5 /5 Leslie Dela Vega: I have to say Dr Rehman is one of the best doctors Ive visited for my mother. She has been his patient for 5 years. He is knowledgeable, incredibly kind and patient with my mother who has Lewy Body. He is also helpful in understanding her condition and types of treatments that would make her life comfortable.

1 /5 A. Dellosa: This office sucks! The admins who work here sucks! They could not find me in their database ( even searching with birth date) because I have a first/2nd name. It took them over a month to call me after my doctor referred me to them. I wait for my prescribed meds at Costco. Costco said they faxed some approval (PA?) from to their office and the admins dont even know it! 2 wks have gone by and I dont have my new meds yet. Today - I go pick up my meds- I only have 1 - not 2 that was prescribed. I call them at 4:45pm - its already the call service answering. The admins have checked out even before 5PM! This office sucks! If youre thinking about this office- NO-STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS-Doctor/NP Boan was amazing though. Its the admins who suck!

1 /5 Mailani Hanel: If I could give zero stars I would. This doctor is extremely dismissive, he does not listen to the patients concerns and ignores symptoms. He gloats about the fact that he’s “one of three neurologists” at NorthBay and cuts you off when you’re speaking. He does all of this while smiling as you get visible upset. He does not care about your quality of life. If you want actual collaboration regarding your symptoms and how to get better, you’re wasting your time and your money going to his office because you won’t get anything except a “Go see another doctor to sell you a diagnosis” And yes the quoted statements are statements this man made directly to me at my appointment. *For context: I was hit several times last year in my car and on my motorcycle which is why I was referred to him. I’m in constant pain and three other specialists advised that I’m not healing like I should because there is neurology concerns. He looked at scans that other doctors have looked with concern, and decided there was nothing wrong with me and told me “I must be making this up in my head.” Nobody should be treated with such utter disregard and condescension especially by someone who is in a position to help.

1 /5 Liz L: Reviewing Dr Rehman and North Bay Hospital. From the moment I arrived at Northbay Hospital, everything seemed to go wrong. I was falsely diagnosed with a stroke, which was later discovered to be an old brain injury. This misdiagnosis led to a series of inappropriate treatments, including the administration of a blood thinner. Despite the contraindications, a lumbar puncture was performed after having the blood thinner, resulting in a horrific reaction that left me unable to move my upper body and in excruciating pain for five agonizing days. The most distressing part of this ordeal was the denial and gaslighting I experienced from the neurologist (Dr. Rehman) who performed the lumbar puncture. Instead of acknowledging my reaction and providing immediate relief, I was made to feel as though I was exaggerating or fabricating my symptoms and was even told I should see a psychiatrist. This lack of empathy and understanding only prolonged my suffering and added to the trauma I endured.  I waited five long, agonizing days, laying in a bed feeling like I was being tortured alive when I finally had a blood patch on that fifth day. The blood patch should’ve been performed within 24 hours after seeing my horrific reaction. However, the neurologist was in such denial, I was subjected to even more MRI’s, cat scans and 3 rounds of contrast dye within those few days that were all completely unnecessary invasive exposures to radiation and toxic heavy metals. It took me months to heal from this and I now have permanent bladder damage and have lost half of my hair in addition to having what feels like worsening nerve damage. I walked into the hospital completely functioning, and I walked out damaged. I needed to use a walker for almost a month. In addition to the physical pain and emotional distress, I also suffered significant financial losses due to the inability to work during my hospital stay and in the month following my whole ordeal. This added burden has only compounded the negative impact of my experience at Northbay Hospital.

1 /5 Savannah Slack: This doctor is extremely dismissive. I was hospitalized because I couldn’t walk due to extreme back pain. Instead of taking time to figure out what the cause was, he looked at my scans once and decided there was nothing wrong with me and tried to convince the hospital doctor I had conversions disorder (caused by anxiety). What a typical thing to diagnose a woman in real pain. I had no symptoms of this disorder. When I requested a new neurologist, and switched hospitals to avoid him, he showed up in my room to tell me how wrong I was for getting a spinal tap. He also proceeded to lie to my face about diagnosing me with conversions disorder. This doctor is part of the problem in the healthcare system. I am still struggling with my pain and am getting continued care from doctors who care to find the answer and will research with me. I was diagnosed by another neurologist with long Covid that is causing endless amounts of joint pain and inflammation. My doctors are working with me on finding a treatment to keep it from debilitating me. Being a doctor is about practicing medicine, which means it’s ever-continuing. This man is stuck in his ways, condescending to women, and has no business being in his position.
