Julianne Travis: I had a great experience at Shasta Reginal Medical Center today 04/01/2025. I had to have a Cardioversion and Dr. Khan did a fantastic job. He is the best doctor. My nurse was Felicia, and she was great. She made me very comfortable and relaxed. She was so good with everyone, and very funny too. Felicia, went over every detail with me very carefully. She also made sure that I had something to eat and drink when my procedure was finished. Felicia is an RN in the CSSU Department. Everyone in this hospital from the Senior helpers, the check in staff, and the nurses, especially Felicia and my Dr. KHAN where absolutely fantastic. Thank You Julianne Travis

Erin Ross: Its sad when one of the few places accepting new patients offers such substandard service and care. New patient/office visits are the most expensive Ive seen anywhere. Fine, provided they are attentive and available. Not the case. Its taken me months to get a simple referral sent to a specialist, and they STILL dont have it. Ive lost count how many messages Ive left, because they dont answer the phone. Makes one wonder if they are just more about collecting $$$ than they do about people. Do not recommend. Ive wasted so much time trying to take of some thing that should be simple. If you have a condition that requires your health care providers to have a sense of urgency, do not become a patient here.

Jenna Grace: Dr. Nicora was beyond rude to me. I had 4 stitches on my elbow and 2 of which had come undone at work. I called before coming in to see if I needed to come in or to just leave it, I was told to come in. I was in the waiting room for two hours before being taken into a room. Dr. Nicora told me that all I needed was a bandaid. I was frustrated and started crying uncontrollably. She asked “why are you crying” I said “i’m just frustrated” and Dr. Nicora said “we all get frustrated” and rolled her eyes. The nurses on staff were comforting me and being outstanding not only nurses but human beings. Dr. Nicora left the room and came back to explain more to me what was going on. I kept asking questions like what if the stitches fall out and she kept saying that they were fine. Lastly I asked her if it was okay for me to return to work, as that’s where the stitches were broken in the first place. She then turned around and flicked her hand at me and left the room. She was not only rude but not understanding of my concerns. I left the facility sobbing, I went to my car and received a call that “Dr. Nicora made a mistake.” I then go back into the facility to see what mistake was made. I was taken into the same room where a different nurse or doctor Im not sure, explained to me that I needed to get some sort of tape on my elbow to keep the skin together. She did just as such and taped up my elbow and put some sort of smelly liquid on it. The front desk was extremely helpful as well as the nurses, but Dr. Nicora was careless of my feelings and my health. I have never had an experience with a Doctor that made a mistake, let alone not care that they made a mistake.

Lauren Marra: From the moment you step in there until the moment you leave, you are greeted with such nice staff members. Every interaction we had while my husband was there for surgery was truly amazing. The front desk, the nurses, and everyone else are incredibly professional and kind and they treat you like family while you’re there. They went to every length possible to make sure my husband was taken care of and we were comfortable while we waited for him. Without a doubt, one of the best experiences we’ve ever had at a hospital.

My son was there to get vaccines, he was so patient and kind, he was training a student who wanted to work in pediatrics and gave recognition to her as well. B Gemmill: Worst prenatal care ever! No education young mother. My daughter has anemia since she was born. High blood pressure. No bedside manner my daughter told me that they shoved the thermometer in her mouth. Baby was a month early doctors at the hospital said that they feel like he was just diagnosed at the wrong age at Shasta community health maternity ward. Preeclampsia when she was in the doctors the day before and they told her the swelling was okay and everything was fine. I would never ever ever send anybody to this place. I feel like my daughter was prejudged because shes a young mother and shes also a person of color and so is the babys father a person of color as a white woman I dont understand what that means because I was treated differently but now I have a child and a grandchild of color and I feel like they were prejudged it absolutely disgusts me and I would never say to anybody there. All they really cared about was nothing! After reaching out to our old providers in San Francisco California there was so many things that happened while my daughter was giving childbirth and at risk for seizures that could have been prevented had they done their job!

Sera Warner: Unless you wanna be disrespected as a patient cause either they reschedule on u or u reschedule don’t go to them. First off when I first started going I got by the doctor which resulted in me requesting getting transferred to a female doctor then two years later cause they can’t find the appropriate company to do testing they reschedule on u then when u reschedule ounce they drop you then tell u if another referral is sent they will decline u yeah right because they know there in the wrong they will be hearing from my attorney when I find one. I just was to stupid and disabled to realized I was taken advantage of cause of the money coming from my medical insurance than actually them worried about my medical.
