5 /5 Carlo R. Carranza: The Central Park in Pasadena is a great spot. I love the open green space, the shady trees, the play ground and the relaxing vibe. It’s perfect for a picnic, walk, or just sitting on a bench to unwind. Definitely a nice place to visit while in the city!
4 /5 Tom Ford: Nice park for dogs and owners, especially. Too many people ride bikes or electric bikes on sidewalk. No fenced-in area for dogs to run free. Too much fenced-in space for lawn ball and crochet that is hardly-ever used. Occasional problems with the mentally ill. Maintenance crew do a great job. I think the park needs a security guard to patrol bikes on sidewalk and rest rooms and medical emergencies. Park is very well used by many.
5 /5 Vince La Luz: Lovely green space, well tended and kept. Worth a visit for the craft fair and other events. Parking is of course kinda abysmal for bigger ones but still doable
5 /5 Cristo P: It is truly a beautiful and peaceful park. Its a place that will not get tired of visiting over and over. Its a small paradise in a big and wild city.
5 /5 Ying Liang: Cute little park a few blocks away from the main strip of old town. Nearby garage parking, lots of metered spots on adjacent streets (quarters or parking app) Playground and small sports field, some picnic tables and trash cans. A few homeless people around during the day. Clean bathrooms. Overall welcoming and well maintained, nice to take a walk through.

Shawn Ling Ramirez: Lovely quiet park to jog through or take your kids. Explore the labyrinth, and find the flower and monarch displays. My kids love to run on the colorful skateboard ramps, and we even saw a gopher! The park is always changing as well. Theres a strong community of volunteers who enhance this park year round, so its always fun to see what they put in next.

Joel Burnham: Springer Park was fantastic. We went and met friends before they left town just to say our goodbyes and for the kids to play on an amazing playground and run around the field.

Anatoliy Kim: If youre reading this review, maybe youre considering Pasadena City Hall for an engagement or pre-wedding photoshoot. Well, youre looking at a great spot! Its stunning architecture provides a timeless and elegant backdrop for any shoot. As a wedding photographer and videographer, Ive had the privilege of coming here many times to capture beautiful moments. My wife and I are a husband-and-wife team, and when we got married, we actually did our engagement shoot here, too! One couple we worked with had their first look here in the morning on their wedding day, and there were plenty of private areas to exchange their private vows. Other times, weve come here for pre-wedding/engagement shoots, and every time, we find creative ways to utilize the variety of areas here -- there are so many options! One thing that stands out is the garden and fountain in the center, surrounded by majestic pillars. The steps are also wide and long, which makes for some intimate yet grand drone footage (for both photo and video). Parking is very easy to find, just outside the venue. On some days, there might be multiple shoots happening, but it hasnt been an issue for us before to avoid any groups of people. Clearly, we love this venue, as weve gotten our own photoshoot done here for our wedding, but even from a professional photographer/videographers perspective, you cant go wrong with having your shoot here! Highly recommend.

    Garfield Park - South Pasadena
    Garfield Park
Jordan Patterson: Garfield Park is located in south Pasadena. Its a great park where couples and families gather to stroll beneath the shade of ancient trees. Although this isn’t a large park, it’s dog friendly and designed to be used by those in need of a place to enjoy the day. The park features well-maintained pathways, a childrens playground, and spacious grassy areas for picnics and public events. In addition, theres a charming gazebo often used for small community activities and gatherings. I attended the free summer festival Shakespeare by the Sea at Garfield Park. This wasn’t just a wonderful way to spend my Sunday evening but a fantastic admission free theatrical event. And a great opportunity to see and experience Shakespeare. The parks walking paths are an invitation for visitors to enjoy the surroundings in a safe and clean place. This is a nice park that’s well landscaped with a wonderful play area for young families of all ages. I like kids… so I think the sounds of children playing add to the peaceful atmosphere.

bianca diaz: This place is stunning. I will be returning in the future to have more of the experience since I did show up late and didnt have a lot of time. All the different themed gardens were beautiful. If you love nature and its beauty this place is a must. They have restaurants/cafes and a cute gift shop. Located in a really beautiful neighborhood. Lovely museum.

    The Pirate Park - Pasadena
    The Pirate Park
Yulia Vashchenko: We were passing through this city and the child really wanted to play on the playground. I am very glad that we found such a cool playground with a sea pirate theme. Lots of different amenities: swings, slides, climbing frames. It is located on the territory of a large park and you can easily find a recreation area with tables and a toilet. There is also a shop-cafe in the building near the pool.
