Patients Hospital - Redding
Lauren Marra: From the moment you step in there until the moment you leave, you are greeted with such nice staff members. Every interaction we had while my husband was there for surgery was truly amazing. The front desk, the nurses, and everyone else are incredibly professional and kind and they treat you like family while you’re there. They went to every length possible to make sure my husband was taken care of and we were comfortable while we waited for him. Without a doubt, one of the best experiences we’ve ever had at a hospital.

My son was there to get vaccines, he was so patient and kind, he was training a student who wanted to work in pediatrics and gave recognition to her as well. I am grateful to know this is the people my son will grow up being cared for by. It gives me peace of mind knowing my sons Healthcare
Shasta Community Health Center: Maternity - Redding
B Gemmill: Worst prenatal care ever! No education young mother. My daughter has anemia since she was born. High blood pressure. No bedside manner my daughter told me that they shoved the thermometer in her mouth. Baby was a month early doctors at the hospital said that they feel like he was just diagnosed at the wrong age at Shasta community health maternity ward. Preeclampsia when she was in the doctors the day before and they told her the swelling was okay and everything was fine. I would never ever ever send anybody to this place. I feel like my daughter was prejudged because shes a young mother and shes also a person of color and so is the babys father a person of color as a white woman I dont understand what that means because I was treated differently but now I have a child and a grandchild of color and I feel like they were prejudged it absolutely disgusts me and I would never say to anybody there. All they really cared about was nothing! After reaching out to our old providers in San Francisco California there was so many things that happened while my daughter was giving childbirth and at risk for seizures that could have been prevented had they done their job!
Dignity Health Medical Center Building - Redding
Ray Steve (Klamath Adventures): Ive been going here for 4 years because I had no choice! The medical or lack of it has destroyed my health. And I have overwhelming evidence! I just wish Icould take them to court!
Shasta Critical Care Specialists - Redding
Sera Warner: Unless you wanna be disrespected as a patient cause either they reschedule on u or u reschedule don’t go to them. First off when I first started going I got by the doctor which resulted in me requesting getting transferred to a female doctor then two years later cause they can’t find the appropriate company to do testing they reschedule on u then when u reschedule ounce they drop you then tell u if another referral is sent they will decline u yeah right because they know there in the wrong they will be hearing from my attorney when I find one. I just was to stupid and disabled to realized I was taken advantage of cause of the money coming from my medical insurance than actually them worried about my medical.
Mercy Medical Center Redding: Spears Gregory R DO - Redding
Shasta Community Health Center: Primary Care Neuropsychiatry (PCN) - Redding
Jullie Calkins: I get amazing care and support from my psychiatric provider. Brandon is a great listener. He understands the complexities of care and presented me with a great mix of effective options in addition to my medication. I feel like I have a lot of tools to work with now. However, most important, is that Brandon is also partner in my treatment... He not telling me what to do... Hes talking to me about my choices and options and respects the fact that in the end its MY life. I have not felt pushed or pressured in any way... Instead I feel supported.
Redding Family Medical Group, Inc - Redding
Brandon Behringer: STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS Dr. OFFICE: I applied for my family of 6 over 60 days back. We finally got a call to schedule my young daughter for her first visit. When I called to schedule this appointment I asked about the application status of the rest of my family. I was told their applications had not been approved yet. I told the receptionist I didn’t want to make an appointment for my daughter if the rest of my family wasn’t accepted as patients. She agreed and transferred me to another staff member where I left a message. I left several messages following this. Frustrated, I called back only to be told I had missed my daughter’s scheduled appointment (the appointment we never made) and that my daughter could no longer be a patient. The receptionist seemed frustrated with their own process and apologized informing me that the staff member I was originally transferred to was no longer employed there and no one got my messages. I was then instructed to write a letter to the doctor apologizing and explaining why the appointment was missed, despite this being their error and an extreme failure in communication on their part. I asked to speak with a manager and I was transferred to Becky “ the Office Manager and left several messages before she finally returned my call. She was unhelpful and depute their mistake and poor commutation, the burden of proof for the missed appointment, was on me. To top it off, my youngest son’s application was still not approved after 60 days??? I know there out there, but I’m not sure how any business can to survive such poor customer service. I believe some doctors offices, like this one, just don’t care because they know the number of offices taking on new patients is limited, therefore they can provide terrible service and still remain in business. If their front office customer service is this bad I can only imagine the poor care patients received from the doctors. I pulled my applications and went else where. I should have heeded the poor reviews. Any business that has a 2.6-Star review has serious issues. I’m willing to overlook this from time to time but I will not sacrifice my families care and health for such a poorly rated office, and I can confirm from my experience that the 1-star reviews are accurate. It seems they are unwilling to address them and provide a better service. Good luck!
