Trachemysta: Beautiful statues of heads with funny facial expressions. There are a bunch all over the campus, but these are best seen from afar.

lileenleen: Punctual staff, lots of content. Could have more professional usage of display, but I had a very nice experience. The staff was very knowledgeable and welcoming.

Marsha Keller: So…. It is just a “tiny town “ set up on the corner of a parking entrance to the post office, by who knows who. Not maintained. Looks like it might have been cute once- but in disrepair now with garbage strewn about. Not really worth a long stop but if you are nearby give it a little glance.

Stephanie Anne: Super fun looking at different types of bugs! We were able to touch their bugs. Which was super cool! They were super friendly too! Its not your stereotypical museum. Its more of an archive of their bugs that they have to pull out. I highly recommend coming here! My toddler loved it!
U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame - Davis

trevor morris: The bulk of the exhibit might be the wooden plaques of inductees, which arent terribly interesting on their own, but this is a great place for any cycling enthusiast. Bicycles spanning time and disciplines are on display along with some signed jerseys and a few odds and ends. The displays seem to lack much description or photos of the inductees or their contributions.

Charles McGinn: Its fantastic! All those keets! So chirpy!

Ton T: A small gallery for contemporary and abstract art. The gallery is free to enter and so is parking on the weekend. The gallery lets you get up close to the displayed work but a no touch policy of course.

John Bernard: One of the earliest installations of the “Art in Public Places” program in Davis, California. It was a concept piece with spires originally covered with mylar reflective decals. Only minor problem was that the extreme heat of Davis fairly quickly disintegrated those plastic panels. I would estimate it lasted probably about 10 years – but the remainder of the metal pieces and spires still remain. City’s contribution unknown – also unknown as to whether not any type of warranty was extended by the artist as to how long the piece would be effective.
