Hutchison, you son come tell the end on the UCD airport runway. Cross the end of the runway and you will soon be it the Bee Sanctuary and learning center. Bee Biology lab is there.

Marsha Keller: So…. It is just a “tiny town “ set up on the corner of a parking entrance to the post office, by who knows who. Not maintained. Looks like it might have been cute once- but in disrepair now with garbage strewn about. Not really worth a long stop but if you are nearby give it a little glance.

Stephanie Anne: Super fun looking at different types of bugs! We were able to touch their bugs. Which was super cool! They were super friendly too! Its not your stereotypical museum. Its more of an archive of their bugs that they have to pull out. I highly recommend coming here! My toddler loved it!

U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame - Davis

trevor morris: The bulk of the exhibit might be the wooden plaques of inductees, which arent terribly interesting on their own, but this is a great place for any cycling enthusiast. Bicycles spanning time and disciplines are on display along with some signed jerseys and a few odds and ends. The displays seem to lack much description or photos of the inductees or their contributions.
