3 /5 Mario Marik: Smaller museum worth visiting if you are in the area, Mullens, Seabees and Commemorative Air Force are nearby if you need more incentive. Make sure however, that you check the schedule, and dont go when there is an event there and check the hours of course. I thought I would go to a model hobby event there then spend some time looking at the real cars. BIG mistake, as they used the walkways to put the hobby show and blocked access to the cars. While it is nice for the club to be able to put on the show there, I was expecting a hall for this, especially since they reached out through the national chapter of the hobby event. Instead there was limited space for the vendors and model judging event. So neither really fulfilled my expectations, though I am glad I went, the model trains were really nice. I might go there again, but who knows when that will be. This was my first trip to LA in some decades.
4 /5 Rob Haworth: Small but varied selection of sports cars, campers, classics, woodies, foreign models, train set, and some very distinctive makes /styles not seen elsewhere. Select items are for sale. Docents were friendly and informative.
5 /5 Nick Watts: An incredible collection! Many cars were privately owned and kept in great condition. Cars and coffee meets on the first Sunday of every month are usually very busy.
5 /5 Rodrigo Mejia: There are a lot of really cool cars here, and a big new race track model.
5 /5 Michelle Anderson: Great little car museum! Definitely worth a look around!! They are only open on Saturday and Sunday. Looking for volunteers to help out now and again!

Makar Egle (eglectic): One of my new favorite places! Free to enter and lots to see and do. It seems like there are several hiking trails. This place also has specialty gardens as well as a bird habitat and butterfly garden. The children’s garden is only open Sunday mornings, but the rest of the grounds is always there for you to explore. Keep in mind, the hills are relatively steep, so the hikes could be moderately challenging for some. Another cool things is that a lot of the plants are labeled, plus there are plaques with literacy and activity suggestions for kids.

Chumash Indian Museum - Thousand Oaks
    Chumash Indian Museum
Carlo N.: The CHUMASH Indian Museum is a small historical museum and a living history center. They are dedicated to restoring and preserving an awareness of the Chumash tribe along with their historical, cultural, material and present day influence. This museum has Chumash artifacts and description of their way of life. Furthermore, they have a replica of Chumash “aps” homes which is a 10 minute walk on an easy trail. Along the path, visitors will find numbered Oak trees and native plants used by the Chumash people. The Chumash are a Native American people of the central and southern coastal regions of California to date there are only 5,000 of them in the country. Visitors can spend less than an hour to see the entire museum. The general museum admission cost $8 bucks. Staff were professional and affable. Free wifi. Free parking lot. Overall, I like learning everything about the Chumash tribe. I recommend this tiny museum if you’re in the area.
